00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:05Today we're talking about the new Porsche 911 Carrera T available as a coupe and convertible.
00:11With the 992 facelift, Porsche is once again bringing back a purist version that comes with a manual 6-speed transmission as standard.
00:20Unlike the GT models, the transmission here is based on the familiar 7-speed manual gearbox,
00:26but without the 7th gear to do justice to the sporty character.
00:30Under the hood is a 3-liter turbo boxer with 394 horsepower and 450 Newton meters.
00:37It accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds.
00:41The top speed is 295 kilometers per hour in the coupe and 293 in the convertible.
00:47Although slower than the automatic, it is more emotional to drive thanks to the sports exhaust system,
00:53reduced insulation and automatic double-declutching function.
00:57Porsche saves around 40 kilograms in weight on the Carrera T through lightweight glazing,
01:01less insulation and optional full bucket seats.
01:05In addition, there is a more direct steering ratio, rear axle steering,
01:09sports suspension with 10 millimeters lowering and special anti-roll bars.
01:13All for more dynamics.
01:15Visually, the Carrera T can be recognized by vanadium gray accents,
01:19scarf pattern stickers and a GTS spoiler lip.
01:22Inside, Porsche relies on black materials with contrasting stitching,
01:26a walnut gear knob, sport tech seats in a check pattern and shift pattern logos.
01:31Prices start at around €142,000 for the coupe and around €156,000 for the convertible.
01:37Each is €13,000 more than the standard model.
01:41The T stands for Touring, a concept with a focus on driving pleasure, directness and reduction.
