00:00You know, something happened yesterday that's got Giants fans all crazy right now.
00:05So last night was John Cena's final ever appearance for Raw, right?
00:10Yes, on Raw.
00:11And apparently it was like the most successful gait they've had in a long, long time.
00:14I'm sure ratings were awesome.
00:16But one of the storylines that didn't involve John Cena were a couple wrestlers that joined with some people in the crowd.
00:23Yes.
00:23And the people in the crowd, there was Andrew Schultz, the comedian.
00:27Yep.
00:27You may know, right?
00:28And next to Andrew Schultz, there was Cam Scadaboo.
00:31Yes.
00:32The star running back for the Giants, who, by the way, dislocated his ankle and is in a walking boot and is slowly recovering and won't play football again this year.
00:41And Cam Scadaboo is standing next to Abdul Carter.
00:44Abdul Carter is the guy I told you about last week.
00:46I think the video even went viral.
00:48Who said that he wanted Lawrence Taylor's number when he got drafted and he was going to be better than LT was for the Giants.
00:53And then when they said, no, you can't have LT's number, he said, I'll take Phil Simms' number.
00:57You can't have Phil, right?
00:58And he's got half a sack this year in like three tackles.
01:00He's having a horrendous rookie season based on the expectation coming out of Penn State as one of the top defensive players in college football.
01:08It comes out yesterday that Abdul Carter has been sleeping at the facility and missing meetings.
01:17Yeah.
01:17Okay, that was a big report that came out in New York yesterday that a guy who's having a terrible rookie season for the Giants has also been missing meetings.
01:25Yes, he claims he was getting treatment, but the word out of the building is he's sleeping during any kind of walkthrough.
01:31He's sleeping.
01:32He's taking a nap.
01:32He's very, very tired.
01:33Yeah, I can't be bothered to do practice.
01:36I've got half a sack.
01:37You know, hardest to get half a sack in your rookie season.
01:40Yeah.
01:41So, obviously, you know, Giants fans rightfully so pissed at him.
01:44You're not having a good year and you're not acting like a professional.
01:47Yeah.
01:47And the story that came out earlier this morning, again, backing that up, was that Brian Dable tolerated it.
01:52That they didn't punish him or let him know how important it was to actually be awake for team meetings and walkthroughs and things of that nature.
01:59So, you figure if you're Abdul Carter, you're going to lay low for a little bit because now you've been embarrassed, right?
02:05And he put out something on Twitter that he then deleted saying, don't believe all the nonsense, it's BS.
02:11And then he deleted it because it's not BS, apparently.
02:13Whatever.
02:14It's a bad look across the board.
02:16So, I'm watching Raw last night, as I like to do.
02:19Uh-huh.
02:20And there's Cam Scadaboo.
02:21Yeah.
02:22And he gets into, like, a fake tussle with one of the wrestlers.
02:25And I'm like, isn't that dude in a walking boot?
02:27I didn't like getting physical.
02:29Right?
02:29I didn't like getting physical.
02:30Now, I'm not saying you have to live the life of a hermit.
02:33Right.
02:34And it's your night off.
02:35And if you want to go to an event, go.
02:37I want to be clear about that.
02:38But, dude, we're paying you millions of dollars.
02:41You're getting physical.
02:42And you're recuperating from an injury.
02:44Yeah.
02:45You can politely decline the physical part of being on Raw.
02:50Right.
02:50Where you push the wrestler and he comes back and pushes you back.
02:54What if he falls and hurts?
02:55Right.
02:55Like, just why are you getting physical?
02:57Now, I get it.
02:57You're a 22-year-old kid.
02:59You know, I totally get it.
03:00Yeah.
03:00I don't want to be clear.
03:01It's your night off.
03:02Do what you want.
03:03Mm-hmm.
03:03But you also got to be smart.
03:05Right.
03:05Right?
03:06Okay?
03:07And I know he was at the UFC fight Saturday night at the Garden.
03:09Don't mind that either.
03:10No problem.
03:11Don't mind that.
03:11Because no one's coming out of the cage to give you some rope-a-dope.
03:15Right.
03:15Or put you in a Camaro hold or whatever the hell it's called.
03:18Right?
03:19All right?
03:20Yeah.
03:20So now you're getting into it physically with these wrestlers.
03:23Right.
03:23You don't know how that's going to go.
03:25Right.
03:25And then the dude's standing next to him.
03:27Again, it's his night off.
03:29I imagine they got an appearance fee to do it.
03:32So maybe they got $5,000, $10,000.
03:34I don't know.
03:34I'm sure they got paid to be there.
03:36Yeah.
03:36And I don't begrudge them that.
03:38But, man, if you're Abdul-Carter and the last 48 hours have been about you falling asleep in meetings,
03:45you not going to walkthroughs because, again, you're getting some Z's in at the facility,
03:50you might want to think about showing up at a major event in New York City and being a part of the show.
03:57Because I know how Giants fans are.
03:59Giants fans are like, how about less time reading the script for last night's Raw event
04:05and more time reading your playbook for the team that pays you?
