00:00A DAP leader today said that Bersatu President Muhyiddin Yassin was simply facing the consequences

00:08of his previous political maneuvers following moves from within his own party to topple him.

00:19statutory declarations calling for Muhyiddin to step down should come as no surprise.

00:24The Johor DAP deputy chairman cited the Sheraton move in 2020 and accused Muhyiddin of stabbing

00:30his PH allies in the back, saying it was unrealistic for him to now expect loyalty from his Bersatu

00:36colleagues.

00:37Bersatu's annual general assembly over the weekend was marked by open dissent.

00:41A poison pen letter surfaced ahead of the event, 122 of 169 division chiefs broke ranks to attend

00:48a separate lunch, and Muhyiddin was heckled with calls to resign during his keynote speech.

00:53The former prime minister also disclosed in his address that some had been collecting signatures

00:58to oust him.
