00:00of a lifetime the winner of Project Runway will receive a fashion spread in
00:05Marie Claire magazine a Paris vacation courtesy of Avian and $100,000 from
00:10L'Oreal Paris to start their own line
00:20it's getting really rough right now and it's getting kind of awkward Irene and I
00:26aren't really speaking because she's accused me of copying there has been a
00:31little bit of resemblance of things in the workroom it was my original sketch
00:36the last thing I want to do right now is start an argument because there's so
00:40many other things to focus on so that's just automatic tension I'm very
00:46competitive and I'm very outspoken and you know I always say I won't say anything
00:51behind your back that I won't say to your face and I guess people would rather you
00:55just say behind their back it's a little lonely in the boys room I thought
01:01Nicholas is gonna be here Ramon Lawrence is gonna be here it's odd that I'm the
01:05last boy standing going through the whole competition was always about surviving
01:12and now this is my last challenge I want to show something that I'm absolutely so

04:04oh
04:06oh
04:07oh
04:08oh
04:09oh
04:10oh
04:11oh
04:12oh
04:13oh
04:14oh
04:15oh
04:17oh
04:18oh
04:19oh
04:20I don't know which one.
04:22One of them.
04:23Everywhere you look is just beautiful.
04:26Everything you look at is just unbelievable,
04:29and I'm so excited to be here.
04:33Oh, my gosh.
04:35I can't stop looking at it.
04:40Designers, you have 30 minutes to sketch
04:43and to take in the rest of the gardens, the galleries,
04:46the architecture, the incredible view, whatever you want.
04:49It's all here for you for inspiration for this last look.
04:53All right, so your 30 minutes starts right now.
04:55Enjoy it.
04:58Architecture is, I mean, I'm just stunned.
05:01It's probably one of my, like, top three buildings ever.
05:04The silhouette, I think, definitely has to be tailored with this look.
05:08Very tailored.
05:09There's just so much inspiration to go off of.
05:11It's kind of overwhelming.
05:14I decided to go back to the European Decorative Arts.
05:17And there's this big, beautiful French bed.
05:20It has all this drapery and feathers and fringe.
05:23And that, to me, was the piece that really stood out.
05:27Caroline and I looked at so many amazing paintings,
05:30but we both stopped at this painting that said everything
05:33that I wanted to say, especially with my final look.
05:36Ruffling in the contrast of marble, tile, silk, fur, and flesh.
05:40I need that.
05:42I want to rip that flat off.
05:44The first thing I see is this fountain.
05:47And it's so beautiful and it's so organic with that little plant, like, that little algae growing on there.
05:51It's fantastic to finally have the opportunity to really vocalize your point of view.
05:57There it is.
05:59My inspiration is a painting by Monet.
06:02When I saw the painting, I see these colors and it reminded me of Europe, where I'm from.
06:10So I really wanted to create that beauty that I have seen so many times.
06:15Very light and flowy, in a way.
06:17Yeah.
06:18Very light.
06:18It's very, like, spiritual, too.
06:19Yeah.
06:20Our visit to the Getty Center was staggering, wasn't it?
06:23Yeah.
06:23Just incredible.
06:24So, designers, say goodbye to your models, because you and I are headed off to Mood.
06:28Here we go.
06:29Break a look.
06:30Here we go.
06:31They're amazing.
06:32What a day.
06:35All right, designers, you have a budget of $300, and you have 30 minutes to shop.
06:41Your time starts now.
06:45In Mood, I'm looking for colors that I can manipulate into the flow of the cathedral.
06:52How are you doing?
06:53I'm hoping I'm doing good, even though it's costing me my life.
06:58What is this?
07:00Um, it would be an accent.
07:02Trust me.
07:03I do love this.
07:04I found a really cool fur.
07:07It actually, the outside of it looks like marble in the painting, which is really amazing.
07:12It's not a goat.
07:13It's just a new sheared rabbit.
07:14It's too big to be a rabbit.
07:15It's a giant, giant Scandinavian rabbit.
07:18Um, if you have it like seven minutes ago.
07:21Carol Hannah, spend all of it.
