00:38where the main event was the men's war games match and concluded with an appearance from a mystery
00:43attacker now as the match went on it came down to see and punk hitting logan paul with the gts for a
00:49a near fall and then a masked man desk from from head to toe in black their face covered they scaled
00:55the double cage stood in the middle of punk and bron breaker i mean i guess the intent there was
01:00supposed to be to tease who that person was going to attack though that was never really in doubt was
01:05it was always going to be cm punk and it was cm punk uh but anyway that that mystery attacker they
01:09attacked punk they they hit i guess you could call it a a short super kick the super kick that seth
01:14rollins does uh then hit the curb stomp on punk before exiting the cage leading to bron breaker hitting
01:19punk with a spear to get the one two three now the way it was sold on commentary was that this person
01:25they might actually be seth rollins though wade barrett did point out how seth had recently
01:30undergone uh shoulder surgery but yes this was a very um a very seth rollins like sequence uh should
01:36we say from this masked attacker and for a spoiler who was under the mask i mean hey i'll give you a
01:42quick five second pause in case you want to skip ahead a five second pose i like the old edge and
01:46christian days for the benefit of those with flash photography
01:49right that's my five seconds yes per pw insider the mystery attacker was austin theory which is
01:57something that's also been backed up since by fightful select as well now for those who may
02:01have missed it dave melter originally reported months ago that austin theory was due to be a part of this
02:07war games match originally due to team with the vision with the seth rollins led vision now of course
02:12that was before seth got injured at crown jewel against coley roads and uh i mean to be fair to
02:18dave uh he's been he has been way way way off with several things in recent months and recent years
02:23but in terms of survivor series i mean at that same time he reported that lash legend would be a part of
02:28the women's war games match which at the time that seemed like a totally random totally out of nowhere
02:33report um a totally random totally out of nowhere report that obviously came true um so i mean that
02:38roland's injury seemingly derailed those theory plans with a town down seemingly set for a spot in
02:43the vision back then but now though i mean well now it looks like austin theory could well be the
02:48latest member of that group i mean yeah sure the person playing the master attacker last night could
02:54always be replaced by somebody else when when that attacker is a master is revealed but by all accounts
02:59yeah the attacker last night was indeed austin theory so um i mean i'd expect a little more on this
03:04when raw arose around tomorrow uh the other big headline coming out of survivor series is not
03:11only did dominic mysterio beat john cena to become a two-time intercontinental champion
03:16but dirty dom did so with an assist from the returning liv morgan now liv made a return after
03:21five months on the sidelines i think it was nearly five months uh through injury a shoulder injury another
03:26shoulder injury um and it was her return came about just as john cena seemed to have the match won i mean
03:31by this point we'd had interference from i mean all of the of the judgment day and dominic dom just
03:37could not get their job done brother and then liv's music hits she ran out to the ring she stared at
03:43dom and then slapped dirty dom and it was like it was a pretty hefty pop to be fair man that that crowd
03:47was was all in for this uh and then liv kind of jumped into cena's arms it was a move a little
03:53reminiscent of aj lee back in the day uh that's what it reminded me of and then there was this nice
03:57tight camera shot of liv's face as she she had a kind of crazed look in her eyes and then when cena
04:02dropped liv she swiftly kicked him in the balls yes man nut shots indeed nut shot city and that allowed
04:09dom to hit the 619 a frog splash get the win to become a two-time ic champ yes pick up a win
04:14and john cena's final ever ple match which is quite the uh quite the feather to have in your cap especially
04:21when you're a scumbag heel like dominic mysterio i mean that's that's quite the honor man not not just
04:25wrestling john cena's final ple match but to get a win over him um yeah that's something for dom too
04:29i'm sure we will be hearing a lot more from dirty dom about that in the coming weeks months years who
04:34knows uh something great to harp on about and while john cena is on the cusp of retirement one other name
04:42who could be getting a grand wwe send-off is aew's chris jericho yes now there have been plenty plenty
04:49reports uh out there that jericho's aew contract is up at the end of this year uh there's also been
04:56plenty of reports that wwe has interest in jericho as well as tony khan being eager to keep jericho in
05:01aew i mean the the inaugural aew world champion le champion now jericho has been off tv for i mean
05:08what been off tv for i think it's april which is crazy man that's a fair old absence we're in november
05:13now um i think it was april the last time we saw him um i mean there was there was a fozzy tour but
05:18that's i mean that that's not never even an issue i mean jericho has toured with fozzy many many times
