00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today it's all about the new Track FX Plus One, Track's first e-bike with a throttle,
00:09marking a real departure from the manufacturer's previous philosophy.
00:14Track is one of the world's most well-known bicycle brands,
00:17but until now they have always consciously decided against models with throttles.
00:21That's over now, because the FX Plus One ushers in a new era.
00:25The FX Plus One is an electrified version of the well-known FX fitness bike and remains a true
00:31all-rounder. Light, agile, affordable, and suitable for a wide variety of surfaces.
00:39But the real star is the throttle. This suddenly makes pedaling optional.
00:44The bike can be ridden like a moped at the touch of a button.
00:48A thumb throttle activates a motor built into the rear wheel, presumably from a hyena,
00:52which delivers up to 60 Nm of torque. With both the throttle and pedal assistance,
00:58speeds of up to 32 km per hour are possible. For those who want something even sportier,
01:05there's the FX Plus One S. This model supports pedaling speeds of up to 45 km per hour,
01:11although this isn't permitted everywhere. In California, for example, it's not street legal.
01:16This makes it ideal for those who just want to relax after the strenuous part of the ride,
01:23as the FX was always intended as a fitness or sports bike, and that's how it should be used.
01:31A 540 Watt-hour battery integrated into the downtube provides the necessary range.
01:37Track states a maximum range of 80 km per charge.
01:40Charging is done with the new Easy Make Charger, a magnetic system that easily attaches to the bike
01:48and also features a display to show the charge level.
01:52It's compact enough to be carried in a backpack or on a luggage rack.
01:58Speaking of luggage, the aluminum frame offers numerous mounting points for accessories and a luggage rack.
02:03This makes the FX Plus One suitable not only for commuting, but also for longer tours including stopovers and camping trips.
02:13Tires with a width of up to 50 mm make the bike suitable for off-road use.
02:19Ideal for urban routes and easy terrain.
02:23Additional features include a simple Shimano e-gear system, hydraulic brakes, and numerous components from Bohr Tranger.
02:30The total weight is just under 22 kg in size medium, solid for an e-bike of this class, neither ultralight nor cumbersome.
02:39The track remains reasonable in terms of price.
02:42Both models, the FX Plus One and F Plus One S, cost around €1,850 each.
02:48This is the recommended retail price, although regional variations are possible.
02:53So, there's a bit of room for negotiation.