07:22I'm going to.
07:23Good.
07:24If we can cut faster.
07:25Designers, two minutes remain.
07:29Is anyone listening to me?
07:31It's a dress.
07:33So this would be the whole dress.
07:38It's better work.
07:39Designers, time is up.
07:44So you need to be at the counter now.
07:47Hi!
07:48Carolina.
07:49All right, designers, this was our last trip to Mood.
07:52So let's give Mood a special goodbye.
07:54Thank you, Mood.
07:55Thank you, guys.
07:57Without you, we couldn't make it.
07:58It's true.
08:00Back to the work room, everybody.
08:08All right, designers, it's your last challenge.
08:12This is the challenge that will determine who among you will be going to New York Fashion Week.
08:17Invest more than you ever have in the success of your own work, and take risks, okay?
08:24All right, I will see you later.
08:29Whew.
08:30This challenge is really hit or miss, because you're drawing inspiration from a painting.
08:35So there's a lot more pressure.
08:37Heidi will be like, you didn't paint the picture on it.
08:41You know how she wants to be literally.
08:43For someone like me, who lives in a small town, to come here and perform, and then to
08:49go on to Bryant Park, is unbelievable.
08:53It's, oh, my God.
08:55Coming up on Project Runway.
08:57Althea's sort of like King Kong, she wants to grab everything.
09:00I think she's just out for a lot of stuff.
09:02Oh, yeah.
09:03The tension is really heavy.
09:04It's looking a lot like roadkill.
09:13It's really exciting to be down to five.
09:16This is it.
09:17This is the end, and there's a lot more pressure and a lot more stress.
09:21Just knowing that this is the last challenge is a little bit intimidating, but also very
09:27gratifying.
09:28Making it to top five is huge, and now, like, Bryant Park is so reachable that it would be
09:34really disappointing to go home.
09:36The atmosphere in the workroom's kind of awkward for me.
09:43Irina and Jordana have sort of become recent friends.
09:48And then Carole Hannah and Christopher are, like, buddy-buddy.
09:51I don't know.
09:52So I feel kind of alone.
09:54Althea's sort of like King Kong, she wants to grab everything.
09:58Today, with the table space, I'm like, you have three tables.
10:01Do you really need to come?
10:02Like, I have to see you in front of me, I have to see you next to me.
10:05But, you know, her highness needs to iron.
10:07Is it just me, or was that whole table thing a little ridiculous?
10:11Um, I'm going to go with, what's the point?
10:14I think she's just out for a lot of stuff.
10:16Oh, yeah.
10:17The fact that people are starting to pick at each other is definitely a sign of how far
10:24along we are in the competition.
10:25You know what they say, the dogs that bark don't bite.
10:28It's the quiet ones you have to be worried about.
10:30Exactly.
10:31It's always the cute dogs that just bite your fingers off.
10:34I just think it's silly.
10:35And if people are just going to keep to themselves and do their own work, I think it would be better
10:40for everyone.
10:48Why do you always assume they're making fun of you?
10:50Because, Vicky, you do.
10:51There's other people here.
10:52You're not that important.
10:53Smartass.
10:54No, don't start.
10:55We're kidding, girls.
10:56We're not kidding, though.
10:57We are not, like, fighting.
10:58I don't think y'all are being serious when you're bickering.
10:59It's just I don't want to listen to it.
11:00Well, too bad, Carol.
11:01If you don't want to be, I'm not here to serve you.
11:02Thank God this is the last challenge, because I really think it would be hard to make it
11:16work for any longer.
11:17I don't want to make it work for any longer.
11:23My family's from the Republic of Georgia.
11:29I think the culture's a bit behind in the sense that women aren't the breadwinners of the family.
11:36My dad thinks I'm ancient.
11:37I'm 26 years old, and he's just, like, stressed out that I'm, like, not married.
11:43Getting to Bryan Park and actually showing my collection will definitely be a bit of a
11:48wake-up call from my parents that, you know what?
11:50Things will happen, and you just have to be persistent and keep pushing for it.
11:54Hi, everybody.
11:55Hey, Tim.
