00:10The large SUV, developed in cooperation with Saris, was officially unveiled in China and offers both a variant with an extended range extender and a fully electric model.
00:19The Edo M9 has already been delivered since February 2024 and has sold around 171,000 units and is enjoying high demand.
00:32In order to continue this success, a revised version has now been presented, the sales of which started in China on March 20th.
00:39Visually, the Edo M9 remains true to its line, but still features some minor changes.
00:44The front is dominated by striking headlights with a continuous LED strip, a minimalist bumper and a large air intake.
00:54At the rear, the model stands out with its eye-catching glove-shaped taillight graphics.
01:00Black B&C pillars, recessed door handles and multi-spoke wheels are also part of the design.
01:06New features include a striking red alloy wheel in combination with both A&D pillars as well as optionally available 21-inch rims.

01:23With a length of 5.2 meters, a width of 2 meters, a height of 1.8 meters and a wheelbase of 3.1 meters, the Edo M9 is a full-size SUV.

01:38The center console is equipped with a huge triple screen, consisting of a 12.3-inch LCD instrument display, a 15.6-inch main screen and a 16-inch display for the front passenger.
01:51New features include an electrically adjustable thigh support for the driver's seat, a revised projector and a new cooling and heating compartment for drinks or snacks.
02:02The driver assistance system has been significantly further developed.
02:08Thanks to the four load sensors, it supports safe navigation through parking barriers, roundabouts and complex road conditions.
02:15It also now offers a cross-level parking function with automatic recognition of ramps, inclines, declines and curves.
02:23Another special feature is the Huawei Galaxy Satellite Communication Module, which enables continuous driver calls, even in the absence of mobile phone coverage.
02:36In the EF version, i.e. with range extender, the previous 42 kW battery has been replaced by a 52 kW NMC battery, which enables an electric range of around 290 kilometers according to the CRTC standard.
02:49The new 1.5-litre turbo gasoline engine as a range extender now delivers 160 horsepower.
02:57In combination with two electric motors and all-wheel drive, the Edo M9 IRF achieves a total output of 496 horsepower and a combined range of around 1,500 kilometers.
03:09The fully electric version remains technically unchanged.
03:12It has a 100 kW NMC battery and, thanks to two electric motors, delivers 530 horsepower.
03:19The electric range is 630 kilometers according to the CLTC.
03:26The starting price for the new model year of the Edo M9 is around €60,000.
03:32A total of seven equipment variants are available.
