00:21I don't think he's done making deals.
00:24I don't think Quentin Williams will get traded.
00:27I think there's a chance Brees Hall gets traded.
00:31I wouldn't do it if I was them, but here's what teams don't do nearly enough of.
00:37The Jets need to have an idea of what their plan is in March with Brees Hall.
00:41If they're going to let him walk out the door the way the Giants let Saquon Barkley walk out the door,
00:45then they should just trade him now because I'm not worried about whether he can lift me from two wins to four wins or whatever with his great performance last week.
00:55I've got to be thinking about the future.
00:56If there's a chance I'm going to franchise tag him or a chance I'm going to resign him,
01:00then I would keep Brees Hall because I'm in the business of keeping good players.
01:05So I don't think he'll get traded.
01:07I can't rule it out.
01:08I do not believe under any circumstance Quinnen Williams gets traded,
01:12but I do think there's a chance Quincy Williams gets traded, former All-Pro linebacker, Quinnen's brother,
01:18and he's on an expiring contract.
01:20And, you know, teams like to move those for draft picks.
01:23Do you think he buys or goes after someone?
01:27I know at 1-7, that's a little hard.
01:30But like you said, what if they have a plan in place and they know they've identified some players out there
01:36that can help right the ship in 2026 and forward?
01:40Do you think that Darren Muge gets aggressive and tries to go after somebody?
01:44I don't.
01:47I know that's like the new age NFL GM thinking like the Bears did that a couple years ago with Montez Sweat,
01:53and it worked out.
01:54There's talk the Giants will do that this year with a wide receiver.
01:58I know that's the new thing is like not to see losing teams as just sellers,
02:02but possible opportunity striking buyers.
02:06I don't think the Jets are in that situation.
02:09I think they should regroup after the season, look at their roster more honestly.
02:13You know, you can always make trades or free agent signings then, I think, for the Jets right now.
02:19Look, I like the idea that they got a player like John Mechie with upside for Michael Carter.
02:24I love the trade they made earlier this season with the Titans.
02:29It looks like they stole the slot cornerback, Brownlee, which made the Carter trade more palatable.
02:35So I like that they've been picking and choosing spots,
02:38but I don't think they should be trade deadline buyers when you're 1-7, no.
02:42Who do you think has more pressure on them to get it right at the deadline, Darren Mougie or Joe Shane?
02:49Joe Shane.
02:49Joe Shane 100 times over.
02:51I mean, it's year four, and his team is sitting 2-7 for the third straight year.
02:56Darren Mougie has the equity of this being his first year of a rebuild.
03:00Obviously, him and Glenn, Glenn still has a lot of influence.
03:06No, I don't think it's even, but I think Mougie has some room to play with,
03:11and Shane at 2-7, that hits like a sledgehammer in the Giants building.
