00:41mind-blowing to me so so what were you doing before then i was really just trying to pursue music
00:48um as a singer songwriter um i lived in montana for a long time and then oregon and a lot of
00:54pacific northwest kind of music scene stuff so i was playing a lot of like bars and street corners and
01:00you know whatnot from the time i was 16 years old and um i didn't really have a lot of music
01:06connections so it was really just kind of putting all of myself into it and doing my best with what
01:11i had and that meant entering a lot of online contests and um just trying everything that i
01:18could posting covers online and doing everything like that and um eventually some things started
