02:37Please.
02:38You said it yourself, open and shut.
02:47That pint won't drink itself.
02:50Shouldn't there be more blood?
02:51Thinking the same thing.
02:54Maybe he was moved.
02:56There'd be drag marks.
02:59And nothing shows up with the luminol either.
03:02She's only a little bit of a thing.
03:04She couldn't have moved him.
03:05I did find a strand of hair on our boy here.
03:11Doesn't look like it matches either victim.
03:14You run it for DNA?
03:15Yes, ma'am.

04:14Okay, everyone.
04:16But...
04:17What the hell is going on now here it's so much trouble how
04:47do you take your tea it isn't horrific you know which is a miracle you have any clue what I went
04:54through last night we are aware of the situation I'm sorry about the girl I understand the two of
04:59you connected yeah just like you planned it no it was a surprise to us Kevis Papadorus was not one
05:05of ours then who was she don't tell me you don't know she was a witch a what she belonged to a very
05:14old coven in st john's wood regents canal they're having a wake for her this evening they like to
05:19keep an eye on us presumably that's what Papadorus was doing her particular gift was seduction and
05:25extraction drawing people to her in order to gain information so tell us everything you told her
05:31I didn't tell her anything we didn't talk much oh you just hit it and quit it huh you're a real
05:35class act sit down guy I found her hanging understand me and that Archie guy that guy
05:44you made me follow his throat ripped wide open and I wouldn't have been there to see any of it
05:49no Jesus fucking Christ I might be a suspect no guy your tracks are covered oh yeah
05:54then you'll just what huh you just sweep it away you forget it even happened well I can't forget do
06:05you understand her face was blue and it was like she was looking at me now you better read me in
06:16right now why am I here why are you here what is this all about can you give us some privacy
06:30something very important has gone missing it doesn't have an official name we refer to it as the 752
06:52I feel like I've like I've blown this right and he looks at me in the eyes he says that took real
07:04bollocks doing what you did speaking truth to a superior so Owen's calling it a promotion
07:09that's to call it what it is mate I'm gonna be a director's affiliate I didn't know there was a
07:15mother-ass in Jakarta yeah well you could block up the Thames with what you don't know Robbie boy
07:19it's part of a an advanced team there's a bit of a mortal problem there yeah you need to start
07:29gathering intelligence full house up and running within a year up and stumbling with you at the
07:34tip of the sword I'm gonna give you one more pint one more pint yeah come on let's have another pint
07:41patting the head is considered an evil omen by the inhabitants of Jakarta
07:55the central library contained everything the telemasker had learned in our first thousand some years
08:16since our founding in can you guess 752 AD every treatise every folder every file genealogies animosities
08:28aliases whereabouts scandals spells more than a millennium of knowledge went up in smoke unless it didn't
08:35unless someone managed to create a backup a backup of an entire library that's what the 752 is a codex an
08:47atlas a single volume that contains all of the telemasker's accumulated knowledge created in secret
08:54by a rogue faction of our leadership and then hidden away wait a minute so you're saying that everything in
08:59this massive library is now in this one book it sounds far-fetched I know but 40 years ago no one
09:07could have contemplated the internet people have different theories some people think it's a code or a
09:15map some say it's microfiche that was state-of-the-art in the 70s some people think it's an enchanted object
09:24like pandora's box and some well some people think the whole thing is a myth but not you
09:30knowledge is the only leverage we have over the immortals if the 752 does exist it's the ultimate
09:37piece of leverage for us if we have it for somebody else if you don't the telemasker may well be
09:43destroyed if the book should fall into the wrong hands and life would never be the same again
09:47for everyone mortal and immortal alike okay what the hell happened last night we have reason to
09:55believe the book is in london archie's arrival is only the latest piece of evidence to bolster that