05:23and still been able to make appearances for free w on dynamite and on on pay-per-views um but with
05:29plenty of speculation about jericho's future the latest wrestling observer newsletter notes that wwe has
05:34pitched a retirement storyline to jericho um i mean per the observer wwe has a solid plan in place for
05:40jericho um a plan that would lead to his in-ring retirement so it's not like they're just kind
05:45of saying like oh just come and join us and we'll figure it out from there it's like no no we've got
05:49this kind of mapped out you come in you do this we'll blah blah blah blah blah you get the big send
05:52off cracking so there are some plans in place should jericho indeed choose to return to uh to wwe and
05:59dave melzer also notes that um he believes that all signs are currently pointing towards chris jericho
06:04yes returning to wwe wants his dealers up now this report also adds how some in wwe expect jericho
06:10to be back with the company early next year again that would line up with all of that speculation
06:16of jericho possibly being in the royal rumble although nothing is confirmed at this stage in
06:20the game now previously fight for select as well reported how jericho will be able to will be
06:25expected sorry to get an offer of several million dollars per year in wwe although aw is capable of
06:31matching that i mean for me though then i mean you have to question whether aw uh should
06:37realistically be offering uh that sort of deal to a 55 year old who whilst i mean jericho is so
06:43important to that company uh he's so integral to the early success of the promotion i mean it's easy
06:46to kind of almost gloss over that now um without chris jericho i don't think we get the aw that we got
06:51early on just in terms of a mainstream name to come in with that i mean yes kenny omega is fantastic
06:57hang on my page has become the guy uh the young bucks were big names cody was big names uh there's just
07:02there were lots of important figures but i think chris jericho is as important if not more so than
07:06a lot of people involved in that company early on uh but at this point in the game when you've got a
07:1155 year old chris jericho who hasn't been utilized even when he was on tv he's not been utilized as a
07:17feature player because again dwindling down in his career so it's like should you be offering if you're
07:22aw should you be matching that wwe offer or just i don't know for me i mean also there's there's not
07:27much left for chris jericho to do in aew i mean yes there are titles he has not won but once you've
07:33been such a top star such an important figurehead for the company i don't know man i just think if
07:37i'm chris jericho i might in that retirement run in wwe a big return the huge response the massive pop
07:42you're gonna get um another wrestlemania match and then just kind of you know wind down towards
07:47the hall of fame down the line um but that's just me that is me spitballing here on a sunday

07:55anyway speaking of wrestlemania there are some details on the original plans for wrestlemania 42
08:02yes more specifically the wrestlemania 42 night 2 main event again this comes from the uh the
08:08observer newsletter where it's reported that not just was the original plan to go with seth rollins
08:12versus roman reigns at wrestlemania 42 but that that match was scheduled uh to be the night 2 main
08:18event which may be i don't know might be a little bit of a surprise i think to some people um i mean
08:22with seth ron's shoulder injury though those plans are obviously uh i guess the best way you could put
08:27it is very much up in the air right now and if anything it looks like wb is moving away from
08:32those plans i mean roman has recently teased going after one of the company's men's world titles at
08:36wrestlemania 42 i mean if anything i guess war games last night leaned a little into roman and cody one
08:43more time which i to be honest i've got no interest in that whatsoever um and to be fair i do not think
08:49that will happen at wrestlemania 42 i mean they will have a match again at some point down the line
08:52but i don't think many 42 man uh if it's me i'm having bron breaker beat cm punk for the world
08:56heavyweight title at some point probably the royal rumble again bron breaker pinning cm punk last
09:01night is surely going to lead to something there and then well then i have punk win the elimination
09:05chamber in chicago go on to face coley rose at wrestlemania and then roman he faces bron breaker
09:10at mania for the world heavyweight title i mean lots of beef there with roman and bron and the whole
09:14vision um i guess to get there you have roman winning the royal rumble i guess
09:18but hey that's just me caffeinated and spitballing on a sunday morning but yes those original plans
09:23they called for roman and seth to close out wrestlemania 42 night 2 and based on his comments
09:29on but but christ there's something's burning earlier this week it was a really fun chat to be
09:33fair it was a seth and it was becky lynch just chewing the fat while burt cooks but based on seth's
09:38comments there he's he's hopeful of being back just ahead of wrestlemania maybe a month or two
09:42ahead of wrestlemania though i mean that's never the case with an injury like this i mean anything
09:46can happen between now and then um but hopefully he's back see the robin later but yes it's uh
09:51it's it's those roads to recover his man they have lots of little spikes in the road so we'll see
