00:00Kuala Lumpur Police have reclassified the death of a foreign national at a prominent hotel in
00:05the capital last month as a murder. In a statement, Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Fadil Marsu said
00:12further investigations are being carried out. The case was earlier classified as sudden death.
00:18The victim, linked by media reports to controversial singer Naimui, was found dead
00:23at a hotel in the capital on October 22. While police did not name her, reports identified the
00:29victim as Taiwanese influencer Sia Yusin, also known as Iris. According to Sinshu Daily,
00:35Sia had met Naimui, whose real name is Wee Mengqi, to discuss a video project. The report later said
00:42Wee had found her dead in the bathtub. It was detained at the hotel on October 22, after police
00:47found 9 blue pills, believed to be ecstasy, in the room. Wee has been charged with possession and
