00:00The story begins in 1966, with Spider-Man remembering the day he was bitten by a spider and gained his superpowers.
00:06That happened four years ago, and he's been putting his powers to good use.
00:10But he feels sad remembering his uncle's death and can't help but feel responsible.
00:14He swings from building to building, making his way towards the university,
00:17where a group of people are protesting against the war in Vietnam.
00:21Peter meets his friend Harry Osborn, who was driven to school by his dad, Norman Osborn.
00:25Harry's dad is pleased to meet Peter, saying he's been following him for some time now,
00:30and is impressed with his academic achievements.
00:32He offers him an internship at his company, but Peter politely declines,
00:36saying he already applied and got accepted at the Baxter Building, the home of the Fantastic Four.
00:42Peter can't help but notice that his spider sense is slightly humming, warning him of potential danger.
00:47He heads over to the science lab, where he meets Gwen Stacy, who wasn't too thrilled about him being late.
00:52He casually compliments her, calling her a fox, which quickly de-escalates the whole interaction.
00:57Peter likes her a lot, but doesn't know how to make a move just yet.
01:00After school, he visits the Daily Bugle Building, trying to make a few bucks by selling some pictures of Spider-Man to Jonah Jameson.
01:07As always, Jameson is not impressed, saying he wants to see pictures of Spider-Man being a criminal,
01:13even though he has never done anything to be labeled as one.
01:15While the secretary pays Peter 20 bucks for his pictures, he can't help but watch the news on TV.
01:21Iron Man had recently joined the war in Vietnam, bolstering the troops' morale.
01:25Meanwhile, in New York City, the nation's eyes have turned to Captain America,
01:29and rumor has it that he will also join the war soon, pressured by Washington and the public.
01:34Peter can't help but wonder if he should join as well,
01:37remarking that the captain has already sacrificed too much by fighting in the Second World War.
01:41Later, everyone from school is invited to attend a party to celebrate Flash Thompson's draft.
01:47Flash used to be popular in high school and bullied Peter a lot.
01:50He still holds a grudge and confronts Flash about it,
01:52but Gwen tells him to calm down and convinces him to reconsider.
01:55Peter asks Flash why he decided to join the war, and he says it's because of Spider-Man.
01:59Flash is one of Spider-Man's biggest fans,
02:02admiring his sense of duty for risking his life every day to save innocent people,
02:06and he wants to do the same.
02:08Peter is shocked to find out he is the reason his high school bully decided to join the war
02:12and wants to have a drink.
02:13Norman Osborn offers to buy him a drink,
02:15remarking a second time that he has been following him for some time now,
02:19almost like it's his second hobby.
02:20Norman says he knows him, the real him,
02:23which triggers Peter's spider sense to go wild.
02:25He notices one of the Green Goblin's pumpkin bombs sitting on a shelf,
02:29and Norman says he hid ten of those all around the bar.
02:31He asks Peter to meet him outside, and if he refuses, he will blow the whole place up.
02:37Peter believes him and goes out the back, not knowing what to expect.
02:40Norman puts on his suit, turning himself into the Green Goblin and calling Peter,
02:44Spider-Man.
02:45He instantly attacks him, while Peter tries to dodge his attacks and lure him away from the bar.
02:50However, he doesn't make it far enough and gets shot in the back,
02:54hitting one of the buildings and falling down.
02:56A pumpkin bomb blows up in his face, throwing him several feet into the air.
03:00The Green Goblin grabs him by the throat and compliments him,
03:03calling him brilliant and admiring his double life.
03:06Norman says his son, Harry, is useless and weak and wants Peter to be his heir.
03:11He pulls out a dose of the Goblin serum and wants to use it on Peter,
03:15but Peter recovers from the blast and uses his web to bring down a giant billboard,
03:19crashing it on top of him.
03:21Instead of running away, Spider-Man wants to make sure Norman is still alive
03:25and helps him get out from under the rubble.
03:26Norman claims he doesn't remember how he got there and thanks him for saving him,
03:30while Peter thinks the serum might have caused him temporary memory loss,
03:34but wonders how long it will last.
03:35He believes him because his spider sense doesn't trigger anymore and then takes him to the hospital.
03:40Peter remarks that he hides his identity to protect the people closest to him, like his Aunt May.
03:45The next day, while patrolling the city,
03:48he sees Captain America fighting a group of thieves and decides to help.
03:51He snatches one of their guns, remarking that the thief needs a permit to shoot an American icon.
03:56With Spidey's help, the captain deals with the rest, while being swarmed by fans,
04:00demanding to take a picture with him.
04:02Spider-Man follows the captain and says they have similar problems,
04:05having to deal with a similar fan club.
04:07The captain says it hasn't been a problem until recently,
04:10when people started to pressure him about joining the war in Vietnam.
04:13He spent 20 years frozen in ice,
04:15only to wake up from the end of one war and find himself facing another,
04:19but this time, a different war, one he isn't sure is the right one.
04:23He knows that people are dying and decides right there to join the war,
04:27saying he needs to see it for himself and understand it beyond news reports and government briefings.
04:32Spider-Man questions if he should join as well,
04:35asking if it's his responsibility,
04:37but the captain says responsibility doesn't mean he has to do what other people want.
04:41This is his journey, not Spider-Man's.