11:56Well, I'm here to check in with all of you, and I'm going to start with Christopher.
12:00I know your inspiration was the rock final challenge.
12:02That's correct.
12:03The color palette that I wanted to go on this kind of dull gray and then spruce it up with,
12:09like, a green that kind of comes through on, you know, that little algae growing on there
12:13was so beautiful to me.
12:14Then there's going to be these angular pieces that represent the rock.
12:19But they look like stalactites.
12:20They're going to be edged in.
12:22You want this, the impact of this to be, wow, oh, my God.
12:27You don't want it to be a head-scratching response, and then it's like, Christopher, what?
12:31Mm-hmm.
12:32That happens a lot to me.
12:34Just keep an editing eye upon this.
12:37How's girl Hannah?
12:38Hi.
12:39Hi.
12:40So talk to me about what you're doing.
12:41Okay.
12:42Um...
12:43Oh, you have a bed.
12:44Yes.
12:45Oh, I love this bed.
12:46I'm obsessed with this bed.
12:47I am too.
12:48Um, I really want to replicate that very ornate texture that comes out of here.
12:53I thought there were so many interesting shapes.
12:55And then the most ornate part is really going to come kind of sweeping down here.
13:00Ah!
13:01What are you doing?
13:02You're going across the bodice?
13:03I think so.
13:04Mm-hmm.
13:05I think it loses the taste and it loses the sophistication.
13:08Okay.
13:09Don't lose the sophistication.
13:10Okay.
13:11All right, Carol Hannah.
13:14How's Irina?
13:15Good.
13:16Thinking.
13:17So talk to me.
13:18I just really want to do a very sort of sheer, fleshy-looking...
13:22Fleshy?
13:23Fleshy, meaning like very, sort of like barely there.
13:26The dresses in the painting are very diaphanous.
13:30They are.
13:31I mean, you can see through them.
13:32Yeah.
13:33It doesn't look that way to me.
13:34Is it?
13:35Um, it is pretty sheer.
13:36I mean, obviously I've lined it.
13:39And then I have this.
13:40This.
13:44It's looking a lot like roadkill.
13:46It worries me.
13:48And seeing it with this, it's like a post-apocalyptic moment.
13:52So you really need to make this work, Irina.
13:55Mm-hmm.
13:56I do.
13:59Wow, Althea.
14:01Talk to me.
14:02Talk to me.
14:03Well, I was taken away by the architecture of this place.
14:07And what I'm doing is sort of creating like lines, but using them in different angles to try to get that sort of effect that the building had.
14:16I'm perplexed over why you chose that kind of construction method for this.
14:20Unless you want to go for a pebbly, puckery effect, I find that to be troublesome.
14:26In fact, if I sweat my eyes, it's just a panel of puckering.
14:29I hate to tell you, bring a critical eye to this and be as objective as you can be in your analysis.
14:34Yeah.
14:35Because this needs work.
14:37Yeah.
14:38Well, Jordana, I have absolutely no difficulty seeing the painting in this.
14:46You really achieved it.
14:48This was my challenge.
14:50And I couldn't tell you how emotional I am about this painting.
14:56Talk to me.
14:57What is it about the painting?
14:59You are emotional.
15:00Nobody knows, but I'm a very spiritual person.
15:04And the colors are so angelic.
15:07I wanted to create something regardless of the judges.
15:11I wanted to create something that I'm in love with.
15:14And I'm in love with this.
15:15I never know what the judges are going to say, needless to say.
15:18Of course, me neither.
15:20But I'm really impressed with this.
15:23Thank you very much.
15:24Designers, I just want to underscore that while you could all ascend and succeed,
15:32in a way you're all at risk.
15:34And I hate saying that, but it's simply a matter of fact.
15:37Because it is, it's a competition.
15:40But I do believe in each and every one of you, all right?
15:43So I am sending in your models for a fitting.
15:46You will have 30 minutes with them.
15:48Use your time well.
15:49Okay?
15:50All right.
15:52I'll see you later.
15:53See you later.
15:58This is our last, like, fitting fitting.
16:01And you've got to get out these puckers somehow.
16:04But I think...