10:00theory a girl is dead now what does this have to do with kevis archie's been on the trail of the 752
10:04for over a year someone or something led him to her why
10:09who was archie we think he was here on a contract from a fringe element in the london mother house
10:18so did archie kill kevis or did somebody else kill both of them i don't know
10:22we need you giving your connection to the girl to pursue the answer to that part of the puzzle
10:29she was a target maybe because she has something that we're after for example yes okay let me get
10:36this straight so kevis yes who's good at getting information out of people is dead archie's got
10:42a real knack for getting intel he's also dead and here i am with the same set of skills and you want
10:46me to go poking around the same zip code you are very gifted guys stop saying that
10:51okay
11:01say you get your hands on this book this thing what do you do with it keep it from those who might use it
11:10to hurt people
11:11no ulterior motives
11:15i suppose one can't rule out the possibility that we all have ulterior motives guy
11:21so
11:30so what the hell was that at the club the other night trust me you enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than i did
11:35i'm your handler i was handling you if you were so worried about what i tell kevis how come you
11:41didn't warn me look i didn't know what her angle was thought we might as well play out the hand
11:46well i guess she lost hey look i didn't know that she was gonna get killed okay
11:56guessing helen gave you her whole song and dance about the 752
11:59what you don't believe it exists most people don't look she knows things that i don't
12:06and she's read into things i'm not so it's not that i'm second guessing her it's
12:10well it kind of sounds like you are
12:14she's got a bug up her ass about it that's all
12:17she's acting a little i don't know untethered i'm obviously in excellent hands hey look
12:26that book doesn't exist and the library burned to the ground with all that information
12:31how does the telemask still wield so much power we're talking about a way of life that's existed
12:36almost unchanged for centuries with individuals who will have very very long memories
12:46if you want someone to believe a lie all you have to do is tell it to them over and over
12:51i'm sorry i'm actually back this way
13:06i'll be in touch get some sleep yeah that's what i'm gonna do it's exactly what i'm gonna do
13:21i'm gonna do it
13:30so
13:33Let's go.
14:03Look.
14:33Let's go.
15:03Hello?
15:07Guy.
15:09Yes?
15:10Just want to make sure everything's okay.
15:26Mr. Osterhaus, uh...
15:28Family comes first, yeah?
15:30You know, take whatever time you need.
15:32Oh, yes.
15:33Thank you for, um, for calling.
15:36Uh, very kind of you.
15:38Look, if there's anything else going on...
15:42Money is an issue, or if you want to talk about how we can make this job the best fit, you reach out.
15:48You're real important to us.
15:51Um, no, I...
15:52I really appreciate you calling and giving me a lot to think about.
15:54Call me any time.
15:55Okay, thank you.
15:56Yeah.
15:57How are you?
15:58Oh.
15:59Oh.
16:00Oh, no.
16:01Oh, no...
16:02This is you.
16:03Oh, no.
16:04That's a...
16:05Oh, no.
16:06Oh.
16:07Oh, no.
16:08She was...
16:09Oh, no.
16:10Oh, no.
16:11To help you with something?
16:38I was a friend.
16:39Canvases.
16:41Never seen you before?
16:43A recent friend.
16:47I'm sorry.
16:52I didn't mean to intrude.
16:54You can show your respects if you like.
16:56Who is this?
17:06Who is this?
17:07Who is this?
17:08A stranger.
17:09Who is this then?
17:10He knew Kevis.
17:11A friend.
17:12Her type of friend, all right.
17:15How did you meet?
17:17At a bar.
17:18Right.
17:19Like I said.
17:20Whoosh.
17:21Hard to believe she's gone.
17:35This is, um, this is obviously a, uh, a family thing.
17:50I'll just...
18:12Hey.
18:14Guy.
18:17I'm Doris.
18:20She told me about you.
18:23She did.
18:28I just met her.
18:30She said you were a real catch.
18:32Yeah.
18:33Then again, she wasn't always the greatest judge of character.
18:43Come.
18:48You didn't know any better from here.
18:49It just looks like a nice happy party.
18:51Yeah.
18:52It's a nice party.
18:54Very pink party.
18:55What was her favorite color?
18:57Your neighbors find it strange.
19:02Our neighbors are mostly Romany.
