00:00After Apocalypse kidnapped Tony Stark, the council in Wakanda debated how to approach his rescue without starting a war.

00:06While everyone was arguing about what to do, Black Panther finally spoke up.

00:11He had an idea. Quicksilver.

00:13Quicksilver ran at full speed through Apocalypse's defense systems, reaching the dome in an instant.

00:18But there, he discovered something horrifying.

00:20He looked into the distance, seeing the electromagnetic field of energy being extracted from Magneto's body.

00:26Father, he screamed, running at full speed, trying to avoid Reed's elongated hands.

00:32Pietro, murmured Magneto, looking at his son desperately trying to reach him.

00:36But Magneto wasn't calling for help. He was trying to warn him not to come closer.

00:40It was too late. Bang!

00:42A violent shock of energy blasted outward, repelling Quicksilver instantly and sending him crashing to the floor, electrocuted.

00:50Apocalypse stood silently, smiling faintly.

00:53Your defenses work well, Octavius, said Apocalypse.

00:56Thank you, replied Otto, smiling unpleasantly.

00:59Should we lock him away with the others?

01:01No, said Apocalypse coldly.

01:03I have a better idea.

01:05From the shadows, the purple man, Kilgrave, stepped forward, grinning diabolically as he looked at the unconscious Pietro.

01:12Back in Wakanda, Quicksilver returned to report what he had seen.

01:16T'Challa, he said, bowing slightly.

01:18Quicksilver, what have you learned? asked Black Panther.

01:21But Pietro stayed quiet. Something was wrong.

01:24Within seconds, everyone felt it. The bloodlust radiating from Quicksilver.

01:28Something isn't right, screamed one of the Dora Milaje guards.

01:32Jean Grey's voice trembled.

01:34His mind. There's something there.

01:36Peter's spider sense went wild.

01:38Look out, he shouted.

01:40Quicksilver accelerated at full speed, snapping the Dora Milaje guard's neck and grabbing her lance.

01:45Spider-Man tried to stop him, firing webs.

01:48But Quicksilver was too fast. Johnny tried to help.

01:51But before he could even begin to ignite, something terrible happened.

01:54Quicksilver impaled Johnny's storm through the back at full speed.

01:58Sue's voice broke with terror.

02:00Johnny looked back at her. Sadness in his eyes.

02:02He knew it was over.

02:04Now Quicksilver focused his attack on the rest of the room.

02:07But Jean Grey was ready.

02:08Sleep, she said.

02:09And in an instant, she shut down Quicksilver's brain, dropping him unconscious to the floor.

02:14But the danger wasn't over. Johnny, now losing his life, was also losing control of his flames.

02:19The temperature was rising dangerously.

02:21Sue rushed toward him.

02:23Sue! I can't control it. You have to get away. Run!

02:26No, I'm not going anywhere, said Sue, holding his face.

02:29I'm not leaving you.

02:30In that instant, Johnny burned away.

02:32A massive explosion tore through Wakanda's council corridors.

02:36Sue threw up a force field to protect everyone else.

02:38But she could only focus on what was in her hands.

02:41Johnny's ashes.

02:42Her heart shattered completely as the wind carried the rest of them away.

02:46Hours later, Pietro finally woke up.

02:48He explained, his voice shaking.

02:50I felt everything my body was doing.

02:51But all I could see was him.

02:53The purple man.

02:54He turned to his left, meeting Sue's broken gaze.

02:57Sue, I'm sorry.

02:58Jessica stepped forward.

02:59It's not your fault.

03:01That's what Kilgrave does.

03:02I know what it's like to have that kind of poison in your head.

03:05Black Panther's tone was sharp.

03:08Quicksilver looked up, remembering.

03:09They have a pyramid full of electricity.

03:12Sue stood up abruptly.

03:14They have my father trapped in the middle of it, continued Pietro.

03:18Shuri chimed in thoughtfully.

03:20If I were trying to build a Faraday cage against the EMP, and I was an actual monster,

03:24that's exactly how I'd do it.

03:26T'Challa's expression hardened.

03:27Did you see Stark?

03:29I did, said Pietro.

03:30They were working on something.

03:31And not just Tony.

03:33Hank McCoy.

03:33Dr. Octavius.

03:35Riri Williams.

03:36And he hesitated for a moment.

03:37Reed Richards.

03:38Sue froze.

03:40She said, her voice breaking.

03:41Pietro looked at her solemnly.

03:44He's working for Apocalypse.

03:45Sue's expression turned from disbelief to rage.

03:48She slammed her chair back and stood up, storming out of the chamber.

03:52Jessica Jones reached for her arm, but couldn't stop her.

03:55Meanwhile, back in Europe, Apocalypse stood silently, surveying the horizon.

04:00They'll be coming, he murmured, his tone calm but certain.

04:03Then he looked up at the massive pyramid.

04:05They'll try to stop us.

04:06A terrifying voice answered from the shadows.

04:08They will not succeed.

04:10Apocalypse smiled faintly.

04:12Are the three of you ready?

04:13From the darkness emerged Miles Morales, now host to both Venom and Carnage, his body pulsing

04:19with the symbiote's power.

04:21Oh yes, he hissed.