04:43Spider-Man does good work here in New York City,
04:46constantly throwing himself selflessly into danger.
04:48The captain respects Spider-Man for the things he is doing and asks him to let his heart guide him.
04:53Now that Peter knows the Green Goblin's secret identity,
04:56he gives the police an anonymous tip and Norman is quickly arrested.
05:00Everything is very confusing for Norman because he still doesn't remember any of it.
05:04Peter forgets that today is the day when Flash leaves the city to join the war,
05:08and he rushes towards Grand Central Station.
05:10Sadly, he is late again and misses the train by 20 minutes.
05:13He meets Gwen, who is mad at him once again,
05:15saying she wants to believe he cares for people because he is nice to his Aunt May,
05:19but he is a horrible friend who always abandons them.
05:22Peter understands how she feels,
05:24saying he tries to do the right thing,
05:26but it always gets messed up.
05:27However, Gwen notices something strange about him.
05:30He wasn't very careful when changing his clothes,
05:33and she sees the Spider-Man suit hiding underneath.
05:36She is shocked and realizes that Peter Parker is actually Spider-Man.
05:39One year later, somewhere in Vietnam,
05:41a group of U.S. soldiers surround native villagers,
05:44asking them to get down, or else they are going to shoot.
05:47However, something unexpected happens,
05:49and someone attacks them, disarming them in just a few seconds.
05:53It's Captain America, who asks them to tell Iron Man that these people are under his protection.
05:58Peter Parker visits the tomb of his former high school bully, Flash Thompson,
06:03who was sadly killed in the Vietnam War three years ago.
06:05Peter had also considered joining, but Captain America changed his mind.
06:10Many things have changed in the past three years.
06:12Norman Osborn was exposed as the Green Goblin and incarcerated,
06:16while his son, Harry, took over his father's business.
06:19Peter's personal life was going well.
06:21He was married to Gwen Stacy,
06:22who worked as a biologist for their former university professor, Miles Warren.
06:26But even though things were going great,
06:28Peter couldn't help but feel guilty for not trying to stop Flash from joining the war.
06:32Peter was also working for Reed Richards,
06:34and the two of them often had heated debates, especially about the Vietnam War.
06:39Superheroes had recently joined the war effort,
06:41helping the United States turn the tide,
06:43but Mr. Fantastic didn't think this was a good idea.
06:46Peter believed that superheroes, above everyone else,
06:49had a moral responsibility to help and the power to do so.
06:52Otto Octavius interrupted the tension by bringing everyone coffee.
06:56Peter still couldn't believe he was now colleagues with him.
06:58But after Otto had a heart attack,
07:00he became a different person,
07:01and realized that he could better use his talents to help people,
07:05rather than accumulating wealth and power.
07:07Meanwhile, Harry visited his dad in prison,
07:09but Norman was as cold and indifferent to him as always.
07:12Even though Harry had done an amazing job running Oscorp,
07:15Norman told his son about the Gemini project,
07:17saying it was out of control and needed Harry's help before it was lost.
07:21He blamed Spider-Man for ruining his life,
07:23warning that he could interfere with the project again.
07:26But if that happened,
07:27Norman had one more secret to tell Harry.
07:29Peter visited his wife at work and complained about his ongoing conversations with Reed Richards.
07:34Gwen told him to focus on the amazing work they were doing together and forget about the rest.
07:39Professor Warren greeted Peter and offered him a job,
07:42but Peter declined,
07:43saying biology wasn't his strong point.
07:46The night was still young,
07:47and Peter was invited to the opening of a new club in the city.
07:50Not even the rhino, craven, or the lizard scared him as much as the thought of going dancing.
07:55His friend Harry, now married to Mary Jane, had invited him.
07:57Mary Jane was happy to see him and offered him something to drink,
08:01while her husband, having had too many, was sleeping on the couch.
08:04When Peter asked if everything was okay, it triggered Mary Jane.
08:08She angrily said Harry was fine and that they couldn't all be perfect like Peter.
08:12They got into a heated argument, and she blamed him for Flash Thompson's death,
08:16saying Peter could have stopped him from going to Vietnam.
08:19She had known he was Spider-Man ever since they were neighbors.
08:22She knew Peter had the power to change Flash's mind, but didn't do anything.
08:26And now, Flash was dead.
08:28The next day at work, Peter and Reed had another heated debate,
08:31this time about the amazing technologies Reed refused to share with the world.
08:35Peter thought everyone could benefit from access to advanced technology,
08:39but Reed believed it would disrupt many industries,
08:42cause people to lose their jobs, and do more harm than good.
08:45Peter called him inhuman,
08:47saying even Reed's wife couldn't stand him anymore,
08:49and left him for a man who lives under the sea.
08:52This prompted Reed to slap Peter,
08:54and even though Peter's spider sense warned him the slap was coming,
08:57he let it happen, knowing he deserved it.
08:59Spider-Man left the building and headed to Cipro Genesis,
09:02hoping Professor Warren's job offer was still on the table.
09:05But something was wrong.
09:06While Gwen and the professor were talking, someone broke in.
09:10It was the Black Goblin, saying they had business to conclude.
09:13Professor Warren begged for their lives and tried to talk.
09:16But the goblin said his benefactor, the one who paid for all of this, wanted what was promised.
