We've learned quickly that Zach Top and ERNEST are both unquestionably talented, and unrelentingly hilarious. Somehow that collided backstage with Katie Neal at the 59th Annual CMA Awards, and result is something you simply must listen to.

00:00We've got Zach Top and we have Ernest. Zach Bottom. Yes. Good to see y'all. We're off to a great start. I kind of just want to let you guys interview each other. Oh, it's dangerous. What do you want to ask Zach right now? I think you should drive this boat. It could get off the rails. Besides how you're doing, I got nothing. Okay. I have a good one. So Zach's up for five awards at the CMAs. There's a pretty good chance you're probably going to have to give an acceptance speech. And I want to know if your team sat you down to talk about.
00:28Are you going to say something insane? No, I think they've learned. Probably. I don't know. There's no preparation for guys who just talk out of their neck. You can kind of just hope for the best. I have a little bullet list of people I can't forget to thank. But outside of that, we're going to let the spirit lead me in. Are you going to keep it clean? You should take the jelly roll approach and just go Southcraft as preacher. We're reviving this thing. I'm going all the way, baby. We're talking up tonight, baby.
00:57Let's go full jelly. That would be good. That was a phenomenal jelly roll impression. I didn't know you had that in here.
01:03Yeah, pretty good jelly on me. What other impressions can you do that we don't know about?
01:07Dang it, Bobby, if you weren't my son, I'd hug you.
01:09Yeah. That's good. Oh, boy. Hi, Minnie. We could go Mickey if you need to. You got Droopy the dog.
01:16That makes me mad. You do that. This is incredible. I have no idea. There's a word for what I am.
01:22I got nothing. Nothing? I did a Ray Charles impression just a minute ago. I can do that a little.
01:29Here, let me see. He took it to a dark place.
01:36I was thinking, America. Oh, I'm talking about America.
01:42You got to do that. Yeah.
01:43You got to get all of it.
01:45I shed his face on me.
01:47Yeah. Oh, it's too good.
01:49I don't even know where to go from there. There's nowhere to go from here.
01:52Honestly. I told you, it goes off the rails quickly when we are around.
01:55Very, very quickly. Oh, my God.
01:58It goes to losers from here is where it goes.
01:59Yeah, exactly.
02:00Did you start there, maybe?
02:02Straight from here.
02:02Probably.
02:03Yeah.
02:04Speak for myself.
02:05Yeah.
02:06Yes.
02:07All right, what are we wearing on the red carpet, boys?
02:09What I'm wearing right now. This is my red carpet.
02:11You're just going to sleep in this?
02:12You're going to wear a black suit?
02:13I'm going something more low-cut on top and high-cut on bottom.
02:19Ooh.
02:20That's going to be cute.
02:20What do they call that?
02:21That's going to be hot.
02:22It's called showing some skin.
02:24It sounds like a hooter's outfit, maybe.
02:25It's called what the people want.
02:26Really hot.
02:27Yeah.
02:27Give them what they want.
02:28More leg from Zach Topp.
02:30Inspiration is hooters, for sure.
02:32Yes.
02:33More leg from Zach Topp.
02:33Hoot earns.
02:34Yeah, hoot earns, exactly.
02:36I can't even tell you the number of times we've made urn jokes about that.
02:40You can slap urn on anything with an ER on it.
02:43Pretty much.
02:43What's your favorite one?
02:46I would say musician.
02:48Musician?
02:49That is a nice one.
02:50Musician.
02:51I'd say that.
02:52You have had one of the best falls I've ever seen in all time.
02:55It was a good spring and summer, too, though.
02:56Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:57You did.
02:57You really.
03:00This man brings it every time.
03:02I really did not feel prepared for this interview.
03:05No, that fall didn't hurt.
03:07It looked like it hurt.
03:07It didn't hurt.
03:08I knew it was going viral before I hit the ground, and I would never try to.
03:12Well, you can kind of sense it as you're.
03:14Yeah.
03:14When my foot was here, I was thinking, YouTube.
03:17This is going to be huge.
03:18Just give into it.
03:19Country Central gave me a 7.3 on the landing, but we know it was a 9.
03:23Exactly.
03:25What's your worst fall?
03:26Have you had a bad one yet?
03:28I've had.
03:29I'll tell you, I had almost a really bad one, and my band was very concerned for me.
03:34I had a decent amount to drink before the show.
03:38It wasn't quite to the Hank Jr. five-time entertainer of the year, my own condition.
03:44It's a great condition.
03:46It is a great one.
03:47It makes for a great sound bit 20 years later.
03:49But I'll do this.
03:49So I'll go to, I got my boost pedal on my pedal board when I go to take a guitar solo,
03:55and when I get up on that one foot, if I've had something to drink, that starts to dog.
03:59And then I'm trying to catch the guitar solo, and I'm not that drunk.
04:03I'm just really bad at balancing.
04:04Cowboy boots is hard, too, once you start losing it with the heel.
04:07I know.
04:08It's bad.
04:09They don't have the support like a good sneaker, a little high-top sneaker.
04:12I almost had a fall two weeks ago, similar.
04:17I step away for the solo of Courtesy of Red, White, and Blue,
04:19and I'm coming back to the mic for Justice Will Be Served.
04:26And I kind of just was on the right side of my heel.
04:28And as I come up to the mic, I land right here, and I was afraid to take another step.
04:34So I got through the whole thing just kind of at an angle like that.
04:37I was like, just don't fall during this song.
04:39Yeah.
04:40Not this one.
04:40One of the dumbest things I'll do talking about coming back to the mic,
04:43I'll look back at if somebody else is taking it.
04:45So I'll look back, and then I too late realize I'm about to have to sing another verse.
04:50And like whip around and like hit my teeth.
04:52I'm going to knock a tooth out on the microphone.
04:54Yes.
04:54I have my left front tooth is still sore.
04:57No, I didn't chip.
04:58It felt like it did.
04:59It's loose, and it's still sore from this last weekend.
05:01Yes.
05:01It happens.
05:02Wow.
05:03Two athletes.
05:04Two.
05:04Big time.
05:05Two elite athletes.
05:06D-1 athletes.
