00:04Today, we're going to talk about the interior update of the 2025 Kia Sportage.
00:09Kia has given its successful model a noticeable facelift, which is particularly evident in the interior.
00:16While the exterior has been subtly revised, the new model version places great emphasis on modern design,
00:22high-quality materials and a significant increase in technology in the interior.
00:26Probably the most striking new feature is the large curved panel that stretches across the dashboard and houses two 12.3-inch screens.
00:39This system comes standard with the new CCNC infotainment system, which stands for Connected Car Navigation Cockpit.
00:48It not only provides a clear display of navigation data, but also offers wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
00:56Thanks to over-the-air updates, the software is always up to date.
01:01Many functions can be controlled via voice control with artificial intelligence and even apps such as YouTube, Netflix or Disney Plus can be downloaded directly into the vehicle.
01:11This almost turns the sports car into a mobile entertainment center.
01:16Kia now also offers an optional 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, which allows up to five devices to go online at the same time.
01:23Another highlight is the new 10-inch head-up display and a revised surround view camera, which can display the vehicle in 3D from a bird's eye view.
01:36Small but sensible changes can also be found in the control unit below the touchscreen.
01:40The so-called multi-mode control has been optimized to allow even faster access to important functions such as the air conditioning or infotainment.
01:51The steering wheel has also been revised and now features two spokes instead of the previous three.
01:57In terms of safety, the Sportage continues to be at the top of its segment.
02:01The extensive Adash Equipment Advanced Driver Assistance Systems now includes, among other things, a second-generation adaptive cruise control,
02:11which uses navigation data to adjust the speed in anticipation of the future and has a stop-and-go function.
02:19If the driver is no longer able to react, the system can bring the vehicle to a standstill independently and safely, activating the hazard warning lights.
02:27In the rear, the Sportage scores with generous legroom.
02:32The rear passengers have almost one meter of space available, which provides noticeable comfort, especially on long journeys.
02:39The seats are comfortable, well-contoured and offer sufficient lateral support.
02:45The Sportage also impresses with its trunk volume.
02:47The cargo volume is almost 600L and can be expanded to around 1,800L by folding down the rear seats.
02:57This places it at the top end of its segment.
03:01It is important to note that the plug-in hybrid versions lose some cargo space due to the battery components,
03:06but they are still suitable for everyday use.
03:08Kia has not yet provided any precise information on the price,
03:14but experts expect that the new models could start at around âŹ30,000 in the basic version.
03:20Of course, significantly higher prices are also possible depending on the equipment and drivetrain.
