00:00After Storm helped set sail toward Europe in search of Tony Stark and Reed Richards,

00:05the heroes gathered to plan their strategy, how to counter Apocalypse's vicious rule.

00:10But everything was interrupted when Peter and May Parker's spider sense screamed danger.

00:15In seconds, Nick Fury became the first victim, impaled by the flaming chains of the Ghost Rider pirates.

00:22Nightcrawler didn't waste a moment. He knew these waters well.

00:25Storm, we have to move. If they catch us, this ship will burn, he shouted.

00:30X-23, Honey Badger, and Colossus readied for battle.

00:33We'll slow them down, X-23 yelled.

00:36Colossus, shouted Honey Badger. It's time for the fastball special.

00:40With a mighty heave, Colossus hurled both mutants through the air,

00:44a blur of claws and fury as they landed aboard the flaming Ghost Ship,

00:49cutting down two riders before hitting the deck.

00:51Meanwhile, Storm summoned all her strength, pushing the helicarrier forward with violent gusts of wind.

00:58From above, Nightcrawler scanned the battlefield.

01:01We have to make it to the Guardian of the Port. Quickly!

01:03The helicarrier surged ahead, but the Ghost Rider's vessel stayed on their tail, closing in fast.

01:09On deck, two riders unleashed a storm of Hellfire bullets from their infernal weapons.

01:14Sue Storm leapt forward, creating a force field to protect her teammates.

01:18But the barrage was relentless. They needed a plan.

01:21Then from the smoke and flame, Nightcrawler appeared, sword in hand.

01:26Madrox, you're in charge. I'm going.

01:28Going where? yelled multiple men, barely hearing through the chaos.

01:32Nightcrawler dove off the ship, vanishing into purple smoke.

01:35To get Fury! he cried before teleporting away.

01:38The two ships collided. Fire lit the sea.

01:41The heroes poured every ounce of power into the assault, relentless, desperate.

01:45Then the ocean itself roared.

01:47From the depths rose a massive lagoon dragon, its eyes blazing.

01:51May Parker froze in terror, but Peter knelt beside her with a calm smile.

01:55It's okay, May.

01:56From the creature's back, Ant-Man appeared, riding the beast triumphantly.

02:01Fire! he ordered, pointing at the Ghost Rider's ship.

02:04With one devastating blast of energy, the dragon scorched their enemies,

02:08then crushed the burning vessel beneath its weight.

02:10Ant-Man smirked, how was the trip?

02:12But the answer was written in everyone's faces.

02:15X-23, Badger and Nightcrawler returned, carrying Nick Fury's lifeless body.

02:20Ant-Man lowered his head, whispering, oh no, as the cost of their journey settled in.

02:25Days later in Portugal, a solemn ceremony honored Nick Fury,

02:30a man who had fought wars for decades, but spent his final years building something better.

02:34The wind carried the quiet grief of heroes who had already lost too much.

02:39From the shadows came a familiar voice.

02:41Deadpool, grinning, stepped forward.

02:43Hey, welcome to Europe.

02:45Before I bust out my standard hats and accents, I just want to gauge the room.

02:49How are we feeling about cultural stereotypes?

02:51Honey Badger turned to him, her face heavy with sadness.

02:55He blinked, confused.

02:56Gabby, what's with you being all serious?

02:59Did someone die or something?

03:00A voice cracked.

03:01Yeah, Nick Fury.

03:03Deadpool froze.

03:04The humor drained from his face.

03:07He looked down quietly.

03:09Fury was one of the good ones.

03:10Meanwhile, deep beneath Paris, Apocalypse stood before his enslaved geniuses.

03:17He demanded.

03:18Mind controlled and pale, Tony Stark replied flatly.

03:21I understand what you want, but I need to see the size of the problem.

03:24Apocalypse nodded.

03:25Then I will show you.

03:26He turned toward the shadows.

03:28Killgrave.

03:29The purple man grimaced.

03:30Apocalypse.

03:31I really don't like going down there.

03:33A single glare was enough.

03:35Killgrave began to sweat.

03:36But, of course, I'll go.

03:39With that, the group stepped into a teleportation gate, descending to the center of the earth.

03:44There, surrounded by molten rock and eternal dark, the Unmaker lay dormant.

03:49The skeleton of Doctor Strange still rested on the floor, impaled and surrounded by his

03:53lingering wards.

03:54Don't touch Strange, warned Reed Richards.

03:57His body's gone, but his magic remains.

03:59They walked past him toward the open portal, the same one that unleashed the global blackout.

04:04So much power, murmured Reary Williams, enough to knock out an entire planet, coming from

04:09such a small rift.

04:11My hypothesis, said Reed, is that a neutron star lies inside, generating a constant electromagnetic

04:17pulse.

04:18That's a good theory, murmured Stark, his eyes dark with thought.

04:22We could poke our heads in to take a look, if we felt like being torn apart by gravitational

04:26forces stronger than a black hole.

04:29He turned to Apocalypse.

04:30How long do you need?

04:31Apocalypse approached the sleeping machine.

04:33I have studied the Unmaker for years.

04:35I have touched every part of its mind.

04:37He clenched his fist.

04:39To inhabit it, to command a power beyond celestials or gods, I would not need long.

04:44Minutes, perhaps an hour.

04:45He turned to the enslaved geniuses.

04:47I ask again, can it be done?

04:49Beast frowned.

04:50To contain the power of a neutron star for an hour, he trailed off, uneasy.

04:55But Tony Stark, his face twisting into a mad smile, interrupted.

04:59It's impossible, he said quietly.

05:01Then his grin widened.

05:03But I've never been afraid of a challenge.
