00:00In this video, we will dive into the story of the amazing Spider-Man, where what if May Parker had died, instead of Uncle Ben.
00:08This story takes place on Earth, 52136, where Peter Parker's life takes a different turn after the death of his Aunt May.
00:16On this Earth, not only was Peter out of the house, but so was Ben Parker.
00:21Ben was returning home from the store when he noticed his police and medical personnel outside his home.
00:27He sees May's body being carried out of the house.
00:30Helpless to help, a police officer holds him back and tells him what happened.
00:35Peter returns home devastated.
00:37After the police leave, he can no longer hide his secret.
00:41In a moment of grief, he reveals to Uncle Ben that he is Spider-Man.
00:45Consumed by anger, Peter hunts down the burglar.
00:49He finds him hiding in a warehouse and attacks.
00:52Filled with rage towards the man who took away the woman who helped raise him,
00:56Spider-Man punches the burglar through a window and seemingly dies.
01:01When Uncle Ben arrives at the scene, he makes a shocking choice.
01:05To protect Peter, Ben takes the blame for the death.
01:08He lies to the authorities and is arrested.
01:11His sacrifice leaves Peter completely alone, still just a teenager.
01:16Peter is left with no one to turn to.
01:18With Uncle Ben in prison and Aunt May gone, he becomes a ward of the state, moving between foster families.
01:24He reacts badly to the situation, rebelling and pushing people away.
01:30The weight of guilt becomes too heavy.
01:32Peter abandons his life as Spider-Man, refusing to wear the mask again.
01:37But that decision doesn't erase the consequences.
01:39It only creates more pain.
01:41When astronaut John Jameson dies in a shuttle accident, Peter is haunted by the thought that Spider-Man could have made a difference.
01:50J. Jonah Jameson lashes out in grief, publishing scathing editorials that paint Spider-Man as a menace.
01:57These words eat away at Peter until he finally snaps.
02:00In a fit of rage, Spider-Man breaks into the Daily Bugle.
02:04He storms Jonah's office and, in his fury, threatens to drop him out a window if he doesn't stop writing about him.
02:12Peter spares him, but the damage is done.
02:14This darker side of Spider-Man has emerged and will only get worse.
02:19Peter's anger issues land him in the Ditko Juvenile Detention Center.
02:23There, he crosses paths with old faces, Harry Osborn and Flash Thompson.
02:30Harry is eventually released, but Flash stays behind and takes every chance to bully Peter.
02:35The constant torment drives Peter over the edge.
02:38Using his powers, he breaks out attention and escapes.
02:42Now on the run, Peter lives on the streets.
02:46He hides in abandoned buildings, stealing food and supplies at night.
02:49Survival turns him into something closer to an outlaw than a hero.
02:54To make money, he begins confronting villains and turning them in for reward bounties.
03:00Spider-Man becomes less of a friendly neighborhood hero and more of a desperate vigilante.
03:05Eventually, Peter comes face to face with the Green Goblin.
03:09Their fight is brutal and destructive.
03:11The Goblin kills innocent bystanders needlessly and Peter loses control.
03:16In a fit of rage, he viciously attacks the Goblin, unleashing all of his anger and guilt.
03:22When the battle ends, the Green Goblin is left in a coma.
03:26Horrified at what he's done, Peter flees, believing that he has accidentally killed another person.
03:32The weight of his choices crushes him.
03:34In his despair, Peter decides to free Uncle Ben from prison,
03:39convinced that together they could make things right.
03:41But when he approaches him, Ben refuses.
03:43Instead, Ben delivers the same timeless lesson Peter needed to hear.
03:49With great power comes great responsibility.
03:52He reminds Peter that no matter how much guilt he carries,
03:55he cannot change the past, only the future.
03:58Ben tells him that Mrs. Watson is willing to care for him until he is released,
04:02and urges Peter to honor Aunt May's memory by living a better life.
04:07This becomes a turning point in Peter's journey.
04:10Peter takes Ben's words to heart.
04:11He moves in with the Watson family, who welcome him with kindness.
04:16Slowly, he starts to rebuild his life.
04:19He finishes high school and graduates with honors.
04:22He earns a science scholarship to Empire State University,
04:26where he begins a relationship with Mary Jane Watson,
04:29though he still carries the scars of his past.
04:32Peter learns to balance responsibility with hope.
04:35He no longer wears a mask recklessly.
04:37He chooses instead to focus on building a future.
04:40Years later, Uncle Ben finally earns his parole.
04:44Once released, he reunites with Peter.
04:47But in this universe, his role is different.
04:50Instead of being the man whose death inspires Spider-Man,
04:53Uncle Ben becomes his partner.
04:55Together, they fight crime side by side,
04:59with May's memory and Ben's wisdom guiding Peter on a new path.
05:02This alternate Spider-Man story shows just how fragile Peter Parker's destiny really is.
05:08A single change, the death of Aunt May instead of Uncle Ben,
05:11creates a darker, more painful path,
05:14but one that still leads back to responsibility, redemption, and heroism.
05:19Which version of Spider-Man do you prefer?
05:20The classic Earth, 616 Peter Parker,
05:24with his darker alternate Spider-Man,
05:26who walks the line between rage and redemption.
