Looking ahead to the T20 World Cup, next year.

Where Two-time champions West Indies open their campaign against Bangladesh at the iconic Eden Gardens next February.

The men in maroon have been drawn in Group C, a challenging pool that also features England.

00:11Come 2026, that being a decade later, the West Indies will be meeting England in the early stages,
00:18Group C to be more precise.
00:22Completing that group will be Bangladesh, Nepal and Italy.
00:26Speaking of which, the very same venue where Darren Sami and his men lifted their second T20 World Cup trophy,
00:32the Eden Gardens, is where the Windies open their campaign.
00:36They play the Bangladeshi Tigers on February 7th, that being the opening day.
00:41The rest of Group C matches for the West Indies are as follows.
00:45Versus England on February 11th at the Wangke Day in Mumbai.
00:49Then they play Nepal on February 15th, also at the same venue.
00:53And it's back to the Eden Gardens on February 19th, where the Caribbean cricketers face the Italians.
01:00The final is on March 8th and will only take place in Ahmedabad if Pakistan do not qualify.
01:07But if otherwise, it will be shifted to Colombo.
01:10Looking at the other groups, Group A comprises India, Pakistan, USA, Netherlands and Namibia.
