00:03Today it's all about the new all-electric 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona Sedan,
00:08which is making history as the world's first four-door muscle car.
00:13Its official first test drive will take place on May 21, 2025,
00:18at the Mama Spring Rally in Elkhard Lake, Wisconsin.
00:22The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack remains the fastest and most powerful muscle car in the world,
00:28and is available as both a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe.
00:33Apart from the additional doors, the two variants differ little.
00:38Visually, they share a roofline, tailgate, and front and rear compartments.
00:43Despite having four doors, the wide, powerful look that is typical of the Charger is retained.
00:49Particularly striking is that the Charger has the widest body of any current vehicle.
00:53Inside, the four-door version with a hidden tailgate not only offers best-in-class cargo and passenger capacity,
01:01but also a driver-centric cockpit.
01:04The rear row of seats scores points with generous headroom.
01:08The maximum cargo volume is the equivalent of around 1.1 cubic meters.
01:13About 133% more than its predecessor.
01:15Both variants offer various driving modes such as Sport, Track, Drag, and Custom as standard,
01:22as well as special racing options such as Drift and Donut modes, Launch Control, and other race preparation functions.
01:29The patented Fronic Chamber Exhaust provides the distinctive Dodge sound, which intensifies with increasing power.
01:37In addition, the patented Rooing at the front improves aerodynamics and underscores the aggressive appearance.
01:43The standard PowerShot function delivers a power increase of approximately 40 horsepower for 10 seconds.
01:52The optional track package features massive 40-centimeters Brembo brakes with red six-piston calipers at the front
01:58and four-piston calipers at the rear, the largest braking system ever installed in a Dutch car.
02:05Also included is the largest tire package to date, with 51-centimeters wheels.
02:10All-wheel drive is standard, as is a mechanical limited-slip differential.
02:16Regenerative braking and one-pedal driving can be controlled in three stages using paddle shifters.
02:22Inside, the driver is greeted by a freestanding 40-centimeters instrument cluster
02:27and a 31-centimeters infotainment display with wireless connectivity to Android Auto,
02:32Apple CarPlay, Alexa, as well as performance and EV-specific pages.
02:36Other highlights include a pistol grip gear shift, a new speaker audio system with subwoofer,
02:43dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless go with remote start.
02:47In terms of safety, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot detection with
02:53active lane guidance, traffic sign recognition, drowsiness warning, all-around parking assistant,
02:58automatic high-beam control, a rain sensor, an emergency call system, and more are standard.
03:03The maximum range is approximately 388 kilometers.
03:08A quick charge from 20-80% takes just 24 minutes at a level 3 charging station.
03:14Thanks to a combination charging cable, charging is possible from both household and high-voltage outlets.
03:20The basis is the Starge platform, which is prepared for both fully electric all-wheel drive with a 400-volt dual-motor system
03:28and for combustion engines with all-wheel drive.
03:32A version with around 550 horsepower will follow this year with the six-pack, powerful twin-turbo six-cylinder engine.
03:39New options such as the Fratzog double-stripes in match black with red accents and a hand-painted hood in gloss black are available,
03:49as are a variety of equipment packages.
03:50From the Track Package and the Plus G Group Package with ambient lighting in 64 colors,
03:59LED headlights, a wireless charging platform, and a 360-degrees camera to the Carbon Insult Package
04:05with leather Alcantara seats, carbon accents, and a premium sound system with 18 speakers.
04:10In terms of performance, the Track Pack version delivers approximately 670 horsepower and around 850 newton meters of torque.
04:19The sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour takes just 3.3 seconds.
04:25The quarter mile is completed in 11.5 seconds.
04:29Full power is enabled X-Works.

04:32The Track Package equipment will be available as a standalone option in the future.
04:36The interior is also based on the classic 1968 Charger.
04:42The lines, the freestanding screens, the attitude adjustment lighting mood,
