00:00An UMNO leader has mocked the political marriage between former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

00:06and Perikatan Nasional Chairman Muhyiddin Yassin, calling it insincere.

00:11UMNO Supreme Council Member Pua Zakashi claimed that the new Ikatan Prihatin Rakyat Alliance led by Muhyiddin

00:16and the Secretariat Orang Melayu under Mahathir showed that the two were not truly united despite their agreement to cooperate.

00:23In a Facebook post, he questioned why IPR and the Secretariat Orang Melayu were formed when PN already exists.

00:31The Secretariat Orang Melayu, founded by Mahathir in June, seeks to unite Malay-based parties under one umbrella

00:37to restore Malay political power and address community issues,

00:41with recent talks involving Muhyiddin and past president Abdu'l-Hadi Awang.

00:46A coalition of 11 opposition parties led by Muhyiddin also formed IPR, a loose coalition in August,

00:52to champion public issues the government allegedly failed to address, including unfulfilled reform promises.

00:59Pua said the move reflected the fragility of unity among the opposition, as too many leaders were competing for dominance.
