00:00Aaron Boone opened up his mouth about Aaron Judge's elbow, and now he's officially put himself in a lose-lose situation as a manager.
00:08So those of you who don't know, Boone basically said he wasn't confident that we won't see that Aaron Judge back in the outfield and throwing like he normally does for the rest of the season.
00:18That got back to Judge like a bad review on the T-app, and he fired back saying,
00:22He hasn't seen me throw in the past two weeks. I'm pretty confident I'll be back to 100%.
00:28And there you had the folks.
00:30If this little misspeak or miscommunication turns into something bigger by the end of the season, which it probably will because this is New York and the media has now smelled some sort of blood or dissension,
00:42a lot of y'all are going to get what you want, and Aaron Boone just might be gone at the end of the season.
00:47He's put himself in a bad position because it's either you keep your superstar out of center field because, like you pretty much said, the elbow ain't ready for him to be throwing,
00:58or you backtrack on what you say and you put them back out there, and that makes you look even worse because the one of the knocks on you is that the players do what they want and they get what they want.
01:11Aaron Judge isn't that type of player where you make an example out of. The roles are basically reversed here. The fan base is going to side with Aaron Judge and stand by him for sure.
01:24Now, the person or persons I don't envy is the Yankees PR staff. Good luck cleaning this up and keeping it quiet for the rest of the season because the media is going to ask about this every day from here on out.
