Transcript
00:00It was significantly dearer over both your steer and nephra categories.
00:04We've seen some fairly consistent rainfall in the past fortnight,
00:08which gave a lot of our local producers a bit of confidence
00:11that now that they're starting to see a bit of grass growth,
00:14they'll step into a few cattle.
00:15All your feeder cattle sold exceptionally well.
00:17They're all making $5 for good black steer.
00:20There's an isolated sale at $5.40.
00:23All your good Angus steers restockers,
00:26they're making $5.50 up to $6,
00:30and you'll probably find your sub 250 kilos making a bit more than that.
00:35Feeder heifers made out of $4.80, which was very pleasing to see,
00:39and a lot of your really good restocking heifers are making $5 and in excess off.
00:44So a very satisfactory day here at Barnawatha,
00:47and we'd like to see this job to keep progressing forward.
00:56$7.80, let him in.
00:59I've got $16.80 here.