09:22Luckily, Spider-Man arrived just in time and knocked the goblin down with a powerful punch,
09:27demanding to know what he was doing there.
09:29The goblin offered to show him and threw one of his grenades toward a wall.
09:32A powerful explosion knocked everyone down, and the professor jumped to protect his assistant.
09:37The explosion revealed something amazing that left them all in shock.
09:41Three clones were being created in the next room.
09:43One of Peter Parker, one of Norman Osborn, and one of Gwen Stacy.
09:47Harry took off his mask and grabbed the professor,
09:49saying there was supposed to be only one clone of his father.
09:53He realized that Norman had ordered the creation of a Peter Parker clone as well.
09:56Norman wanted Peter to be his heir, even if it meant replacing him with a clone.
10:01Gwen was shocked to see herself inside the glass container and asked,
10:04Why me?
10:05Before the professor could answer, Harry attacked Spider-Man,
10:08furious that his father wanted Peter as his heir.
10:11He pulled off Peter's mask, revealing that he already knew his secret identity,
10:15and continued the attack.
10:17Meanwhile, Gwen ran down the stairs, with the professor following behind, trying to explain.
10:22Harry accused Peter of sending his father to prison,
10:25but Peter explained that Norman was insane and had been put away before he could hurt anyone else.
10:30Harry agreed and did something drastic.
10:32He threw two grenades into the lab, intending to destroy the clones, and succeeded.
10:37The entire top floor of the building exploded into flames.
10:41This caused Professor Warren to burst into tears.
10:44Gwen told Peter to try and rescue the clones because they were living beings.
10:48Spider-Man rushed inside, dodging the flames, but sadly, he was too late.
10:52Two of the clones were killed in the explosion, and there was nothing he could do.
10:56But one of the clones was still breathing.
10:58His own clone.
10:59The professor wanted to go back inside to save Gwen,
11:02but Peter blocked the entrance, saying it was too dangerous.
11:04After this, Warren finally came clean, revealing a shocking truth.
11:08The clone of Gwen Stacy was actually the real Gwen.
11:11He had kept her sedated and released the clone to live her life,
11:15all because he was madly in love with her and wanted the real Gwen for himself.
11:19Peter couldn't believe what he heard and rushed inside again, trying to save his wife.
11:23But it was too late.
11:24She was already dead.
11:25One year later, Mary Jane exited Peter's apartment building,
11:29while the two clones, Peter's and Gwen's, waited for her.
11:32The clones had fallen in love and wanted to move away and start a new life together.
11:36They even had all of their hosts' memories.
11:39Mary Jane returned inside to talk to Peter, but he wasn't himself anymore.
11:43He was furious that everyone else had gotten a happy ending but him.
11:46Even she had gotten the life she always wanted.
11:48After the incident, Harry disappeared, and she was left with the Osborne fortune.
11:53But what about Peter Parker?
11:54What about his life?
11:55Peter began to cry, saying he had nothing left.
11:58But Mary Jane comforted him, saying it wasn't true, and gave him a hug.
12:03The story begins in the year 1984, in the hospital, with Mary Jane lying on the bed about to give birth.
12:09But she was worried about Peter Parker, who had been missing for the past three weeks,
12:13the longest he's ever gone without giving a sign.
12:15On top of being pregnant with twins, she also had to take care of Peter's 90-year-old aunt,
12:20who was showing signs of dementia.
12:22But Spider-Man was millions of miles away, on Battleworld, fighting for the entertainment of a god named the Beyonder.
12:29The Avengers were victorious and regrouped on one of the Fantastic Four's ships.
12:34Reed Richards used to work with Peter a long time ago, but they had a falling out.
12:38Yet he still respected him and wanted to congratulate him for the amazing work he did with Parker Industries.
12:43Hulk and Thor show up, making fun of Spider-Man's suit, saying he needs a new one.
12:47They tell him about a wonderful device in the room next to them.
12:51A device that makes everything you want.
12:53You just have to think about it.
12:55Peter tries the machine and wishes for a suit that could fly him back across the universe to marry Jane and his babies.
13:00And it worked.
13:01Just like that, everything changed in an instant.
13:04The machine gave him a symbiote that attached to his body, and changed his red and blue suit to a black one.
13:09And on top of that, it returned him to New York City.
13:12He rushes home, swinging from building to building, heading towards Parker Industries.
13:16He enters the room, but it scares Mary Jane, who had just gotten out of the shower.
13:21She was happy to see him, saying it's been a rough couple of months without him, and shows him his twin babies, Claire and Benjamin.
13:28He feels sorry for being gone for so many months and starts crying, but his wife consoles him.
13:32Sadly, while every hero in the United States was busy fighting across the universe, the world had gone crazy.
13:38For years, the tensions between the US and Russia escalated to a cold war, with Russia fearing a hero invasion from the US.
13:45After the heroes disappeared, Russia launched an attack, launching nuclear missiles towards the United States, and the remaining heroes were left to defend the country.
13:54Even though they managed to prevent several hits on Manhattan, one of the missiles hit its target and landed somewhere in Pennsylvania.
14:01Vision tried to prevent it, but he couldn't, and the impact was so powerful that it caused his body to become intangible, becoming unable to remain solid.
14:09Parker Industries was in charge of radiation cleanup, having built a device that could absorb radiation.
