00:18said Hamza had the unique ability of bridging the more technocratic Bersatu with the Islamic past

00:31leader would spark greater infighting at a time when several state elections are set to be held.

00:37A viral letter had called for Hamza's removal as Bersatu deputy president and leader of the

00:42opposition in the Dewan Rakyat, claiming he was behind moves that undermined the party leadership.

00:48The letter also proposed that Bersatu vice president and Putra Jaya MP Ratsi Jidin take