16:05Althea might have a problem.
16:08The fabric that she's chosen is not the best fabric to choose because it puckers and it shows every single one of them.
16:16So what's the difference of here versus here?
16:18I don't know.
16:19I'm hoping it's just the ironing.
16:20That's what I'm thinking.
16:21I like where she's going.
16:22I just hope she gets there.
16:27Do you think I'm scared?
16:28Yeah.
16:29Why?
16:30Because I'm the odd duck of the group.
16:32I get it.
16:33Like...
16:34There's no illusion.
16:35I know my place in this competition.
16:37I'm the wacky, weird guy who doesn't listen and just does whatever the hell he wants to do.
16:44And it almost got me thrown off a couple of times.
16:47But I'm still here and I'm going to still do my thing.
16:52So after Tim's critique, I decide that, you know, I'm not going to do the whole fur wrap thing.
16:58I'm going to take Tim's advice and invest all of my time into the dress.
17:02There's still a lot of work to be done.
17:04I'm exhausted.
17:05It's like only like a couple more days.
17:07Yeah, and it's not going to change anything.
17:08You can do anything for a couple of days.
17:09Exactly.
17:11Jordana's dress is a simple silhouette.
17:13The simplicity is beautiful and it's a beautiful dress, but it's not a last challenge dress.
17:18It's not a, I'm going to wow the judges with my skill dress.
17:21I'm just creating my angel.
17:23I'm so happy you just decided to do something that you love.
17:26Yeah.
17:27Thank you so much.
17:28Ah, this iron is hot you guys.
17:39This is the most stressed out I've ever been on a challenge because it's the last one.
17:43It's just, I really want to go to fashion.
17:46I do think that everyone else is kind of freaked out.
17:50I think everyone's sort of, you know, aiming to please.
17:54They, no one wants to go home.
17:58Coming up on Project One Way.
18:00I am so nervous.
18:02I have to do what's right for me.
18:04Yeah.
18:05Christopher's very confident, but it's a false confidence.
18:07This one has to be amazing.
18:09Designers and models, this is it.
18:22There's a lot of pressure with this challenge, even greater than some of the other challenges
18:27because we're one step away from fashion week.
18:29This one has to be amazing.
18:30Yeah, I woke up and I got really nervous.
18:43I think because it's just the last one, you feel like you should go out with something like crazy.
18:47We've definitely learned by this point that you cannot predict what the judges are going to think, how they're going to receive things.
18:56They're deciding the rest of our lives.
18:59I keep, like, saying to myself, well, I mean, there's nothing I can do right now.
19:05I have done already what I could have done.
19:08Final runway show is going to be so important to me.
19:13I have created something that I'm absolutely proud of.
19:16I mean, hey, I'm here for the final challenge.
19:19How many people can say that?
19:21All right, girls, let's go.
19:22Let's go show them what we're made of.
19:24Oh, yeah.
19:25I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed.
19:39You know, I've got this skirt that I really like, but there's just so many pattern pieces,
19:45and I'm just hoping that it all comes together.
19:48Time is pretty scarce this morning.
19:51I feel like I'm in an adventure movie, and I'm running on one of those bridges,
19:56and I'm running as fast as I can before it breaks off completely.
20:01Do you not feel a little crazy?
20:03No.
20:04No? Totally normal?
20:05Yeah.
20:06Every day for you?
20:07Yeah.
20:08Good morning, designers.
20:09It's your last runway show.
20:12I'm about to send in your models.
20:14You have an hour to send them to the Garnier hair studio in the L'Oreal Paris makeup room,
20:19and when you're putting together your look, use the Macy's accessory wall thoughtfully.
20:24I'm sending in your models.
20:25Thanks, Tim.
20:27Hi.
20:28How are you?
20:29Okay.
20:30Mmm.
20:31Whoa.
20:32Whoa.
20:34I love my dress.
20:37I believe I definitely have hit the challenge and the target.
20:42Well, I don't want it to fall off you.
20:44I can take it in.
20:45Tighter is better.
20:46My dress encompasses who I am as a designer.
20:50It's pretty, and it's kind of dirty.
