00:00I think what is hugely important is that we have priority as our Labour government, which we do have and I think is underrun everything that we've done, is to make sure that we are delivering the public services that the public want to see and have trust in to deliver the kind of service that they want to have.
00:15Something that's hugely important for me, it's what motivated me to get involved in politics, to make sure that we have an NHS that has the funding it needs to deliver and I think we've seen successive cuts in waiting lists, so we've seen how putting that money to good use can have an impact on people's day-to-day experiences of those services.
00:30We've put extra money into education, so for example we've got free breakfast clubs that we've rolled out and there's three in my constituency and when I go around those and I see the differences that that is making to the lives of young people in my constituency, the impact it's having is huge.
00:46Of course people have got a right to expect that we keep a close eye on public spending and I know that we are doing, but I also think it's fundamental to this government that we are using our public services to make sure that we can deliver on our principles of fairness and giving opportunity.
01:00Thank you very much.
