00:00Dangwangi Police Chief Sazali Adam confirmed that controversial singer Wee Ming-Chi, better known as Name Wee,

00:07has been remanded for six days until November 10th to assist in investigations into the murder of Taiwanese social media influencer Seath Yusin.

00:18This morning, Wee surrendered himself to the police saying he would never flee the law

00:22and that he had travelled from Johor to Kuala Lumpur after being summoned by investigators.

00:28Yesterday, police said they had been unable to locate him following Seath's death.

00:34Seath, whose death has been reclassified from sudden death to murder,

00:39reportedly met with Wee at a hotel in the capital to discuss filming a video together.

00:44He was said to have found her dead in a bathtub.

00:48Wee, who had earlier been arrested on October 22nd at the same hotel and charged with drug possession and consumption,

00:54was allowed to post bail of RM4,000 for each charge.