14:15Reed Richards warned Spider-Man that the black suit is alive, a symbiote that attached itself to his body, making him stronger and faster, but also trying to take control of his mind.
14:25But Peter knew this, yet he still used it, because he was getting older and wanted to remain relevant and keep helping people.
14:31Things back home haven't been going great either.
14:33Mary Jane was tired of raising the babies alone, and, on top of that, she had to also take care of Aunt May, who was showing signs of dementia and would often run away.
14:42She blames the suit, saying he's become addicted to it.
14:45But Peter removed the suit and equipped his old one, wanting to prove a point.
14:49He then left the home, saying he needed to clear his mind.
14:52While patrolling the city, he stops on one of the rooftops to think, but he was surprised from behind by what appeared to be another black Spider-Man armed with a hunting rifle.
15:01The other Spider-Man attacks him, trying to kill him at point-blank range, but Peter's reflexes still worked and he dodged the attacks.
15:08He jumps the man and removes the mask, revealing the attacker was none other than Kraven the hunter.
15:13Spider-Man demanded to know why he attacked him, but he got distracted and Kraven stabbed him with a knife.
15:18Kraven says their two countries are at war now, even though he lived here a long time and feels like an American now.
15:25However, he was dying of cancer, and his body was weaker, but he still claimed he was stronger than Spider-Man, calling him weak.
15:32He wanted to kill his final prey before he died, saying Spider-Man used to be a beautiful warrior and he deserved a warrior's death.
15:39Peter begged for his life, saying he has a wife and kids now, but it didn't matter.
15:43Kraven pointed his rifle at him and shot him point-blank.
15:45This left him severely injured and Kraven presumed he was dead.
15:49He then took his body and buried him in the cemetery.
15:52Back at home, Mary Jane had no idea what was going on, but she heard a noise coming from the lab.
15:57She rushed to see what it was, and the symbiote broke out of the glass container and flew out the window.
16:02It sensed that something bad happened to Spider-Man and rushed towards the cemetery, going straight into the ground.
16:07It then bonded with Peter once again, healing his body and bringing him back to life.
16:11Now fused with the symbiote once again, Spider-Man wanted revenge, and he went looking for Kraven.
16:17He quickly found him in one of the dark alleys trying to hunt low-life thugs.
16:20He grabbed him by the chest and slammed him against the wall, claiming he stabbed, shot, and then buried him without remorse.
16:27The symbiote thrived on Peter's anger, and they wanted to kill Kraven, but Mary Jane was nearby and saw everything.
16:32After the symbiote ran away, she went looking for it and armed herself with a sonic pistol.
16:37Peter wanted to explain what happened and told his wife to use the pistol on him, saying he loves her.
16:42Mary Jane shot him point-blank, and the sonic waves were powerful enough to separate the symbiote from the host and kill it,
16:48leaving Peter free of the parasite, but otherwise fully healed.
16:52The recent events had put a giant strain on their relationship, and the two of them decided to separate.
16:57Mary Jane took the two kids and left, while Peter was left again with nothing.
17:02Nothing except his old and dying Aunt May.
17:04Kraven the hunter had finally come to peace with reality.
17:07He had cancer now and was slowly dying, while Spider-Man was the hunter now.
17:11He takes the hunting rifle in his hand and wants to end his life on his own terms,
17:15but before he could pull the trigger, the symbiote from before had managed to survive and attach itself to his gun,
17:21preventing him from killing himself.
17:23The story begins in New York City in 1995, during a horrific fire that engulfed one of the buildings.
17:29Ben Reilly and his colleague, Lori, rushed to be the first on the scene to take pictures for the newspaper.
17:35Ben is a clone of Peter Parker, created by Norman Osborn, who wanted the clone to become his heir.
17:40The fire was actually started by Dr. Octopus, who wanted to lure Ben out in the open and kidnap him,
17:45claiming he had a doctor's appointment.
17:47Meanwhile, in another part of the city, at Parker Industries, the real Peter Parker was having a meeting with Tony Stark.
17:53Peter had become a businessman after creating a successful telecommunications company,
17:58and Tony wanted to merge it with Stark International.
18:01However, Peter accused Tony of making weapons and funding wars across the world,
18:05refusing his offer, which caused Tony to storm out of the office.
18:09Building the company had taken away most of Peter's free time, and he hated the businessman he had become.
18:14But every now and then, he still enjoyed putting on the Spider-Man costume and fighting crime on the streets.
18:19He eventually encountered Dr. Octopus, who was destroying the city to lure Spider-Man out, and succeeded.
18:25Otto knew Spider-Man's secret identity, as they used to work together, and he had even dated Aunt May for a while.
18:31Peter wasn't young anymore, and even his doctor had advised him to stick to lifting cars, not buses.
18:36His spider sense warned him of incoming dangers, but his body struggled to react fast enough.
18:42Eventually, Dr. Octavius pinned him to the ground with one of the cars and knocked him unconscious using a nerve gas.
18:47Peter woke up inside a lab and saw Ben Reilly tied up across from him.
18:52Harry Osborne was helping Octavius, who wanted to capture both Peter and his clone to study them.
18:57Octavius wanted to learn how Ben was created because he was getting old and wanted to clone himself.
19:02However, the tests revealed something shocking.
