00:03I never use AI. I think it's awful, but in your world, what is it like?
00:12I mean, look, as a musician, I hate it. As a musician, I hate it for, you know, if I'm
00:19writing
00:19stuff and I use ChatGPT and I need some CR, if I need to look up something really quick,
00:24it's great for that. If I don't want to hire a lawyer and I need a document review,
00:29hell yeah, I'll do that. But, you know, here's the thing, it's not going to go away. And it's like
00:35when Pro Tools first came out, everyone was a diehard, like audio file guy that was like, you
00:40know, I only record on tape. I only record on ADAT. Like, you know, and the formats always switch.
00:45So then Pro Tools came out, everyone was against that. I think AI as a tool will be really beneficial
00:50as a tool. It's like, hey, I need to create a string part real quick for a demo, or I
00:54need to
00:55get a, you know, for someone who can't sing, I need to get a vocal melody across to a singer
01:00that can sing. I think for that type of thing, it's a very useful tool. And I think for producers,
01:06it's very useful. It's when it's relied upon and when people use it to exchange for art that I have
01:13a problem with. It's like when you take the human element out of it and you just like, hey, I
01:17wrote
01:17a song and they give you a song that's done by Suno. And it's like, here's the song, but it's
01:22not really
01:22written by them and nobody put it in chord changes. And Suno prompted the song. That's
01:26when I like, I'm like, I cringe.