20:54I think the judges are going to see my design aesthetic in this piece, and they're going
20:58to send me through to Bryan Park.
21:05I just want, like, really clean, like, dreamy kind of look.
21:10Her piece is really long and lean and ethereal.
21:13We're kind of going sort of bridge up our dope.
21:16Almost like a sumo wrestler.
21:19Designers, in 15 minutes, we are all walking to the runway.
21:25It's that last final runway, and everything's at stake today.
21:29I have to do what's right for me.
21:31Yeah.
21:32Like, you know, that's why I'm here.
21:34Christopher is very confident, but it's a false confidence because he's so in his head
21:40that he just can't see anything outside of it.
21:43What's got to show?
21:45I just think his look is going to really put him in trouble again.
21:50Irina's design, you know, it has no tailoring.
21:53It's very loose.
21:54It's flowy.
21:55You know, I don't think it's ugly by any means.
21:57It's definitely not a wow look at that garment.
21:59Oh, I'm sorry, honey.
22:00Are you okay?
22:01I'm so sorry.
22:02Althea's struggling to finish everything.
22:05I mean, but that's been the case with her since day one.
22:08Like, sometimes she does an okay job with the construction, but most of the time it's
22:13really poorly finished.
22:15Designers and models, this is it.
22:17I want to wow those judges.
22:19I want Nina Garcia's stilettos to blow right off of her feet and shoot across the runway.
22:24Coming up on Project Runway, it's a bit of a mess fest.
22:33Not so great from the back.
22:35Are you confident in this as your final challenge look?
22:39I want to thank you.
22:45Hello.
22:46Hi.
22:47Welcome to the runway.
22:50As you know, in fashion one day you're in, and the next day you're out.
22:54There are five of you here, and after tonight there will be three.
22:59And those three will compete at New York Fashion Week.
23:02For this challenge we allowed you to draw your inspiration from the Getty Center.
23:07I really look forward to seeing what you've done.
23:10All right, let's meet the judges.
23:12First we have fashion designer Cynthia Rowley.
23:15Fashion director for Marie Claire magazine Nina Garcia.
23:18Hi everyone.
23:19And supermodel and style icon Cindy Crawford.
23:22Hi.
23:26We will score your designs as they come down the runway.
23:29Three of you will make it to New York Fashion Week.
23:32And two of you will be out.
23:38Let's start the show.
23:40Nothing's popping out.
23:42The opening of the seams are moving pretty nicely.
23:45So I'm feeling good.
23:46It shows that I'm willing to take risks.
23:49And if I do go home today it won't because I'm playing it safe.
23:52I feel great when Lisa comes around the corner because the dress looks so good on her.
23:58It definitely creates that town and country look that I'm going for on this piece.
24:02So I'm really happy.
24:07This time I really took a chance.
24:09I found my inspiration in maybe the most unexpected place.
24:13I hope the judges see this and see a designer who deserves to be at Fashion Week.
24:20Looking at my garment it just puts tears in my eyes.
24:24I'm so happy I have created that look that I wanted from spiritual level.
24:30My garment represents my soul not only my capable hands.
24:36In this challenge I wanted to do something different.
24:40I just really want to show them that there is another side.
24:43And things could still be sort of subtle and still have boldness.
24:47It looks great especially like with inspiration.
24:50It's right what I had envisioned.
24:55We have scored your designs as they came down the runway.
24:58Three of you will be going to New York Fashion Week.
25:01And two of you will be out.
25:03All right let's bring out your models.
25:15Althea tell us about your inspiration and your look.
25:19I was inspired by the architecture of the Getty Center.
25:22It's really like a lot of parallel lines that are both vertical and horizontal.
25:26And then there's these sort of unexpected curves.
25:30I think you're very brave to try all that pleating because that's probably one of your hardest patterns to make.
25:36It's also very hard to wear.
25:38I definitely see the architectural inspiration on the skirt.
25:43It seems a little ambitious maybe.
25:46It seems that the skirt maybe is a little overworked and the top is a little underworked.
25:51There's nothing wrong with an ambitious plan.
25:55But you clearly spent most of your time trying to finish this bottom and barely got to the top.