19:05Ben Reilly was the real Peter Parker all along, while Peter was nothing more than a clone with his memories.
19:11Upon hearing this, Ben went completely berserk, breaking free from his restraints and attacking the doctor,
19:17claiming he had stolen his life.
19:19He started beating him senseless while Peter convinced Harry to free him.
19:22Peter was able to stop Ben from killing the doctor.
19:25Ben then broke down in tears, asking if Peter had suspected anything all these years.
19:29For the past 17 years, Ben had lived a simple life, believing he was the clone.
19:35While Peter enjoyed a rich life as a successful businessman,
19:37Otto lay on the ground, bitter about the two Peter Parkers, and still tried to attack them.
19:42Ben reacted quickly and dodged one of Otto's arms, but Peter froze in the moment.
19:48Luckily, Harry jumped in front, taking a direct hit and successfully protecting his friend.
19:53Otto got up and tried to escape, but Ben chased after him, calling him a murderer.
19:58He was knocked out by one of Otto's arms, but Peter caught him before he fell to his death.
20:02Peter ran back inside and hugged Ben tightly as he gave his last breath.
20:06Ben said he was happy to have been Peter's friend all these years, and then he died.
20:10The next day, the two Peters met on top of a building to talk about what had happened.
20:14Peter said he had no idea he was a clone, but he had grown tired of living the businessman
20:18lifestyle and wanted to quit.
20:21He offered Ben the chance to become Peter Parker and gave him all his secret files,
20:25including passwords, routines, access to the private lab, and all of his costumes.
20:31Deep down, Peter knew Ben was eager to live this life, after having been robbed of it
20:35for the past 17 years.
20:37Before leaving the city, Peter had one final thing to do.
20:41He visited Norman Osborn, who had recently been freed from prison, after Peter had turned
20:45him into the police.
20:47Norman was old now and pretended to be senile, claiming he didn't know who Peter was, but
20:52Peter knew this was all an act.
20:54Norman had been the one who told Otto Peter's secret identity and about the cloning, and he
20:58had given Otto access to his old equipment at Oscorp.
21:01Norman resented Peter for sending him to prison and ruining his life, so he tried one final
21:06time to ruin Peter's.
21:07But Peter was smarter.
21:09He had done his own testing and found out that he was, in fact, the real Peter Parker,
21:13and that Ben was still the clone.
21:15Peter had played along because he wanted to leave the businessman life behind and live
21:18freely.
21:19He told Norman that Otto had killed his son, which caused Norman's crazed side to surface
21:24one more time.
21:25Norman accused Peter of killing his son and tried to attack him with one of his gliders,
21:29but Peter simply crushed it with his hands.
21:31Norman became even angrier and said it would never be over, but out of nowhere, a sudden chest
21:36pain overcame him.
21:37He had a heart attack and died in Peter's arms, while Peter couldn't believe what was
21:41happening.
21:42Peter left New York and flew away to meet someone he hadn't seen in a very long time.
21:46His wife Mary Jane had left him some time ago and settled outside New York to raise their
21:50two children, Benji and Claire.
21:52She still loved him.
21:53Peter had neglected them while trying to run his company and be Spider-Man at the same time,
21:57but now, everything was going to change.
22:00The story begins in New York City in 2006, while Spider-Man is fighting a vampire-like
22:06villain from another world named Morloon.
22:08Morloon claims that Spider-Man isn't the real one, accusing him of being an imposter,
22:13and asks if the real spider knew this would happen and left him to die.
22:17This infuriates Spider-Man, who punches him senselessly, but he gets caught off guard when
22:22Morlin grabs him by the throat.
22:24Morlin then starts feeding on him, stealing his life force, claiming he was eternal.
22:29Meanwhile, Peter Parker is chopping wood and spending time with his daughter, Claire,
22:33discussing which university she should choose now that high school is over.
22:37Suddenly, his son, Benjamin, rushes toward him, telling him to come inside quickly.
22:42Mary Jane is watching TV, which shows Spider-Man dead on the ground after a horrific attack
22:46by Morlin.
22:47The dead Spider-Man is actually Ben Reilly, a clone of Peter.
22:50Peter had left his clone in New York City to run Parker Industries and be Spider-Man,
22:54while he moved to the suburbs to live a quiet life with Mary Jane and raise their
22:58two children.
22:59Peter says that a man named Ezekiel visited him some time ago, warning him about a creature
23:03named Morlin, who hunts and feeds on spider totems, different Spider-Men from other universes.
23:09Peter considers leaving immediately, maybe to Russia or Fiji, to protect his family, but
23:14his daughter tries to convince him otherwise.
23:16She urges her father to fight back, saying he is still strong, even if he's not as young
23:20as he used to be.
23:21Just a few months ago, while in New York City, Peter helped people during an attack, doing
23:26what he always does.
23:27Peter listens to his daughter and returns to New York City instead of running away.
23:31He talks to news reporters trying to pin everything on his clone, saying he was Spider-Man.
23:35However, the genie is already out of the bottle, and the whole world now knows that Peter Parker
23:40is Spider-Man.
23:41Peter heads toward Parker Industries and is greeted by Tony Stark, who is surprised he never noticed
23:46how strong Peter really is, how his skin is ten times denser than a normal person's,
23:51and how his leg muscles barely exert anything while he walks.