19:04They don't seem to mind.
19:06What are you doing?
19:21Nothing.
19:22If you want to ask me something, just ask.
19:26Are you, uh, are they...
19:27What?
19:28Does it matter?
19:29I know what you are.
19:30I don't have to ask.
19:31You're a liar.
19:32I don't have to ask.
19:34You're a liar.
19:35You're a liar.
19:36You just met me, okay?
19:37You're Talamasker.
19:38That's why she was following you.
19:41She was our little spy.
19:43She doesn't usually...
19:46Didn't usually trust your ilk.
19:48None of us do.
19:49But she really did like you.
19:51Yeah, I liked her too.
19:53Okay?
19:54I thought she was, um...
19:56Authentic.
19:58Authentic?
20:01What?
20:03There's something that you say about a dusty old necklace at a garage sale.
20:09She was more than that.
20:11She was...
20:14She was fun.
20:19You're blushing.
20:23You're not cut out for this.
20:27Doris, wait.
20:28Kevis had this thing, this book in her backpack.
20:33A book?
20:34Yeah.
20:35This leather-bound book.
20:36Kind of strange looking.
20:37Yeah, her scrapbook.
20:41She just stuck old pictures in it.
20:43Memories, that sort of thing.
20:44Yeah, well, does she always carry it around with her?
20:46Always?
20:47I just...
20:48I think...
20:51Someone was after it.
20:52And I think Kevis got caught up in the middle of it.
20:55And the benevolent Talamaskers are gonna come solve the case
20:58and give poor Kevis the justice she deserves.
21:01They can't be trusted, Guy.
21:04Do you hear me?
21:05You can't trust them.
21:07Just look at what happened to Soledad Marcel.
21:12Who the hell is Soledad Marcel?
21:37What does that mean?
21:39I think that is one of the most famous things that I did.
21:42Loose it.
21:43The woman is dead ЯгоГ free to solve them,
21:44but don't give a doubt about it.
21:46But if she gets rid of some things with other people.
21:49You don't see them atоль for.
21:50Once her just keeps on doing it with a cure,
21:52she'll use it to tell you that...
21:55Like Marcus is a human to die.
21:57It's beautiful.
21:58I kiss my god.
22:00I don't even know.
22:03Ladies and gentlemen have been attacking him.
23:07You've had our signals team on overtime for six weeks.
23:11Our field agents are run ragged.
23:14Davidson's been on that stakeout in Knightsbridge for a month and doesn't even know why.
23:19And I hear you've dispatched checkers to Jakarta.
23:22You've commandeered the resources of this house for a wild goose chase.
23:26Morale's low.
23:27My whole team is uneasy.
23:29And now the police are investigating Archie's death.
23:32I'm afraid Amsterdam won't tolerate much more.
23:36Hmm.
23:38Because I thought Amsterdam lets each motherhouse operate independently.
23:42To a point, yes.
23:43But when they come down, they come down hard.
23:46You enjoy looking over your shoulder?
23:49Waiting for Amsterdam to come finger fuck you?
23:54Because I don't think they should have that much power.
23:58Is that what this is really all about?
24:00Power?
24:02Depends.
24:03I mean, from your perspective, this is really all about cancer.
24:09Right?
24:17Immortality can be tricky, but mortality's a...
24:22It's a real son of a bitch.
24:26Oh, and, um...
24:29It's not a wild goose chase.
24:32Why do you think Archie was killed?
24:35We're close.
24:36That's why.
24:38The book is here, in London.
24:41And we're not the only ones who want it.
24:43But we've got to stay strong.
25:03No cold feet.
25:05No wetting the bed about Amsterdam.
25:08Look at me.
25:09And no whining about your staff.
25:11Yeah?
25:26Data, boy.
25:27Chemo ain't gonna fix that, my friend.
25:30And hey, checkers, I mean...
25:32Maybe he'll love Jakarta.
25:41How's it going?
26:07Well, I'm playing Where's Wally with the entire city of London, so...
26:12Honest labor builds character.
