00:24The Hyundai IONIQ 5XLT is an exciting off-road version of the popular electric vehicle and is celebrating its premiere in the USA with the launch of the revised IONIQ 5.

00:44Based on the all-wheel drive version of the IONIQ 5, the XRT has a powerful 84 kWh battery and two motors.

01:06The ground clearance has been increased by a full 23mm, giving it a robust profile.
01:11And the matte black 18-inch alloy wheels are fitted with all-terrain tires in size 235-60R18 to really cope with any terrain.
01:25The approach angles have also been adjusted, so that they now reach 19.8 degrees at the front and 30 degrees at the rear,
01:32compared to the 17.5 degrees and 25.4 degrees of the standard model.
01:36These changes make the XRT suitable for light terrain and emphasize its off-road qualities.
01:44But the IONIQ 5XRT stands out from the standard model not only technically, but also visually.
01:50The front and rear aprons have been redesigned and are equipped with additional bumpers.
01:54Side skirts and a striking camouflage pattern, which consists of numerous differently colored squares and is based on the characteristic IONIQ pixels, complete the look.

02:18There is a choice of two exclusive colors, Ultimate Red and Cosmic Blue Pearl, which give the model a particularly strong presence.

02:40Hyundai has also included all-weather floor mats, which give the vehicle a practical touch for weatherproof use.
02:45So far, the IONIQ 5XRT is only intended for the American market and is produced directly by Hyundai in North America.
