UST snaps 4-game skid in win vs UE, boosts Final 4 bid  University of Santo Tomas halted its 4-game skid after fending off University of the East, 109-97, at the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball second round action at the Mall of Asia Arena on Nov. 12, 2025. Nic Cabanero punched five of his 19 points to keep UST afloat and will the Espana-based team to a 6-5 slate to rise from a share of fourth with the 5-5 Ateneo de Manila in solo fourth. Collins Akowe finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds for the Growling Tigers who kept the Red Warriors winless at 0-12.