26:15Also fucks my plans for the evening.
26:18Big date.
26:21Why are we still digging on this?
26:24I thought it was all wrapped up. Murder, suicide.
26:27Call it due diligence.
26:32Bridge, need your signature on something.
26:35I'm busy. I'll do it later.
26:37I think you need to come do it now.
26:42Okay.
26:44Hello, Ms... Agent Wakefield.
26:48MI5, Ridge.
26:50I understand you've taken an interest in my case.
26:53Would you like to come through to my office?
26:55She just needs you to sign out the autopsy photos from the murder suing.
26:59And might I ask why you'd need those photos?
27:02Well, you might ask all you like.
27:04Afraid I can't give you any answers, though.
27:09I was at the scene myself. I'm sure I could offer some insight and...
27:12Just your signature. Thank you.
27:18Sorry. May I see your credentials?
27:21Already done, Ridge. She checks out.
27:24Should I call Detective Huff?
27:28No. No.
27:30It's quite alright.
27:33Great.
27:35Thank you for your service.
27:45MI5. More like MI10.
27:47Print me out a copy of those photos.
27:49Hm?
27:50Now.
28:06You're making a big mistake here.
28:07I've got a second cousin who works at the Metropolitan Police.
28:10He's pretty high up. Do you know why?
28:11Because he's a Nata bastard.
28:14No mercy at all.
28:15Did you hear me?
28:17I'll come for you.
28:19You and that freaky yank psycho.
28:21Okay.
28:38Okay.
28:39Okay.
28:40We can work something out.
28:41You and I.
28:42Can't we?
28:43Um...
28:44Uh...
28:45What do you...
28:46What do you like?
28:47What do you like?
28:48Uh...
28:49Drugs?
28:50Uh...
28:51Girls?
28:52Girls?
28:53I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I can get you anything.
28:54Anything.
28:57Anything.
29:01Don't do this.
29:03Please don't do this.
29:05Don't kill me, please.
29:06Oh, I'm not gonna kill you.
29:08No.
29:18No.
29:32Agh.
29:33Water. Water. Water, please.
29:48Drink up.
29:54There you go.
30:03Now comes the hard part.
30:21I'm going to take it.
30:27Water.
30:33Water.
30:43Water.
30:47Water.
30:48Water.
32:52You told me you could learn a lot about somebody by following them, but fuck if I know what you're doing in this place.
33:08What are you doing here?
33:10How did you find me?
33:12I picked you up outside your flat and I followed you.
33:15My flat?
33:16How did you...
33:16I clocked a black car out the front of Porky's, so I ditched Olive, I doubled back, and I waited for you to come out.
33:23I flagged a cab and I tailed you.
33:25Of course, you gave the driver the wrong address, because I ended up at a tea shop on Camden Lane, and you must have slipped out the back door, because that's where I lost you.
33:35So, I cased the neighborhood, until I found the blandest-looking storefront with a flat above it, and the blinds pulled shut.
33:45And voila.
33:50I'm actually impressed.
33:54You gave me books to read on Spycraft. I read them. We like books.
33:57And what do they say about following protocol? We contact you. That's how it works.
34:02What the hell is this place?
34:04It's a telemasker facility, or it was. Top secret one.
34:16This seems like a charming spot. Lots of good vibes. What'd they used to do here? Torture puppies?
34:22They started marking me when I was a child, just like you. Only they didn't just keep tabs on me. They took me in when I was eight years old.
34:31They took you in?
34:33Brought me to live here. Your parents just let you go?
34:37They didn't have much say in the matter.
34:40What did the telemasker want with you at that age?
34:43They brought me here for testing. There were about 20 of us.
34:52I wanted to see what my mind could do if I had any special abilities.
35:02Memory, mathematics, intuition.
35:05It was all part of some hush-hush program.
35:10What kind of program?
35:12I never found out.
35:13Whatever they were looking for, I don't think I had much of it.
35:22Eventually they sent me to the States.
35:25Cambridge, Massachusetts. My uncle took me in.
