00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today it's about the new Renault Traffic Ettec Electric.
00:06The all-electric all-rounder for commercial customers.
00:10Renault is considered a pioneer in the field of electric commercial vehicles
00:14and with the Traffic Etch Electric, it is now presenting a model that sets the standard
00:18both on the basis of proven success and incorporating the latest technologies.
00:24Since its market launch in 1980, more than 2.5 million traffic models have been produced.
00:30The latest, fourth-generation is presented as an SDV, or software-defined vehicle,
00:38which stays up-to-date through continuous updates via the cloud.
00:42A true milestone in digitalization and transport.
00:47The new Traffic was constructed on a special skateboard platform
00:51that houses the battery in the underbody and the drive in the rear.
00:55This not only ensures a low center of gravity and optimal use of space,
00:59but also a small turning circle of 10.3 meters, comparable to that of a Clio.
01:06With a length of 4.87 meters in the L1 version and 5.20 meters in the L2 variant,
01:13the van offers a cargo volume of up to 5.8 cubic meters.
01:17The maximum height, reduced to 1.90 meters, also makes it suitable for underground parking.
01:23Renault relies on two battery options for the drive system.
01:27A standard battery with LFPT technology enables a range of around 350 kilometers.
01:33The long-range variant with NMC cells achieves around 450 kilometers.
01:38Both values are based on preliminary WRTP data.
01:41The new 800-volt technology, a first for Renault, ensures fast charging brakes.
01:47The battery can be charged from 15% to 80% in under 20 minutes.
01:53Ideal for everyday work.
01:55The electric motor produces 150 kilowatts, which corresponds to approximately 204 horsepower,
02:02and delivers 345 newm of torque.
02:05With an efficiency of 95%, the system converts almost all of the energy into propulsion,
02:11a clear advantage over conventional drives.
02:13The drive system is complemented by vehicle-to-load functions,
02:18which enable the operation of external devices such as laptops or tools directly from the vehicle battery.
02:25The design is also modern and functional.
02:28The short front overhang, an aerodynamic body with a one-box style,
02:33and the light strip with a backlit logo and LED daytime running lights give the traffic a futuristic character.
02:39Black body elements provide contrast and robustness.
02:46The rear section features a three-dimensional light signature, a first for Renault.
02:51The interior is well thought out and offers a high-quality cockpit with two screens,
02:5710 inches in the instrument cluster and 12 inches in the center console,
03:01as well as numerous storage compartments and stowage areas for everyday work.
03:05A particular focus is on SDV technology.
03:09This not only enables automatic software updates but also enables the integration of customized operating systems
03:15into the proprietary multimedia system.
03:18This allows logistics companies or municipalities to seamlessly integrate the vehicle into their existing digital processes.
03:25The new Karo's operating system is based on Android and supports Google services such as Assistant,
03:32the Play Store, and special navigation solutions for commercial vehicles.
03:37In addition, the system recognizes driving style and can, for example,
03:42predict tire wear in real-time to minimize maintenance costs.
03:45Everything is controlled via the MyRenault app, which allows charging, air conditioning,
03:52and location management to be easily managed via smartphone.
03:57This technological upgrade not only gives traffic high utility value,
04:01but also ensures that its market value is maintained in the long term through ongoing upgrades.
04:06The Traffic Etec Electric is manufactured at the French plant in Sanduvie,
04:12where the combustion engine versions also roll off the production line.
04:17This continuity underscores the manufacturer's high-quality standards.
04:22With the new Traffic,
04:24Renault is taking a major step towards sustainable mobility for commercial customers
04:28who rely on efficiency, flexibility, and future-proofing.
