00:00And the story that Nicky had first, for sure, was that when the Giants blew that game to the Denver Broncos member,
00:07Denver had 33 points in the fourth quarter, came back and did the unthinkable,
00:11that John Maurer, the owner of the Giants, was prepared to fire Brian Dable literally when he got off the plane on their return to New York.
00:20And that was your story, right, Nicky?
00:23That's correct. Yes, that was mine.
00:26And walk me through the rest of the story.
00:29Once he was going to fire Brian Dable, based on your reporting, why did he not fire Brian Dable?
00:36So I was told that Chris Mara talked him out of it.
00:43And, you know, the big concern was Jackson Dart's development.
00:47And is this really a good time to fire Brian Dable?
00:52Because we don't kind of, you know, we don't want to upset the apple cart.
00:55So that is what I put out on Twitter X two days ago and then saw WFAN take it.
01:04And, you know, I don't know if they have the same sources.
01:08I have no idea.
01:10They claim they didn't see the story and maybe they didn't.
01:13I don't know.
01:14I mean, we've certainly interacted before.
01:16So that's what I was told.
01:19And I didn't see anybody else.
01:21Let me help you.
01:22Because here's the here's the thing that bothers me.
01:24Look, there are a lot of great reporters.
01:26There are a lot of people that have sources within the New York Giants and the Jets and every local team.
01:31So it's not impossible that if Nikki has a source that told her that same source might have told other people that they have relationships with.
01:37So I'm not suggesting it's not possible.
01:40It is clearly possible that someone who wants to get a story out there would tell multiple people or that multiple people inside an organization might have known and then told the people that they know.
01:50I want to be very clear about that.
01:51My problem with it is that when Nikki goes first and she clearly was first to report it.
01:58I know there's some people that just want to dismiss it as who the hell are you?
02:01You know, I've never heard of you before.
02:02You don't work for ESPN or the NFL.
02:04You're not an insider, you know, and they attack the report only because they're not familiar with Nikki.
02:10I think you dealt with some of that.
02:11Then, of course, is the animals that attack your appearance, which is beyond the pale for me, because what you look like has nothing to do with what the report was.
02:19But I'm sure you deal with that beyond covering football and all that kind of jazz because people are just jealous.
02:24But my problem with it was that there's no disputing that Nikki was first.
02:28So anyone else that comes after her that uses the my sources tell me 48 hours after she's already put it out there into the ether, it just doesn't jive with me because Nikki's your source.
02:44Right.
02:44You're supposed to say my sources confirm.
02:47You could say that.
02:47You could say my sources confirm.
02:49And it just bothered me, Nikki.
02:50I don't know Nikki.
02:51I've never met her.
02:52I was not very familiar with your work until this story because I'm a New Yorker, obviously, and follow what goes on with the Jets and Giants and formerly worked multiple times at WFAM.
03:01And it just rankles me because, like, Tyrone's right.
03:04Just come out and say, I can confirm what Nikki reported.
03:08Because we all know that you reported it first.
03:13Right?
03:14So I assume that had to bother you at some level, no?
03:18Yeah, it did bother me.
03:19And I did a video.
03:20It's funny.
03:21So this, the sports reporting that I do, I co-host a podcast, but I also, my credentials and everything are through Ana and J Sports.
03:29So that's where this all started, you know, with my first assignment being the Giants, you know, four-seat tables first year.
03:37And it has evolved into the Jets and the Eagles and basketball and all of this.
03:40And so over time, yeah, of course, I've built a body of work and, you know, I've built sources.
03:46And I run a very successful marketing company.
03:49You know, a lot of people in a lot of big places.
03:51And it's okay to say that.
03:52And so I was working yesterday at an event.
03:55And I got out of work.
03:57And my DMs were blowing up.
03:59And, oh, Sean at WFAN is reporting this.
04:01He stole your story.
04:02And I kind of went off because I was like, well, we interact.
04:06I'm not saying, like, oh, I'm so memorable.
04:08You have to remember everybody you talk to.
04:10That wasn't it.
04:11But let's not act like you didn't see it either.
04:14And a caller called into their show.
04:16I guess he filled in for Tiki and Evan yesterday and said, hey, Nikki had this out first.
04:22And then this morning, Al reaches out and says, can you go on Boomer and Geo's show?
04:26Can we clear this up?
04:27So I did that.
04:28And then you guys reached out.
04:30And so I was like, okay.
