00:00Welcome to the video of the Car Magazine Tuning Blog. Today we're talking about a very special
00:10vehicle. The IMV Augusta AB City Sport Air, an urban e-bike that feels right at home not only
00:16on the road, but also on gravel trails. This gem combines the expertise of two renowned brands.
00:23IMV Augusta, known for its motorcycles since 1945, and AB Sportline, the Bavarian tuning
00:30specialist that has been making history since 1896. Together, they have created an e-bike that
00:36combines modern technology with urban versatility. The frame of the Cityport Air is made of lightweight
00:43aluminum and incorporates design elements reminiscent of mountain bikes. Particularly
00:49striking is the steeply sloping top tube, which not only makes it easy to get on and off,
00:54but also offers space for adventures outside the city. The design was inspired by the existing
01:00IMV Augusta Amory. However, the City Sport Air scores with an even more pronounced lean angle,
01:07which ensures riding fun even on rough gravel trails. Another highlight is the seamless integration of
01:14the battery into the frame. With a capacity of 248 watt-hours, the silhouette of the bike remains
01:21slim and elegant. This means that it not only looks like a conventional bicycle, but also feels like
01:28one, right up until the moment the male motor starts working. With an output of 250 watts and 40
01:36Newton meters of torque, it provides support, especially on steep climbs and fast starts, without compromising the
01:42natural riding experience. The range is up to 75 kilometers under optimal conditions, although inclines
01:51and uneven surfaces can of course drain the battery more quickly. The fork of the Cityport Air is made
01:58of high-quality carbon and, despite its rigidity, provides pleasant vibration dampening on urban roads.
02:06Those who opt for the gravel version can look forward to a Fox 32 Axe Factory TC suspension fork,
02:11which impresses with up to 40 millimeters of travel. That's significantly more than the usual 30
02:18millimeters that is standard on gravel bikes and makes this bike a real off-road weapon.
02:25Pirelli tires, 42C for the road and 45C for the gravel version, ensure comfort and grip.
02:33With a Shimano 10-speed shifting system, Magira brakes and numerous mounting points for luggage,
02:38the Cityport Air is a versatile companion for city and country.
02:44The weight of 14.5 kilograms for the standard version and 15.5 kilograms for the gravel model
02:50is impressively low and underlines the technical finesse of this e-bike.
02:56By comparison, many other e-bikes weigh almost twice as much.
03:02Unfortunately, there is no official price for the Cityport Air yet, but a look at its sister model,
03:07the Gravel Air, which was sold for 9,000 euros, suggests that we will also be riding in the luxury class here.
03:15If you are curious, you can keep an eye on the Kickstarter campaign through which EMV Augusta
03:19is currently gathering interest in the bike.
