00:03Today we're talking about the new Hyundai Palace Palisade XLT Pro,
00:07which, with its robust off-road character,
00:10represents an exciting addition to the manufacturer's SUV range.
00:14At this year's New York International Auto Show,
00:18Hyundai not only unveiled the revised version of the Palisade for the 2026 model year,
00:22but also presented a new, particularly off-road capable variant, the XRT Pro.
00:30This isn't just a visual overhaul.
00:34The XRT Pro features serious technical improvements for use off-road.
00:40It is available exclusively with a new 3.5LV6 naturally aspirated engine,
00:46which delivers approximately 291 horsepower and around 353 Nm of torque.
00:52In combination with the standard hard truck all-wheel drive
00:56and an 8-speed automatic transmission with multi-disc converter,
01:00the drive is designed especially for high towing capacity and off-road capability.
01:05The maximum towing capacity is around 2,300 kg.
01:10The XRT Pro distinguishes itself with a ground clearance increased by around 2.5 cm to 21.3 cm
01:18and improved off-road performance with a 20.5 degrees approach angle,
01:22a 8.3 degrees breakover angle, and a 22.4 degrees departure angle.
01:30This is complemented by an exclusive electronically controlled limited slip differential on the rear axle,
01:36which further increases traction on difficult terrain.
01:39New driving modes such as mud, sand, and snow, as well as hill descent control and a special trailer mode,
01:46further underscore the vehicle's off-road capability.
01:49A factory-installed trailer hitchhook, elegantly concealed behind a panel, is also standard.
01:58Visually, the XRT Pro stands out with its muscular front end with distinctive underbody protection
02:03and red tow hooks at the front and rear.
02:05The 18-inch alloy wheels in a dark finish are fitted with deep-tread 255-60R18 all-terrain tires.
02:15Black accents on the grille, wheel arches, and window frames, as well as a special XRT Pro emblem at the rear,
02:22round out the rugged appearance.
02:23The XRT Pro also offers comfortable features inside.
02:27These include heated and ventilated seats in HTEX synthetic leather, a heated steering wheel,
02:34a premium sound system with 14 speakers from Bose, atmospheric ambient lighting, and an H-115-volt power outlet.
02:42A large panoramic sunroof further creates an airy feeling.
02:48Camera systems with a surround view, a ground camera, and displays for pitch angle, compass, and altimeter
02:54provide additional visibility off-road.
02:57The new Palisade XRT Pro is expected at dealerships in the US from early summer 2025.
03:05Although Hyundai has not yet announced the exact price, it is likely to be higher than the current Palisade XRT,
03:11which starts at around $45,500 in the United States, approximately 41,000 euros.
