"She was not fighting for black people in the White House," said 'Daily Show' host Trevor Noah.

00:00With Omarosa gone, who's going to be in charge of...
00:05After former Trump aide Omarosa Manigo Newman insisted she resign from her White House post
00:10rather than being fired and escorted out, late-night hosts were quick to weigh in.
00:14During Omarosa's appearance on Thursday's Good Morning America,
00:17she argued that as the only African-American woman in this White House,
00:21she saw things that made her uncomfortable and upset, as well as affected her emotionally.
00:25That has affected my community and my people. And when I can tell my story,
00:29it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear.
00:33On Comedy Central's The Daily Show, Trevor Noah was unmoved by Omarosa's emotional explanation.
00:38Noah asked, when she says her people, does she mean reality show stars?
00:43Because she was not fighting for black people in the White House.
00:46You can't roll hard with President Trump for a year and then come back to the neighborhood like,
00:50hey, that was really weird, right?
00:52Omarosa also argued on GMA that despite what reports say, she resigned from her role
00:57with General John Kelly in the Situation Room, something NBC's late-night host Seth Meyers found rather fitting.
01:03He said,
01:10Seriously, you know it's bad when they have to fire you in the same place they killed Osama bin Laden.
01:15Meanwhile on CBS's The Late Show, Stephen Colbert was quick to mock Omarosa's questionable role in office.
01:21He also expressed his slight disappointment that Trump didn't do the firing himself.
01:25Firing Omarosa is literally the only job Donald Trump is qualified for.
01:30And on NBC's The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon called the whole thing a rerun of The Apprentice.
01:34Guys, you remember that old episode of The Apprentice where Trump fires Omarosa and she flips out?
01:39Well, I guess they aired a rerun the other night at the White House.
01:42Fallon went on to say,
01:43Omarosa's trying to put a positive spin on things.
01:46She said her goal all along was to reach one year of working in the White House,
01:50which is funny because that's actually Trump's goal too.
01:52Be sure to let me know which late-night host take you liked the best and all your thoughts in the comments,
01:57and if you believe Omarosa. For The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Tiffany Taylor.
