You know him as a horse trainer. Get to know him as a contender in the U.S. Senate race in Kentucky as Dale Romans joins us as the Gainesway Guest of the Week on the TDN Writers' Room.

00:00Welcome to now the Gaines Way Guest of the Week. It's Dale Romans. You know him as a horse trainer, but soon, if things break his way, you might know him as a United States Senator from the state of Kentucky.
00:09Well, I've been thinking, I've always wanted to run for something for a long time. You know how politically active I am on things, Zoe.
00:15And when this seat came up, I called the governor, which is a friend of mine, Annie Brashear, and I told him, what do you think about this? And he hesitated for a second. He got to thinking about it.
00:23He said, you know, it might make some sense. It's the kind of politicians we need in Washington. He said, I think that you should take a shot at it.
00:32Guest of the Week, Dale Romans, was brought to you by Gaines Way, home of the stallion Muth.
00:37Check out the demand for Muth's first in-full mayors at Kiendland November. In Book 1, he had a $450,000 in-full mayor, and he followed that with in-full mayors that brought $525,000 in Book 2
00:51and $310,000 in Book 3. So Muth is off to a fast start at stud, just like he was on the racetrack.
00:59He earned $1.6 million. He won the American Pharoah, who was a two-year-old, then the Arkansas Derby the next spring,
01:05which made him the only son of good magic to win grade ones at two and three, just like his sire.
01:12And Muth stands at Gaines Way for a fee of just $30,000.
01:17Gaines Way, power, passion, performance.
01:21Say hello to Muth!
01:24The single most important factor in predicting sire success is those who have consistent high-class form,
01:32and it's even enhanced if they have that form as two-year-olds as well.
01:36By our calculations, Muth has the number one chance of sire success of any of the 30 or so sires that
01:42retired to Kentucky in 2025. He has the credentials that we're looking for when we predict sire success.
