00:00And that's why we're here today to put you and one of these beasts in a place they were born to run because once you feel the power of a dodge you know that these belong to us.
00:30Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog, where today we're talking about the new Dodge Charger 6-pack with a 6-cylinder engine that's causing a stir in the USA.
00:53The upcoming gasoline engine of the legendary muscle car will be equipped with standard all-wheel drive, which can be converted to rear-wheel drive if required, and will be available in two performance levels.
01:06The base model RT delivers an impressive 420 horsepower and around 635 newm of torque from a 3-liter Hurricane Twin 6-cylinder with Baturbo engine.
01:17The top model SCATPAC, on the other hand, delivers a whopping 550 horsepower and around 720 newm of torque, also from a 3-liter Baturbo 6-cylinder, combined with a newly tuned 8-speed Torflight automatic transmission.
01:35In terms of acceleration, Dutchki is aiming for a time of around 3.9 seconds for the SCATPAC from 0-96 km per hour and a quarter-mile in around 12.2 seconds.
01:49The price of the Charger 6-pack starts at around €44,600 in the USA, while the more powerful and better-equipped versions cost up to around €55,000.
02:00Technically, the car offers, depending on the equipment, a rear-limited-slip differential, launch control, line-log software, and active exhaust and performance pages in the infotainment system.
02:15The SCATPAC also gets six-piston brake calipers from Brembo and large 20x10-inch diamond-cut wheels.
02:23Wider 20x11-inch wheels with 305 tires are available on request.
02:28Visually, the petrol engine differs slightly from the electric version.
02:33The distinctive airwing front opening gives way to a classic radiator grille to allow for better cooling and the suspension has been changed to a forged multi-link design at the front and an independent four-link suspension at the rear.
02:49Dodge promises more neutral and stable handling as well as a reduction in understeer by around 25% compared to the previous model.
02:58The two-door SCATPAC can be ordered in the US from August 11th with deliveries in the second half of 2025, while the cheaper RTI in the four-door versions will not follow until the first half of 2026.
03:14And according to Dodge boss Matt McCallie, anyone hoping for a V8 can be quite optimistic that it will find its way under the hood in the future.
