00:00If the Yankees lose this series, and again, there's still a lot of baseball left to be played,
00:05do you think that that would be the end, or should it be the end of the Aaron Boone era?
00:10I don't think, I'd be surprised if it was.
00:14You know, I think there hasn't been a ton that, you know, strategy-wise,
00:18that he hasn't done in this DS.
00:21It's just been, you know, their biggest stars haven't, you know,
00:26their best players haven't delivered so far.
00:27You know, I've got to go back to that sixth inning, game one.
00:31That seems like it changes the momentum, and, you know, if they end up losing this series,
00:36I think that's going to be kind of the defining moment of it,
00:39where the series could have swung in the Yankees' favor.
00:41But, yeah, I don't think so.
00:44You never say never.
00:45We'll see.
00:46But, you know, he did just sign an extension before this season.
00:49You know, he still has that clubhouse that has the support, especially from Aaron Judge.
00:55I think Brian Cashman loves him, defends him, you know, at every turn when we ask about him.
01:01I think the same for Hal Steinbrenner, who obviously will have the ultimate call there.
01:05But we'll see.
01:06Obviously, you know, going out in a sweep in the LDS would not be good.
01:12But, yeah, I think at this point it would be a bit of a surprise if that would cost him his job.
01:19But, you know, we'll see how it ends up and if they're able to kind of make a series out of this one.