26:01It's a bit of a mess fest.
26:03I'm a bit shocked to see this from you today.
26:05I feel like you bit off so much more than you could chew.
26:10Irina, tell us about your inspiration and your look.
26:12As Kayla and I walked through the galleries, we were both completely enamored with the painting Mischief and Repose.
26:18It was like fur and chiffon and then these like very fleshy ladies.
26:23You know, I wanted this sort of very sensual, beautiful, almost like a goddess gown with like this really tough styling.
26:30I like the back.
26:32I think that's, you know, very pretty.
26:35I think the length is very old lady.
26:39It is.
26:40Cindy, what do you think?
26:41Oh, I love the color.
26:42I like the inspiration.
26:44But I felt like the shoes to me were a big disconnect because they're so, so heavy that it takes away from the lightness of the fabric.
26:52I agree.
26:53I want to take the shoes off and many more things.
26:55If all that stuff would come off, she would look already so much better.
26:58Can you take it off?
26:59Let's do it.
27:06It's better.
27:07If you're going for simple, then just make it what it is.
27:12Okay, Giordana, tell us about your inspiration.
27:15My inspiration was the Ruan Cathedral in Morning Light.
27:20And when I saw this painting by Monet, everything else disappeared.
27:24I knew right away that I wanted to work with silk organza because I wanted to manipulate the fabric to almost create like a brush strokes and to create a person that's almost like angelic, like coming out of that cathedral.
27:38I have to tell you, I can absolutely see the connection with the painting.
27:43You know, it's a perfectly made dress.
27:45My concern is that I still wonder if there is a moment where you can just really take a chance.
27:54And a lot of what being a designer is, is taking chances.
27:58I could see myself wearing that.
28:00It looks comfortable, beautiful, practical.
28:03Can we see the back?
28:04I'm not loving the big, chunky zipper in the back.
28:12Not so great from the back, but beautiful from the front.
28:16All right, Carol Hanna, tell us about your inspiration and your look.
28:20I was inspired by pretty much the entire European decorative arts gallery.
28:25Specifically this French bed from 1775.
28:29So I really wanted to replicate the regal, sophisticated feel from the piece.
28:35Well, I think the fit is fantastic.
28:39I like the detail on the shoulder.
28:41I think it's really pretty.
28:42Originally when it came out, I didn't get the inspiration.
28:46I think it's a beautiful, well executed dress.
28:48It's just, I don't look at this picture and then see that dress.
28:51My only concern is that you are playing it very safe.
28:56It is perfect, but it is almost a safe perfection.
29:00All right, Christopher.
29:03My inspiration came from a rock fountain at the Getty
29:07and where the water would hit the boulders,
29:10this little hint of algae would come through this little green
29:13and I was inspired by that color combination and how natural it was.
29:17I love the top part.
29:19It seems a little bit heavy on the bottom.
29:22Is it the wrong fabric?
29:24It seems like the fabric is a little bit heavy for a long skirt like that.
29:29I agree.
29:30It's so flattering, like the upper part, but the stiffness of the skirt,
29:34it wasn't like moving with her.
29:36The skirt had a life of its own.
29:37Christopher, you're a very talented designer.
29:40Are you confident in this as your final challenge look?
29:44This piece speaks more about me than any other piece I put down the runway.
29:54Looking at all the other inspirations, they were these beautiful pieces of artwork.
30:00And mine was a rock with algae on it.
30:04And not everybody would see the beauty in that.
30:07And it's like, that's me.
30:10Those pieces together.
30:13Thank you for sharing with us, Christopher.
30:24Thank you, honey.
30:26Jordana, why do you deserve to go to Fashion Week?
30:29And which other two designers should come with you?
30:31When I was growing up, I was dyeing fabrics in onion peel
30:35and cutting everything possible I could get my hands on because we didn't have resources.
30:41And I feel like if I was on a Fashion Week and I had the time to do it,
30:45I could really create something that would be totally unique.
30:48As for a designer who to choose, I would say Christopher because he really wants it so much.
30:54And Irina, because she really showed week after week that she wants it much too.
