00:03I always start these interviews off by asking guys to show us something in the locker

00:07that you must have on a daily basis.

00:09It's a necessity.

00:11Probably, I'd say...

00:19Practicing in my chains.

00:20Oh my gosh, I'm blinded.

00:22It just gives you a different level of swag, you know, look fresh out there.

00:27Makes you feel like the fliest person out there, so I'd probably say these.

00:29Well, we talking about practice.

00:31You gotta be the fliest person out there in practice.

00:34And then I'm with Nike, so I got my own little custom cleats,

00:38so whatever pair of cleats I feel like wearing that day.

00:41So I'd say those are probably the biggest two.

00:44Look good, you feel good, practice good, you play good.

00:46You play good, they pay good.

00:48So that's what Deion said, so you gotta live by it.

00:50And if Coach Prime says it, it's law.

00:52All right, so obviously, man, your boys traded away.

00:57I mean, what can you tell us about?

00:58Just your first day, I saw you warming up.

01:01You had smiles on your faces.

01:02You're dapping some guys up.

01:04Do you feel like you gotta step into a leadership role?

01:06And I guess, like, what does it feel like the first day without Quentin and Sauce being here?

01:10No, I wouldn't say I have to step in, you know.

01:12So everybody knows I show up on Sundays and everything, so it's nothing new.

01:18You know, for me, I'd say the locker room's definitely a little quieter without those two.

01:21They were big personalities, really funny guys.

01:23But, I mean, for us, we just gotta keep our same process.

01:26And, you know, guys who are behind them just have to step up and start making plays.

01:29So I think it's, you know, it's gonna be good.

01:31They get some new opportunity.

01:32And, you know, we add it to our offense as well.

01:34So I think it's gonna be fun to watch what we do on offense this week.

01:37You think this adding AD to the outside, some speed, and Mechie as well, you got a lot of speed on the perimeter now.

01:43I mean, how does that open things up for you and Isaiah Davis?

01:46Yeah, you know, just getting them acclimated and getting them some reps today.

01:50It's gonna help out a lot on Sunday.

01:53You know, teams are gonna have to play us a little more true, thinking about, you know, the run game with me and Justin.

01:57And also worrying about, okay, they do have a lot of speed.

01:59They have a number one, two, and three out there.

02:01And, you know, I think it's gonna be fun once those guys start to learn and get out there and get a feel for everything.

02:06What's the mentality in this locker room for the final, the remaining eight, nine games left in the season?

02:12Both, you know, as a team and then just you personally as well.

02:15Yeah, as a team, it's just continue to, you know, go out there and get better every day, get that 1%.

02:20And for me personally, you know, just balling on Sunday, you know, being able to show what I can do and showcase my talents.

02:28Because, you know, for me, you know, it's like it's my contract year.

02:31Nothing's promised after this year.

02:32So, you know, I got teammates I want to play for, but I also want to play for myself and, you know, have fun, get some stats.

02:39Since you got to see the business side of things, not only within our sport, within the franchise as well,

02:44does that change your business mindset going into, you know, the rest of the remainder of the season and the offseason as well?

02:51No, I wouldn't say that. I pretty much had a business mindset since I've been here.

02:56You know, I know the potential I have, but, you know, sometimes when things don't go your way, you know, changes have to be made.

03:02So at the end of the day, I'm here to show up on Sundays and do my job, and that's what it is.

03:07Lastly, no one's asked you about Sunday and the game against the Browns.

03:11I mean, how big would a win be coming off the bye, back-to-back wins?

03:15I mean, how big of a morale booster would that be for the locker room?

03:18Yeah, definitely. It would boost a lot of confidence for the guys. You know, me, I have the utmost confidence in myself and the team.

03:24So I think if everybody's on the P's and Q's and we play how we're supposed to, we'll be fine.
