00:07The latest model in Subaru's growing electric portfolio and a real highlight for fans of the brand.
00:14Under the familiar name E-Outback, Subaru is launching a vehicle on the European market that was already introduced in the US as the Trail Seeker and is based on the Toyota BZ4X Touring.
00:25With this, Subaru is staying true to its line of developing electric models in collaboration with alliance partner Toyota.
00:33As previously with the Solterra and the announced Uncharted,
00:37the Subaru E-Outback offers the proven qualities of its petrol-powered sibling, i.e. robustness, versatility and everyday suitability.
00:45Combined with modern electrical technology, two electric motors, one per axle, together deliver around 380 horsepower.
00:55The energy supply is provided by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of around 75 kWh, which should enable a range of around 450 km according to WLTP.
01:07The maximum charging capacity is estimated at around 150 kVA.
01:12However, specific charging times are still pending.
01:15The acceleration is also impressive.

01:24At the same time, it remains practical.
01:27With a towing capacity of up to 1.5 tons and a ground clearance of 21 cm, it is clearly equipped for light off-road use.
01:35This is supported by various off-road programs.
01:39Visually, the E-Outback remains true to the Outback tradition.
01:42It presents itself as a powerful, raised station wagon with a distinctive light signature, illuminated Subaru logo and robustly designed wheel arches.
01:52The vehicle is approximately 4.8 meters long, 1.9 meters wide, around 1.7 meters high and has a wheelbase of around 2.9 meters.
02:03Inside, the E-Outback scores with a modern cockpit that is characterized by a horizontal design and high-quality appearance.
02:10At the center is a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
02:20A digital instrument cluster, inductive charging cradle and a variety of storage areas increase comfort.
02:26Visual accents in a metal look add a touch of shine to the interior's plastic world.
02:31The Subaru E-Outback is also well-equipped in terms of safety.
02:36The EID system includes numerous assistance functions, including an emergency braking system, blind spot warning, cross-traffic warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and much more.
02:47The Subaru E-Outback is scheduled to launch in Europe in summer 2026.