31:01Althea.
31:02I think consistently throughout the competition, I've really pushed myself.
31:07I've never been in the bottom and I have the skills and the vision
31:11to put a really beautiful collection out there.
31:14As far as who should come with me, I think both Carol Hanna and Irina.
31:20Carol Hanna, why do you deserve to go to Fashion Week?
31:25I mean, I can go into my whole story of teaching myself and not going to school for this, blah, blah, blah.
31:31It doesn't matter and it doesn't matter how much you want it.
31:33When it comes down to it, I think that I make beautiful garments that women want to wear.
31:38And what two designers should go with you?
31:40I think that Christopher should be there because he has ideas that are interesting all the time.
31:47And I think that Althea also, she's sometimes a little over ambitious, but the things that she does, they're provoking.
31:57Irina.
31:58You know, my parents are immigrants. I am too. I wasn't born in this country.
32:03So I think in many ways, you know, a lot of people who come here with a dream, they kind of get lost because it becomes so tough.
32:11So it's okay to dream as long as you push it and work on it and just don't give up.
32:17So that's why I want to go.
32:19And who should go with you?
32:20I've already been called mean. I don't want to do this.
32:23I think you guys are all great, but judging on work, I do think Althea and Jordana.
32:33Christopher.
32:34I haven't had a lot of opportunities to have success in my life.
32:39And this would truly be the biggest success so far.
32:45I have to say, in my heart, Irina deserves to go to Fashion Week.
32:50The other designer is Carol Hanna.
32:55I think that all of you have given us a lot to think about today.
33:00We're going to have a little chat and then I'm going to call you back.
33:03Now you can leave the runway. Thank you.
33:11I think that it did really well this week.
33:13It is a very hard last challenge to do because, you know, normally I say,
33:17okay, this is your challenge. You all have the same thing.
33:20And now the sky was the limit. I always think that's harder.
33:22You know, some people maybe over challenge themselves,
33:25but knowing that this was like their last chance to really shine,
33:28like I think for Althea, like Althea is a great designer,
33:31but I think that she let us down today.
33:34Althea's was a mess in construction and it was unfinished,
33:38but she pushed herself to go the extra step.
33:43Let's talk about Irina.
33:45I like the inspiration that she chose, which is kind of part of it.
33:49And I think she did a really good job of executing that inspiration.
33:54From the bottom down, I felt like it was just dowdy.
33:58She has a very clear vision and it definitely did refer to the painting.
34:05Let's talk about Christopher.
34:07He does do these beautiful tops, but the bottom bit,
34:11it was almost like a thick jean skirt in a way.
34:15Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
34:16That reminded me.
34:17I have one of those from like way back when.
34:20It was doubly uncomfortable with the corset waist,
34:24so it was like all the things that you don't want to wear.
34:27The thing is, he still doesn't know that it was the wrong fabric.
34:30He hasn't worked enough to know what is the right fabric to choose.
34:34He has the ideas.
34:35It's just that technically he's not there yet.
34:38He has a lot of passion.
34:39I mean, he got this far.
34:40He's done beautiful work over the past few weeks.
34:46Let's talk about Carol Hanna.
34:48Carol Hanna has always been quite safe.
34:50I mean, she's.
34:51That was a pretty beautiful, sophisticated gown she did.
34:54She does have a bit of class.
34:56I mean, it was impeccably made out of all of these.
34:59Yes.
35:00Hers was the standout piece.
35:04Let's talk about Jordana.
35:06I love what she did today.
35:08I mean, for me, this was the closest to the inspiration.
35:11And one of her best outfits.
35:13Do you think she's always been edgy?
35:17I just think her aesthetic is more simple.
35:20Well, here's the other thing that I don't quite grasp about Jordana.
35:25I don't know who Jordana is as a designer.
35:28To not know it at this point is a problem.
35:31It's been hidden myth.
35:33I think this is definitely one of the toughest decisions that we've had.
35:41Yeah.
35:42But we've made our decision.
35:44Yes.
35:45Yeah.
35:46Let's bring them back up.
35:47Three of you will be going to Fashion Week.
36:00And two of you will be out.