35:43I was only here a couple of years. Others stayed much longer.
35:52So, the telemasker makes you into a human guinea pig.
36:10And you think to yourself, that's who I want to work for when I grow up.
36:15when I grow up.
36:27They gave me a life when I had nothing.
36:31A week before I came here,
36:32both my parents died instantly
36:34when our Vauxhall hit a telephone pole.
36:36My father was driving, he liked to drink.
36:39I guess like my mom liked to shoot drugs, right?
36:43Missed the part where you tell me
36:44that we're not so different after all.
36:46Children from broken homes make outstanding spies.
36:49We're good at keeping secrets.
36:51Don't easily trust people.
36:53Especially those that lie to us over and over again.
37:00What do you want, Guy? Why did you follow me?
37:02The truth, all of it.
37:04The truth?
37:06Very well.
37:15The London Mother House has been infiltrated.
37:18Gregory Owen, its top man, has been turned.
37:21He's taking orders from a vampire named Jasper,
37:24who we believe is making use of the Talamasker's personnel
37:27and resources to search for the 752.
37:30We fear he's close to finding it.
37:32That's why we brought you in so quickly.
37:34But given the incidence of the past few days,
37:36we need you to move faster, to get closer.
37:39We need you in the Mother House.
37:41And how do I do that?
37:42You knock on the door.
37:43Or just like that?
37:45You're smart guy and intuitive.
37:47I could give you a plan,
37:48but whatever you come up with in the moment
37:50will work far better, I guarantee it.
37:51You're setting me up.
37:53Soledad Marcel.
37:57Just another dead girl, right?
38:00The sucker before me got killed.
38:02Don't you think that maybe you could have told me about that?
38:04Giving you too much information could put you at greater risk.
38:07Oh.
38:08Really?
38:09So...
38:10So you were protecting me?
38:11Yes.
38:12What else are you protecting me from?
38:14What do you know about my mom?
38:16Because I know she's still alive,
38:18and I know she was Telemasca.
38:20You don't know anything.
38:21You think you do, but you don't.
38:22So enlighten me!
38:23What does my mother have to do with the 752?
38:26Because I know there's a connection,
38:27and I know that is the reason why I'm here.
38:29Your mother did a very bad thing.
38:31We lost her.
38:32Oh, fuck off!
38:33She's a fugitive.
38:34The Telemasca has been looking for her for years.
38:36Why? What does she do?
38:37Guy, the more I tell you, the more danger you're in.
38:40Bullshit!
38:42I'm bait on a line.
38:44That's it.
38:45That is what you're doing.
38:46You're trying to lure her out.
38:48That is the whole reason you've recruited me.
38:50It's a lot more complicated than that, Guy.
38:52Yeah, I'm sure it is, Helen.
38:53That's not even your real name, is it?
38:55Of course it isn't.
38:56Jesus Christ!
38:58I'm done, okay?
39:00I'm done.
39:01I'm going back to New York,
39:02and I'm taking that job at Cabot.
39:03I'm sorry, Guy.
39:05But that's not an option that's available to you.
39:07Not anymore.
39:08Not an option that's available to me?
39:11So say I leave right now.
39:13Never come back.
39:15What happens?
39:16I really wouldn't do that if I were you.
39:20What I'm tasking you with is critical,
39:22and we don't have much time.
39:24Go to the mother house.
39:26Use your training.
39:27Get to Jasper,
39:29and find out how close he is to getting the 752.
39:35I really hope all this is worth it for you.
39:37I really hope all this is worth it for you.
40:05This is your man.
40:10This bloke shows up in all the footage of Archie.
40:14Here he is again.
40:17Poor bastard never knew he was being tailed.
40:21So much for murder-suicide.
40:33So who is this mystery man?
40:37It is rather peaceful, isn't it?
40:54Yeah.
40:55It can be.
40:56I suppose it depends.
40:58So, in my line of work,
41:01when there's an incident like this,
41:04we do what's called a profile.
41:05It's like a story.
41:06Yeah, I know what a profile is.