23:54Peter had kept his secret identity hidden all these years, and never registered under
23:58the superhuman act, possibly using his powers to build his company, making this illegal.
24:04Tony offers him a deal, asking him to come quietly and become a US Avenger on the side of
24:08law and justice.
24:09Peter declines, telling Tony to drop dead.
24:12This prompts Tony to call the Avengers, regretting that Peter hadn't agreed.
24:17Meanwhile, back in the suburbs, Mary Jane and the kids are watching TV, talking about Peter,
24:22but something doesn't feel right.
24:24Claire spots someone outside their home and warns her brother to take Mary Jane and run.
24:28Sadly, it is too late.
24:30Moreland has found them and breaks into the house, asking if Peter is home.
24:33In New York City, Peter is dodging the Avengers, who are trying to arrest and take him into custody.
24:38His spider sense is still sharp, though his body struggles to react fast enough.
24:42Out of nowhere, Iron Man punches him in the face, sending him into a nearby bus.
24:47However, Peter is still conscious, and gets up immediately.
24:50Sadly, he gets punched a second time by Iron Man, who grabs and immobilizes him while the
24:55Avengers perform the arrest.
24:56But Peter is not alone.
24:58Out of nowhere, something strikes Iron Man.
25:00It's Captain America, calling on the old Avengers to assemble once again.
25:04After Tony Stark introduced the Registration Act years ago, Captain America formed a resistance
25:09to fight against the government's attempt to control superheroes.
25:12While everyone is busy fighting, Peter escapes and runs toward his lab inside Parker Industries,
25:17where he has been hiding a dozen Spider-Man suits.
25:20Meanwhile, Peter's kids are fighting the sinister Moreland, who apologizes that their
25:24dad isn't home but says they will make a fine snack.
25:27Both children have superpowers and defend themselves admirably.
25:30But Moreland is too powerful.
25:32He grabs Claire and starts feeding on her, but she manages to fight back and scratches his face.
25:36This gives the kids just enough time to escape with their mother into the forest.
25:40Moreland chases them down, but Benjamin realizes something.
25:43Even though Moreland is nearly indestructible, Claire was able to injure him while he was
25:47feeding on her, exposing his weakness.
25:50Benjamin offers to be bait, attacking Moreland to keep him busy, and eventually luring him into
25:55feeding on him.
25:56Moreland takes the bait, but that's exactly what Benjamin wants.
26:00Claire picks up a log and hits Moreland over the head, throwing him into some nearby wood
26:04and impaling him. The creature can't believe he's been outsmarted by two kids, and with his
26:09last breath, he dies.
26:11Back in New York City, Iron Man asks Captain America to stop the attack, saying they live
26:16in a country with laws when suddenly Spider-Man joins the fight.
26:19Now equipped with his suit, he claims he knows many things about Tony Stark.
26:23He uses a device to trigger an EMP, created by Iron Man as a fail-safe in case the Avengers
26:29ever went rogue.
26:29The shock takes out all the Avengers and disables Iron Man's armor, allowing the other heroes
26:34to corner him.
26:35Tony argues that heroes need to be kept under control because people are tired of the endless
26:40destruction they cause without consequences.
26:42Spider-Man refuses to answer to him, saying today's events prove Tony can't be trusted.
26:47Tony remarks that he's smarter than all of them and presses a button, summoning the United
26:51States Army with jets and helicarriers.
26:53He then teleports away, avoiding capture by the old Avengers.
26:56Spider-Man apologizes for running away, he only wanted to protect his wife and kids.
27:01Captain America understands and offers to help fight Moreland, the creature hunting Peter
27:05and his family.
27:07The story begins in the year 2019, with an older Spider-Man saying goodbye to Mary Jane
27:12and his kids, moments before going on a dangerous mission in space.
27:15He and Miles Morales want to sneak inside a secret space station, created and built by Tony
27:20Stark, and activate a device that will take out most of Doctor Doom's tech on a global
27:25scale.
27:25Doom took over the world and killed most of the heroes, with the surviving ones going
27:29into hiding.
27:30Funny enough, they use one of Doom's ships to fly into space.
27:34Peter makes a few jokes about the Star Wars movies, but Miles doesn't find it funny, acting
27:38very serious.
27:39Miles is part of the new generation of heroes, after the same thing that happened to Peter,
27:44happened to him as well.
27:45The two Spider-Men successfully board the space station, while Peter recalls what happened
27:49to the Avengers, saying he is now the leader of the Resistance.
27:52After Doom tore through everyone, they reach the room and begin attaching the device, but
27:57the machine was offline and needed power.
27:59Peter goes searching for the ship's power station, while Miles stays behind to finish
28:03connecting the device.
28:04However, something was wrong, and someone had destroyed their ship outside.
28:08But Peter's Spider-Sense wasn't triggering, and he was not alone.
28:12From the shadows, someone familiar was calling out his name.
28:15It was Kraven the Hunter, who was now bonded with a dark symbiote.
28:19Kraven had tried to kill Spider-Man once before and almost succeeded, but now he was a lot
28:23stronger, faster, and more dangerous, and Spider-Man was old and rusty.
28:28Miles shows up and attacks Kraven, but he takes care of both of them with ease.
28:33But Peter had a secret up his sleeve.
