00:17With the WR-XTS, Subaru is launching a variant that comes very close to the highly sought-after WRX STI,

00:31the WR-XTS comes pretty close to the STI feel and could be the best we'll get from the WRX in the foreseeable future.
00:39The WR-XTS is based on the same formula as the BRZ-TS and features specially tuned suspension and numerous visual highlights in blue.
00:49But the WR-XTS goes one step further.
00:52Subaru has installed adaptive shock absorbers that are STI-tuned.
00:55Thanks to the Subaru Drive Mode Select system, which was previously only available on the WRX GT,
01:01drivers can adjust the dampers to their liking and choose between comfort, normal, and sport modes.
01:07Combined with high-performance Brembo brakes with six pistons in the front and two pistons in the rear,
01:13as well as grippy Bridgestone Potenza S7 tires,
01:16the WR-XTS should be absolutely convincing on winding roads.
01:19Unfortunately, the output of the 2.4-liter turbo engine remains unchanged at 271 horsepower,
01:28but this should be more than enough for most driving enthusiasts.
01:31Visually, the WR-XTS also stands out from the other WR-X models.
01:36The unmistakable blue paint, special satin black 19-inch rims, TS badges as well as black painted mirrors,
01:44a dash panel and a rear spoiler give the car a sporty, elegant touch.