41:08Of course you do, yeah.
41:10Is everything all right?
41:13Yeah.
41:16Who are you all, anyway?
41:19Just friends.
41:21All living together on a houseboat.
41:23Bit unusual, don't you think?
41:25Are you married?
41:28No.
41:30Do you live alone?
41:32Yeah.
41:33Happy with that?
41:35If it's unusual, maybe the problem is with what's usual.
41:40Look, I understand that this is a hard time.
41:43And I know you two are close.
41:46But I could use your help.
41:49Because Kevis doesn't strike me as a kind of young woman
41:52who'd hurt herself.
41:53Doesn't feel like her story.
41:54And if it isn't,
41:55it'd be a shame if that's how it's told.
42:02Take a look at this.
42:05We don't have a clear shot of his face.
42:07But have you seen these trainers?
42:10No.
42:12No, I've never seen them before.
42:13Yeah.
42:17No, I'm bringing them to sleep.
42:19Promised.
42:20Yeah.
42:22Never feeling free,
42:24No thing we umbrella you love.
42:25But you would love being dead.
42:27No, not 75%.
42:28But our relationship,
42:31no one is Bill.
42:38We live here,
42:40by the way we live here.
43:11I'm afraid I have no idea what you're going on about.
43:25How long are we going to keep this up?
43:27I am the man in charge.
43:29Do you understand?
43:30You are speaking to that man.
43:32That man that hired Archie to hang a woman and killed him off to keep him quiet?
43:37Don't worry, Owen.
43:38I know it wasn't you.
43:41You listening up there?
43:45I know you are.
43:46I can feel it.
43:48You want me to go to the cops?
43:51Big old double murder.
43:53I bet they'd love to have a solid lead.
43:56You want them crawling all over this place?
43:59You want me to give them your name, Jasper?
44:02That's right.
44:03I know your fucking name, man.
44:06Well, I'm sure our evening security guard will be very flattered by your...
44:09You want me to go to the cops?
44:12The cops, huh?
44:40Please, don't.
44:42You'll have to excuse Owen, he's a very sick man, the big C. But, we have this little
44:49arrangement that should fix all that.
44:53Eventually, you know, if he keeps playing ball.
44:58What are you doing here?
45:03I came here to meet you.
45:04Okay, now we've met.
45:05What else?
45:07I'm Talamaska.
45:09They recruited me in New York just a few weeks ago, though.
45:12They've been watching me for a lot longer.
45:17They brought me over here because there was a problem at the London Mother House.
45:20That's how they put it.
45:21They had me tail Archie.
45:22I saw what he did to the witch and what somebody did to him.
45:25Maybe that someone's you.
45:26I don't know.
45:27No, no, I can assure you that's not me.
45:29I found them both.
45:33Blood everywhere kept us hanging.
45:37And they said I had to get closer to you.
45:39Knock on your door like I just did.
45:42Insinuate myself.
45:44Get a job here, maybe.
45:45Find a way to get your attention.
45:49So do I have your attention?
45:56Why are you telling me all this?
45:58Because they lied to me.
46:00Over and over.
46:02Soledad, Marcel, they didn't tell me what happened to her, but I found out.
46:07They think that they can send me in here to be their patsy like she was.
46:13They think that I'm expendable just like her.
46:14They think that I'll just take it, but I won't do that.
46:19They think I'm their boy, but I'm not their fucking boy.
46:24They stole my life.
46:27They took my mother.
46:29I thought she was dead all my life since I was a kid, but she wasn't dead.
46:34She was telling Mouska, they knew and they didn't tell me.
46:41She, Helen, she knew and she didn't tell me.
46:50She used me, the kid.
46:53No family, no friends.
46:57She offered me a chance to belong, to be a part of something, to be a part of a family.
47:01That's how she put it, and it's all bullshit.
47:10She ruined my life.
47:13They ruined my life.
47:15I'm done with this.
47:23I'm gonna go because you don't seem very interested.
47:32You haven't told me what you want.
