00:00Hello, good afternoon. Welcome to your latest forecast from the Met Office.
00:04Second half of the weekend, a different weather picture for many of us after a foggy start.
00:09We've got outbreaks of rain pushing north and eastward, so in the next few days we're going to be dominated by low pressure.
00:15Further weather systems moving in from the Atlantic, bringing outbreaks of rain, but also some stronger winds at times too.
00:21But the wind's generally coming in from the south, so a mild direction for all.
00:25For the afternoon, we do have a band of rain slowly pushing north and eastwards across the country.
00:31The rain particularly heavy across western parts of England and Wales.
00:34A Met Office rain warning in force for the rest of the day across southern parts of Wales, some localised flooding possible here.
00:40But the rain heavy almost anywhere along this stretch, so there could be some local disruption at times.
00:46Either side of this band of rain, there are some drier spells, some sunshine in places, particularly Northern Ireland, northwest Scotland.
00:52Also, after a foggy start, some sunshine holding on across southeast England as well.
00:57But the wind's coming in from the south, fairly brisk, particularly around the coast, but it does mean temperatures once more above average.
01:0414 or 15 Celsius across England and Wales, 11 to 13 Celsius Scotland and Northern Ireland.
01:10So above average for the whole of the UK for this part of November.
01:15As we head into the evening time, some further spells of heavy rain pushing across southern England and Wales and then moving northwards into southern and eastern Scotland during the early hours.
01:25Bands of showers following on behind, staying fairly breezy as well.
01:30So it means for most of us a mild night to come once more.
01:33Despite some clear skies, temperatures generally in the range of 8 to 12 Celsius.
01:37Just something a little chillier across the highlands where we see the clearer skies.
01:42The mist and fog patches also possible here where winds fall light.
01:46So here, a sunny start to the day.
01:48Dry weather initially, but this rain across southern and eastern Scotland just slowly pushing its way northwards.
01:53Elsewhere, bands of showers pushing north and eastwards through the day.
01:57In between, some sunny spells.
01:58Some of the showers could be heavy at times and could lead to some local disruption as they pass through.
02:04So do take care if you are travelling, staying quite blustery, particularly around the coast of England and Wales too.
02:10Temperatures may be a degree down compared to the weekend.
02:13Generally 13, 14 Celsius.
02:15A little cooler in Northern Ireland than Scotland between 10 and 12 degrees during Monday afternoon.
02:21And those showers continue to push through into the evening time too.
02:25The outlook for the week ahead, it generally stays unsettled.
02:29We'll see showers, longer spells of rain, some brisk winds at times too.
02:33So it is worth staying up to date with the forecast as there could be some further disruption.
02:38But temperatures still above average, particularly England and Wales.
02:4114, 15, 16 Celsius possible.
02:44Just signs there of it turning a little colder across parts of Scotland come towards the end of the week.