28:35A power device attached to his wrist started to light up, and he punched Kraven with everything
28:39he had.
28:40The device completely disintegrated his body, separating him from the symbiote and instantly
28:45killing him.
28:45Peter says that all of his enemies are dead now and calls Miles Otto, Dr. Octavius to be
28:50more precise.
28:51Miles smirks and instantly attacks Spider-Man, knocking him to the ground.
28:56Two men with Spider-Sense should make it impossible to land a punch.
28:59But Miles has powers that Peter doesn't, and his reflexes aren't what they used to be.
29:03Peter realized that something was wrong after he called Kraven by his Russian name,
29:08Sergei.
29:08Norman Osborn had tried to clone Peter Parker a long time ago because he wanted to transfer
29:13his consciousness inside the clone, but failed.
29:16Dr. Octavius, however, successfully replicated this experiment and transferred his consciousness
29:21inside Miles Morales' body because he was old, sick, and close to dying.
29:26He pushed Peter against the side of the ship and said killing him with Miles' body would
29:30be too easy.
29:31So instead, he would destroy him with his mind.
29:33The two of them bumped heads, and suddenly, Otto entered Peter's mind.
29:37He threatened to destroy his mind from the inside and created most of his enemies from
29:41his memories.
29:42He then sent all of them to attack and kill Peter.
29:45Even though they were many, he was able to create other Spider-Men from his memories as
29:49well, and a brutal fight erupted.
29:51Peter was slowly winning the fight, and even landed a few good hits on Otto.
29:55But in here, Otto was in control, and he enlarged his body, making it taller and stronger than
30:01ever.
30:01But just when all things seemed lost, someone appeared that left Otto speechless.
30:05A memory of Aunt May, the former love interest of Otto.
30:08He loved her very much but was obsessed with work and neglected her while they were dating.
30:13She eventually grew tired of it and left him.
30:15Ever since that day, Otto had disappeared and only resurfaced several years ago when he
30:20wanted to clone himself.
30:21Aunt May's memory convinces him to abandon his quest for immortality and leave Miles Morales
30:26alone, and to finally accept his dying fate.
30:29Aunt May says goodbye to Peter, and then disappears.
30:32But something was wrong.
30:33Peter wakes up to reality just as one of the ship's glass windows breaks, and he, together
30:39with Miles, is pulled outside into space.
30:42He shoots his web and pulls both of them back inside, but the danger is not over.
30:46He takes Miles in his arms and rushes him to the evacuation zone, but sadly, there was
30:51only one escape ship left.
30:53He straps Miles inside, asking Otto to give Miles his life back, saying that someone needs
30:58to stay behind and make sure the device works and the Doomtech is taken out for good.
31:03The place was quickly falling apart, with fires erupting all over the place, and Peter
31:08was barely keeping the thing together.
31:10He just needed to keep the ship intact a few more moments while the machine powered on.
31:14The side of the ship explodes, sucking everything into space, but Peter's web was strong enough
31:19to keep him still.
31:20However, he wasn't alone.
31:22The symbiote that was once part of him was still alive, and it covered the opening in the
31:26side of the ship, trying to protect and keep Peter alive.
31:29He starts dreaming of Mary Jane, the love of his life, telling her that every time he's
31:33that everything's going to be alright, while also wondering if Otto's going to do the right
31:36thing and give Miles his life back.
31:38The machine eventually powers on and activates a giant EMP that sends shockwaves all over
31:43the planet, disrupting the tech left behind by Dr. Doom and saving its people.
31:48Just moments away from death, Peter tells Mary Jane how much he loves her, and that he hit
31:53the jackpot when marrying her.
31:55Back on Earth, Dr. Octavius did the right thing, and switched back his body with Miles Morales,
32:00returning to his dying form, inside an incubator.
32:03Otto says he is sorry, and that he tried to do his best, but Miles couldn't forgive him.
32:08He wanted to kill him for what he did, but decides to leave, remarking that Peter wouldn't
32:12have wanted him to do that.
32:13Miles visits MJ, who instantly hugs him, saying she has a gift for him.
32:18Since he already has a name for himself, he might as well use the original Spider-Man suit
32:22that Peter used to have.
32:23She gives him her husband's suit, which leaves Miles speechless and honored.
32:27The story begins in 1965, after the Scorpion killed Professor Farley Stilwell, the man
32:33who created him.
32:34J. Jonah Jameson was the one who hired Stilwell to create Scorpion in hopes of taking down
32:38Spider-Man, but now, he had blood on his hands, feeling responsible for his death.
32:43But Jameson refused to give up and hired another scientist to create a robot, one that he could
32:48control from a distance to bring Spider-Man to justice.
32:51However, this plan failed as well.
32:53He returns home and finds the police waiting for him, but they weren't there to arrest
32:57him.
32:57Captain Stacy tells him that Scorpion had just escaped from prison and might be coming to
33:01kill him, but Jameson says the one they should be worried about is Spider-Man.
33:05Even though Spider-Man had saved Jameson several months ago when the Scorpion wanted to kill
33:08him, Jameson's hatred for Spider-Man was stronger than ever.
33:12He hated him, his quips, his superiority, and his powers.
33:16One year later, while Jameson was enjoying a drink inside his New York apartment, he receives
33:21a visit from Captain Stacy once again.
