00:00Welcome to the new video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04This time, it's all about the newly introduced hybrid version of the 4th generation Schengen CS55+,
00:11which attracts attention with a revised design and slightly larger dimensions.
00:17The Chinese manufacturer Schengen has presented the compact SUV in a new plug-in hybrid variant
00:24and officially announced it in the new vehicle information from the Ministry of Industry.
00:30Particularly striking is the new front end, which stands out significantly from the previous model.
00:37Inspired by the Nex CS75+, the new face features a frameless radiator grille in a scale-like pattern
00:44as well as striking, irregularly-shaped headlights with an integrated C-shaped light bank.
00:50The rear has also undergone some changes.
00:53The taillights are now aligned horizontally and are complemented by an elegant light strip and a narrow chrome strip.
01:00The redesigned bumper and an additional chrome accent on the underbody round off the visual impression.
01:08While the sideline is largely the same as its predecessor,
01:11the shark fin trim strip behind the front fender is noticeable.
01:15The body length is now 4.5 meters.
01:19The width is 1.9 meters and the height is 1.7 meters.
01:25The wheelbase has been extended by 11 millimeters and now measures 2.7 meters,
01:31which gives the vehicle additional presence and probably also more interior space.
01:35Under the hood is a plug-in hybrid system,
01:40which consists of a 1.5L petrol engine with an output of 98 horsepower
01:45and an electric motor with a peak output of 215 horsepower.
01:52This combination should not only ensure efficient propulsion,
01:56but also a balanced driving experience between performance and economy.
02:00Exact details on the battery capacity or electric range have not yet been released,
02:07but are likely to follow in the coming weeks.
02:10The new Chang'an CS55 Plus is clearly aimed at buyers who are looking for modern design,
02:16efficiency and practical everyday usability,
02:19and all at a presumably very attractive price.
02:22In China, the model is expected to be launched for the equivalent of around 20,000 euros,
02:29which makes it particularly interesting in the segment of compact SUVs with hybrid drive.
