00:00big bro thanks for hopping on with this man um weird times we're in right now for the giants

00:10and i've always come to you with advice on the field off the field you were a leader of the

00:15team back in 2007 and what's your time with the giants from watching bro there was so much hope

00:22in the spring in the summer going into this season what like what's going wrong man like

00:28your leader what is going wrong with this giant season this year well you know from outside looking

00:35in um there's not a shortage of players um i think we have decent coaches i i don't understand

00:43the the the amount of influence uh that one player has had as inscattable um we were doing great

00:52offensively when he was you know when he was touching the ball um but we lost him on the

00:59nasty gruesome uh ankle injury leg injury whatever have you and just the energy hadn't been the same

01:05it hadn't been the same ever since and they thought i love jackson dart i thought that you know that we

01:10should have drafted him i thought that was the right pick for the new york giants i thought he

01:13was a quarterback that can come in and do some things for us that we've never seen before from

01:19a quarterback you know quarterback position you know getting yours with his feet uh uh you know

01:24just making a lot of plays extending plays and and doing a lot of great things having swag and just

01:29and just bringing that type of confidence to the locker room that the new york giants had never had

01:35at that position um i love you know i love eli so to say has never had at that position i just mean

01:41the type of quarterback he is and his characteristics and his demeanor um that's that's more about what i'm

01:47talking about i need to clear that up you know people say i'm trying to throw eli under the butt

01:51so um yeah you know just that type of uh thing like you know i was a quiet guy you know he had

01:58other guys on the team to do that stuff that he didn't do the the lead the loud leading and stuff

02:03like that he led with his play and um but you know and i think jackson daughter's going to be the

02:09quarterback for the new york giants in the future uh i think him and scataboo is going to be two

02:14guys going together now uh defensively i don't understand i mean we got the defensive front the

02:20best defensive front i'm one of the top two or three defensive fronts in in the nfl uh we're

02:25getting pressure on passers you know i think burns is sitting down about 10 sacks right you know you

02:29know right now um you know not even to mid-season at this point so i think that our defensive line is

02:40is is was looked at to be the best the strongest part of our defense now giving up 30 points a game

02:46on why that's going the way it has so far now the cookie never crumbled the way you wanted to

02:51you know the cookies never crumbled the way you wanted to and and you know and then saying that

02:57you can have all the best weapons on your team but the stuff may not necessarily gel the way you think

03:02is going to you know so i just think we need a little bit more time to you know like together

03:08and um you know i think every time i do an interview about the new york giants i feel like i'm making up

03:13excuse like after excuse every year when i do interviews but i really truly feel like this

03:19particular team is the best new york giants team that we've had in a while uh on paper um

03:26you know i think when malik neighbors went went down i think we i think we should have used that

03:33opportunity to bring in another wide receiver that can help us um you know on offense and i don't know

03:40why uh the giants chose to not do that whatever their option is obviously i support whatever they

03:47you know whatever the reason was but i i if i was the one in charge i would have definitely looked to

03:53uh bring another wide receiver in um and you know in some way to come and that's a veteran that can

04:00come in and help us right now that may have been out there or possibly make a trade for somebody to

04:06come in and be able to help us so i mean it's it's a lot of different things i think the running game

04:12has been great scataboo turned that up no you know now you got devon in the game i think i think he's

04:19doing good um i would like to see more tyrone tracy obviously um but i i think like on and all i think

04:27the offense has has turned up a little bit more than we've seen in past years uh you know just hope

04:34make it better going down you know you know from this point forward
