00:04about the new plug-in hybrid SUV WYY07 from Great Wall Motor, which is now also being
00:09launched outside of China. The model is marketed under the premium sub-brand way and can already
00:15be pre-ordered. The official market launch of this SUV is planned for the beginning of October.
00:22In China, the WIO7 costs between around 38,000 euros and just under 42,000 euros.
00:28Prices for other markets, including Europe, have not yet been announced.
00:35With a length of 5.2 meters and a wheelbase of 3.1 meters,
00:39the WY7 is largely the same as the Wei Luncharn already available in China.
00:46Visually, the models are almost identical, but the overseas version lacks the roof-mounted
00:51navigation system of the Lenshin Intelligent Driving Edition. There are also slight differences
00:56in the interior. While the front passenger in the Chinese version has its own entertainment screen,
01:03the WEN07 instead has additional physical buttons below the central control screen.
01:12Comfort features include a heated steering wheel,
01:14three-zone air conditioning and an audio system with 16 speakers.
01:18The WEN07 is powered by a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and
01:26two electric motors. Together, they generate a total output of 517 horsepower and a torque of 930
01:34newton meters. This enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.9 seconds
01:42and reach a top speed of 190 kilometers per hour. The battery has a capacity of 42.5 kilowatt hours and
01:50enables a purely electric range of up to 2,001 kilometers according to commercial vehicles.
01:57The interior of the vehicle offers space for six people.
02:02Both the first and second rows of seats are equipped with heating, ventilation and a massage function.
02:07There is also a small table in the second row. The trunk has a capacity of almost 239 L in its normal
02:15state. With the seats folded down, the volume increases to just over 1000 L. The ground clearance
02:22is 0.2 meters. The safety features include modern driver assistance systems such as automatic
02:29emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
02:35The WEN07 is therefore not only powerful, but also offers a high level of technology.
02:42Great Wall Motor has been represented on the European market with its Aura-Wari brands since 2022,
02:47including in Germany and Great Britain.
02:52In Germany, sales have been handled by Emil Frey since November 2023.
02:57The current portfolio includes models such as the WEN-5, which impresses with an electric range of up
03:02to 158 kilometers. However, the W07 is not yet sold in Germany, as homologation for the German market
03:12is still pending. Technical data, consumption and emission values will be announced before the
