00:21I always gotta keep some type of cologne on me.

00:27I always gotta keep these two very different smells, but I always keep cologne in my locker.

00:31So which one is the game day smell and which one is a night out smell?

00:36That's after practice smell.

00:37Okay.

00:38My game day, night out, all that's still at my house.

00:40That's classified stuff right there.

00:41G14 classified.

00:42Absolutely love it.

00:43And I got the samples in my drawer.

00:45So you know, in case any of my players got something, we got a meeting or an event afterwards,

00:49they know where to come.

00:50It smells good.

01:01I mean, kind of talk about the vibes in the locker room right now, man, and out at practice.

01:05Like you feel like guys are still dialed in.

01:07Yeah, the vibes been high.

01:08I feel like guys are ready to bounce back from the week that we just went through the tough

01:12loss.

01:13We just went through, you know, a lot of things played a part in that.

01:17And I think they're just ready to get back in control where they can control.

01:20You guys lose a playmaker in Malik Nabors, the Chargers game.

01:24How you lose a playmaker and a hype man in a Cam Scataboo.

01:28Like, what was that kind of like for you when you saw that he was down and how do you guys

01:32get that production and energy?

01:35It was tough, you know, seeing him go down.

01:37You know, he's been playing great ball.

01:39Um, and you know, just the energy and the enthusiasm he brings to the locker room and to the team

01:44is, uh, it's important, you know, but, um, you know, how does, how does NFL business is

01:49next man up and, um, you know, Tracy motor.

01:53Um, I think EG was, was, was coming back.

01:56I've seen that he was doing, he was, he was coming, coming back well.

01:59So, you know, they're going to fill in that role and, you know, get the, get the ball running

02:02defensively guys got Christian McCaffrey and that 49ers run game.

02:07I mean, you've said it to me before last year, you got to earn the right to rush and

02:11the pass rush by stopping the run.

02:13How do you guys do that this week?

02:16You got to be locked in.

02:17Um, they do have a dynamic scheme, a lot of window dressing, a lot of pull flashes, jet

02:22motions.

02:23You got to be locked into your assignment and understand that the picture is going to change.

02:26Um, I've been with Christian for four, four years or whatever in Carolina.

02:30So I know Christian very well, um, electric player.

02:34Um, but you got to keep him bottled up because he can really hurt you down.

02:36When you say locked in, kind of give details to the people that's watching.

02:40Is that like a communication thing, a gap assignment thing?

02:44Like what, what does that mean?

02:45All of the above.

02:47Uh, no, honestly though, with this offense, you really need to be on your keys.

02:51So, um, whatever you need to look at the, your key, your guy, you need to just watch

02:55him because if you look too much at the big picture, you're going to get confused and

02:59it's going to be too late.

03:00So lastly, another sack for you.

03:02Someone was talking about like, Oh, you out there going for that defensive player of the

03:06year.

03:06I mean, I I've asked you before and it was like, you were having success, like everything

03:10that you were doing in the spring to the summer, doing all the right things.

03:13How do you keep that personal momentum going while still trying to, you know, be that guy

03:17for your team as well?

03:19Um, you know, at the end of the day, just not letting them down, you know, being playing

03:23my, my part, doing my role.

03:25And, you know, I've been playing a lot of different spots, a lot of different positions,

03:28and I'm just really trying to make sure I keyed in on each week as it's on week.

03:31So, um, I do have a nice total of sacks right now, but every week is differences is zero

03:37ground zero for me.

03:38You got a chance to watch the Knicks game yet?

03:40No, I didn't watch.

03:42I've been locked in on watching film.