47:36To make them pay for what they did to me, to my mom.
47:44And how exactly do you propose to make them pay?
47:48The book.
47:50The book?
47:51The 752.
47:54I saw it with my own eyes.
48:00It was in the witch's backpack.
48:01She had the goddamn thing.
48:07So you know what it looks like, and I know who has it, because I know who killed Archie.
48:16You and I could have some fun together after all.
48:22Well, I'll be in touch.
48:24Oh no, I can't let you go out into the streets at this time of night.
48:28Not in this fucking neighborhood.
48:35Stay.
48:36I really should be going.
48:37I insist.
48:38You are watching the other few ridiculous places.
48:48They want you to race.
48:49Now in the house.
48:52I miss you.
49:00I miss you.
49:06see the punctures vampire bite that's who killed archie and it's who took the book
49:19my sister is all i have i've done everything in my power to find her what the hell have
49:24you gotten yourself mixed up in what the hell is that
49:27showtime kid
49:35the london mother house has been infiltrated gregory owen its top man has been turned
49:46he's taking aldress from a vampire named jasper
49:54ava sorok who is the director of that episode really wanted us to come in hot
50:02and really showed that he doesn't belong here and the telemasket is not to be trusted
50:11sit down guy i found her hanging ellen is prepared to just let him get stuff off his chest
50:16that archie guy that guy is probably wide open but then remind him about the deeper agenda
50:23if the 752 does exist it's the ultimate piece of leverage for us if we have it
50:28for somebody else if you don't he doesn't care what she's got to offer he's jumping
50:33so what the hell was that in the club the other night
50:35turns out that all of us is direct handler for lacking
50:39i didn't know that she was gonna get killed okay
50:42after kevis's death the natural place for guy to go is to this week
50:47in episode three we get our first real look at the witch's coven on the houseboat and how they
51:00take over that little portion of the canal
51:03peter walpole was our amazing production designer and his team created the houseboat kind of from scratch
51:10what a crazy life it is when you can have the weird idea by yourself in a room
51:15and you go this will never work and then you there you are and you go wow somebody actually
51:19took me seriously and went beyond what i even hoped for
51:22it was just this beautiful set that came together and fit into those surroundings in a way that i think
51:28gives our show some real richness and is not what you necessarily expect when you think about
51:32witches so it was freezing freezing freezing cold and it was my first day of filming
51:38all of the sequences at the maid of our coven with the witches are spectacular
51:43guy gets to meet doris she's in mourning for her best friend kevis and we're going to find out a
51:48whole lot more about that relationship i'm hansha i'm doris she told me about you
51:55at the beginning part of doris wants nothing to do with him because that could be dangerous for
52:00her i know where you are i don't have to ask just madly okay the telemasker another part of her
52:05sees that he's fundamentally a good person and that he's going to get himself killed and maybe
52:10there's a part of her that thinks i wasn't able to save kevis but maybe i can save guy
52:14you're not cut out for this
52:16the fact that helen sends guy into the clutches of jasper even after this door has been opened and
52:32they're on this journey of intimacy together is indicative that helen is a damaged person
52:38to say i leave right now never come back i really wouldn't do that if i were you
52:44helen says you figure it out whatever you come up with whatever story you give will be far better
52:51than what i could possibly script for you
52:53jasper listens to everyone what are you doing here i came here to meet you okay now we've met
53:05what else does he believe them i'm telemasker he might he might not but it doesn't matter
53:13and they said i had to get closer to you knock on your door like i just did
53:16he's like i got nothing else left here so i'm gonna put all my cards on the table
53:21take him if you want him i'd be told to come here by helen and i'm telling you just that
53:25why are you telling me all this let him keep going i'll figure out where they're gonna fit into my
53:30world you and i could have some fun together after all because everything is about what jasper
53:34wants to get i really should be going
53:37bill figner plays jasper he's so insanely charismatic that you just can't help but fall in love with him
53:45i wouldn't say smitten is the right word but i think that jasper really kind of likes this guy
54:07so
54:15you
54:21you
