00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X, the hypercar boogeyman from the USA.
00:10With the 2026 model year, General Motors is bringing a real technological highlight to the streets that could give European super sports cars a run for their money.
00:19The ZR1X combines a twin-turbo V8 with a powerful electric motor, delivering an impressive system output of 250 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,320 Nm.
00:35The sprint to 100 kilometers per hour is said to take place in under 2 seconds, a value that makes even significantly more expensive cars look old.
00:43What's particularly exciting is that the front axle continuously delivers its additional power up to around 256 kilometers per hour before the V8 takes over on its own.
00:54The battery with a capacity of 1.9 kWh is located deep in the chassis and is charged by recuperation.
01:02Thanks to torque vectoring, launch control and a push-to-pass system, the driving dynamics are at the highest level.
01:08Chevrolet also sets standards in braking performance with carbon ceramic brakes.
01:15The chassis adapts electronically to the conditions and a high downforce aerodynamics package is optionally available.
01:22The Corvette ZR1X is offered as both a coupe and a convertible.
01:27The interior is more spacious with three screens, new colors and high-quality materials.
01:32The price is likely to be significantly higher than the approximately 168,000 euros of the previous ZR1.
01:40It is still unclear whether the model will officially come to Germany.
01:44If so, the only option is to purchase it via an importer.
01:49As always, you can find the link to read the article in the video description.
