00:00ESPN ranked Sauce Gardner as their fifth best cornerback going into the new season.

00:05And you know what? I had him at four, so they really aren't that far off.

00:09Normally, I don't do the whole ranking thing, but for now, I'm cool with him at five.

00:13But I want you to go take back your number one spot, Sauce.

00:17One, two, and three at PS2, Derrick Stingley Jr. and Denzel Ward.

00:20They all play man-to-man the majority of their coverage snaps,

00:23and they all line up against the other team's number one receiver.

00:26All three of those guys were dogs last season.

00:29So they deserve to be there.

00:31One down year for Sauce cost him a couple of spots.

00:34And I say down year loosely because he was still pretty elite in coverage,

00:38but he was horrible in tackling and with the DPIs.

00:41Plus, he didn't really take the ball away and force turnovers.

00:44Steve Wilks and Aaron Glenn's defensive schemes are going to make Sauce shine,

00:49or they're going to completely expose him.

00:51Single high, man-to-man coverage, up in the receiver's face at the line of scrimmage

00:57with some sort of pressure attached to it.

00:59To make a quarterback be late with the decision or throw a bad ball.