33:23Stacy tells him that while the Scorpion was in prison, he confessed everything and revealed
33:27that Jameson was responsible for his creation.
33:30Jameson was immediately arrested, convicted, and sent to prison.
33:34Even behind bars, Jameson still blamed Spider-Man, saying that if Spider-Man didn't exist,
33:39he wouldn't have done the things he did.
33:41His son, John, visits him for the first time since he was imprisoned and tells him he is
33:46on leave from work.
33:46The last time John went on a spacewalk, he picked up something, a sickness, but Spider-Man
33:52saved him.
33:53This was the last thing Jameson wanted to hear.
33:55He bursts out screaming, saying that Spider-Man is taunting him.
33:58He calls his son a true hero who sacrificed his life for his country, while Spider-Man is
34:03nothing more than a clown hiding behind a mask.
34:06He says that only people with secrets, people doing wrong, wear masks, like the mugger who
34:11killed John's mother, Jameson's wife.
34:13His son is heartbroken to see his father so consumed by hatred for Spider-Man and leaves.
34:18Ten years pass, and Jameson spends most of his time writing his memoirs, about his life
34:23and, of course, about Spider-Man.
34:25Norman Osborn becomes his friend, and they both share a common hatred for the man who
34:30put them behind bars.
34:32Norman sees on the news that Spider-Man killed Peter Parker's wife, Gwen Stacy, filling his
34:36heart with even more hatred.
34:38Many months later, Peter Parker receives a collect call from prison.
34:41It's Jameson, who wants to express his condolences.
34:45He offers his support in taking down Spider-Man, but Peter can't believe how much Jameson still
34:49hates Spider-Man after all this time.
34:51Peter tells Jameson to let go of the past and move on, saying that Spider-Man is just a
34:56man.
34:56Another 14 years pass, and Jameson is much older now.
35:00He and other inmates attend group meetings with the prison's psychiatrist, including Norman
35:04Osborn, who is set to be released the following week.
35:07Jonah says all of them were put behind bars by superheroes, masked vigilantes who take
35:12the law into their own hands, yet somehow, they are the ones in prison.
35:16Dr. Helen Carroll, the psychiatrist, tells him that while superheroes put the others in
35:21prison, Jameson put himself in prison, and only he can let go of the anger.
35:25Jameson spends the next three years serving his sentence while continuing to write his memoirs.
35:30One day, the psychiatrist visits him with bad news.
35:33Norman Osborn passed away from a heart attack.
35:35He was found dead in his home, surrounded by the Green Goblin's artifacts.
35:39Carol is disappointed, believing she was helping the inmates move on from their past, but after
35:44Norman was released, he went right back to his old ways.
35:47She hands Jameson a letter, saying it was part of Norman's dying will.
35:51Six more years pass, and Jameson is finally set free.
35:55He opens the letter from Osborn, which contains an address.
35:58He drives to an abandoned warehouse and opens the door, shocked to see what was inside.
36:03Norman had left him a power suit, hoping Jameson would use it to take down Spider-Man, something
36:08Norman couldn't do after being released.
36:10Jameson reflects that he is a selfish, stubborn man, quick to anger, but above all, he is a
36:15good man.
36:16He takes Osborn's suit, but instead of using it to take down Spider-Man, he goes after
36:20the Scorpion, saying that J. Jonah Jameson fixes his mistakes.
36:24It seems that all that time in prison had changed him.
36:26He had a lot of time to reflect on his life, especially on the call he had with Peter Parker.
36:30He realizes that Peter lost everything, but it wasn't Spider-Man's fault.
36:34Spider-Man was just a man.
36:36After being set free, he is determined to correct his biggest mistake, but Scorpion is still
36:41strong and pins Jameson to the ground.
36:43Scorpion attacks him with his sharp tail, trying to crack his armor and stab him in the face.
36:48However, Jameson manages to grab the tail and turn it against Scorpion, stabbing him in
36:53the chest.
36:53The Scorpion falls, a victim of his own weapon, and Jameson has fulfilled his vow to correct
36:58his mistake.
36:59He gets out of the suit and reflects that his memoir is finally finished, his life story.
37:04But perhaps it's too late.
37:05Suddenly, he feels chest pains and falls to the ground, clutching his heart.
37:09He is having a heart attack but manages to speak his last words.
37:13I'm sorry.
37:14Not many people attend his funeral.
37:16Jameson didn't have many friends, but one person still remembers him, Peter Parker.
37:20Peter watches from a distance when the psychiatrist, Helen Carroll, introduces herself.
37:25Peter recognizes her.
37:26Helen Carroll is actually a clone of Gwen Stacy, who disappeared a long time ago after the real
37:31Gwen Stacy was killed.
37:33Carroll volunteered to work at the prison to help people obsessed with Spider-Man, including
37:37Jameson.
37:38She says that, towards the end, Jameson was a changed man, and shows Peter the book Jameson
37:43wrote in prison, a book about a man obsessed with Spider-Man who lost everything but managed
37:48to find himself in the end.
37:50Helen says that Jameson wanted Spider-Man to have the book, but Peter says he isn't Spider-Man
37:54any longer.
37:55However, Carol, with all of Gwen Stacy's memories, knows Peter Parker too well.
38:00She knows that he always keeps a Spider-Man mask in his pocket.
