00:00One thing that sticks out on this matchup is the Blue Jays put the ball in play as well as anyone and it really hurt the Yankees in the summer and those matchups that they had. Do you think Aaron Boone is going to make any adjustments to try and, I guess, counter that Blue Jays advantage?
00:15Yeah, I think the adjustment is just having a better defense overall. Like McMahon wasn't involved in most of those games against the Blue Jays, especially here. You know, they had seven games here during the summer and I think there was 11 errors in seven games. It was pretty brutal.
00:28So, you know, some of those were from Volpe, some were from Jazz. Obviously, those guys are still here, but Jazz is at second base now where he's better defensively. You've got McMahon at third base.
00:40You know, he's just a ā they really seem to have tightened things up defensively over the last month, you know, the last six weeks of the season and did it again, you know, in the wild card series.
00:51They looked pretty good. I think the only error was a throwing error from Carlos Rodon in the bunt.
00:55But there was a lot more big play, big defensive plays that helped save them in some games, two and three.
01:00So, they seem to be playing their best defense right now, but now it's going to be a big test here on the turf at Rogers Center that has given them some problems.
01:08And a place that's kind of been a little bit of a house of ours.
01:12Like you said, the Blue Jays kind of forced the issue putting the ball in play, using their speed to their advantage, a little bit like the Red Sox in that regard.
01:19But, you know, they made things tough on the Yankees here during the regular season.
01:24So, the Yankees are going to have to be pretty sharp defensively, but they do seem like they've kind of buttoned it up.
01:30And in the outfield, too, like Jason Dominguez was still playing in the outfield when we were here this summer.
01:34And obviously, now it's Bellinger, Grisham, Judd in that outfield.
01:37So, you know, overall, they just seem to have a more solidified defense and obviously have to keep that up here.
