00:01Illusion, the art of tricking the brain,
00:05distorting the senses, challenging perception.
00:08You can't trust what you see even with your own eyes.
00:12Meet the Masters of Illusion.
00:30Get ready to be dazzled by the art of the impossible.
00:50I'm Dean Cain and you're watching Masters of Illusion.
00:54Now magic, it's more than just tricks.
00:59It's a journey into the unknown
01:01where the impossible becomes possible
01:04and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
01:07Now I'm here to take you on that journey tonight
01:09as we witness some of the most mind-looking...
01:11Okay, I made it. I made it. I made it.
01:13I made it. We're in good shape.
01:15Am I on this?
01:17I don't know. Yeah, you're right now.
01:18But no, Dean, you're sorry.
01:19I had a horrible connection layover in Palm Desert.
01:21It was awful, you know, Coachella.
01:23But I went outside the airport
01:24and there was this weird trust fund hippy kid with a sign.
01:26He sold me candy. It tasted like soap. It's disgusting.
01:28And as he took off his cap, the cap opened up like a vortex
01:30and I walked into it. It became a magical forest
01:32as his dreadlocks cascaded over his shoulders
01:34and a piece of Dorito chip emerged.
01:35Disgusting.
01:36And I want to go in your imagination much like that right now.
01:38I want you to experience that. This is his hat.
01:40He took off his hat. They always wear hats like this.
01:41Of course they do. Why?
01:42Nothing inside. Reach down inside. Pull it inside out, Dean.
01:44Pull it inside out?
01:45Nothing inside the hat so we can see what's that.
01:47That's an old Dorito chip. Don't eat that.
01:49Oh, God.
01:50Uh, Dean, I want you to go inside your imagination,
01:52much like I did right now, into that magical forest.
01:54Better in my imagination than you.
01:56Name a number one to five.
01:57Four.
01:58Four.
01:59No.
02:00Dean, you're in that magical forest right now.
02:02You're walking through the rows of trees.
02:04Are you there?
02:05Alright, I'm there.
02:06Great. I want you to reach up and remove a fruit.
02:08Plunk a fruit from one of those branches.
02:10In your mind. You have it?
02:12Uh-huh. Got it.
02:13Great. Toss it in the bag.
02:14Ooh. Wasn't that fun?
02:16That was fun. That was fun.
02:17Dean, out of any fruits, you're walking through this rows of trees,
02:20much like an orchard.
02:21Yes.
02:22You reach up and you plucked one fruit.
02:24What fruit did you pluck?
02:25Orange.
02:26An orange.
02:27You're in an orchard, not a grove.
02:29An orchard.
02:31An apple.
02:32An apple. Amazing.
02:33Dean, we didn't set this up.
02:35No, no. There's no way I could have known.
02:38What fruit you'd pick.
02:39Dean, you threw one fruit inside this hat.
02:41Empty hat from your imagination.
02:43Reach down inside the hat.
02:45Hold up that fruit nice and high for everybody to see.
02:48Dean, no. Dean, you suck at this game.
02:50It's a lemon.
02:51That's not good in the game.
02:52But, Dean.
02:53But, Dean.
02:54In your mind, you thought of a fruit.
02:56Yeah, I did.
02:57You said apple.
02:58I did say apple.
02:59Now, if I were to take this knife, answer this question correctly.
03:02I will.
03:03If I were to take this knife and cut open this lemon,
03:05and inside was an apple, that'd be amazing, wouldn't it?
03:08That would be amazing.
03:09Wouldn't it? It'd be amazing.
03:10It'd be amazing, wouldn't it, sir?
03:11That'd be ridiculous.
03:13It'd be impossible.
03:14Yes, it would be.
03:15Because this isn't even a knife.
03:16This is a marker.
03:17Yes, it is.
03:18Thank God.
03:19And, if I were to write a prediction with the marker,
03:22I wouldn't write it on a lemon.
03:24That'd be ridiculous.
03:25Yes, it would.
03:26I'd write it on a piece of paper.
03:27That used to be a lemon.
03:29And, inside that piece of paper, I would write down the word apple.
03:34Magic show, which just happened to be the flavor of that soap candy.
03:39Boom!
03:41Remind me never to go to Coachella with Dan Sperry.
03:44Let's let the magic begin.
03:50Prepare to be astonished by a magician who combines creativity and precision
03:55to deliver unforgettable illusions.
03:58He's an award-winning performer who has taken the world of close-up magic by storm.
04:03Captivating audiences everywhere, including right here.
04:06Let's give a warm welcome to the extraordinary Dragon.
04:10Hey guys, my name is Dragon, and I have been doing magic for just over 13 years now.
04:22So, that's pretty much over half my life, yeah.
04:25And, over the years, I have seen so many card tricks.
04:30As a magician, you see a lot of card tricks.
04:32And, I thought, instead of doing the regular card trick, you know, pick a card, I found it.
04:37I want to do the world's most interesting card trick.
04:40You see, most card tricks have a beginning and an end.
04:42What's interesting about this card trick is, the end already happened.
04:45The end has ended before the beginning begun.
04:47What's your name?
04:48Alyssa.
04:49Alyssa?
04:50You're going to pick a card, but it doesn't matter, because I already found it.
04:53So, Alyssa, I don't even have a normal deck of cards,
04:57because it's the world's most interesting card trick.
05:00I have a deck made up of pieces of paper that have different celebrity names on it.
05:05You can see, we have Margot Robbie, Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter, Albert Einstein, Ed Sheeran.
05:12And, yeah, there's like 50 or so.
05:16I'm just going to have you choose one of these.
05:18So, go ahead and just take one out.
05:22And, I want you to hide it, so I can't see it.
05:24Okay?
05:25And, just hold on to it.
05:27And, this is where it's going to get interesting, because you chose that name, yes?
05:32The trick's over now, because that was the beginning, the end already happened.
05:36Thanks.
05:37Thanks.
05:38But, for real, what do I mean?
05:40Well, before you chose that card, I took a photo of that celebrity,
05:46put it inside an envelope, put that envelope inside this notebook,
05:50and that photo of that celebrity was your celebrity.
05:55You don't believe me, do you?
05:57Well, here, I'll prove it, I'll prove it.
06:01Obviously, it's in here.
06:04And, there's a drawing of an envelope, right?
06:07Uh, what was the name of your celebrity?
06:10Yeah, yeah, show it, show it.
06:13Is that Johnny Depp?
06:14Johnny Depp.
06:15If everyone uses their imagination, look.
06:27It becomes real.
06:29But, wait, if what I said is true, then inside of this envelope should be a photograph.
06:33Not just any photograph.
06:35I actually got a very early photo of Johnny Depp in his career.
06:39Right here.
06:44It's a ultrasound for you guys in the back.
06:48But, no, I told you I would have a photo of Johnny Depp,
06:51so that's exactly why, right here, I have a photo of Johnny Depp.
07:02Thank you guys so much.
07:03Prepare to be amazed by a magician whose breathtaking illusions have left millions in awe.
07:13With his unique ability to blend elegance and mystery, this award-winning illusionist has become a staple on stages worldwide.
07:22Let's give a warm welcome to the extraordinary David Goldrake.
07:29Hello, everyone, and welcome.
07:31My name is David Goldrake.
07:33We're here with Fanny and with Arnold.
07:35You guys have been together for how many years?
07:38Three years.
07:41See, they weren't even sure.
07:42I mean, Fanny looked very convinced.
07:44It's always the same story, right?
07:46Now, Arnold, Fanny, we have a solid pane of glass right here that I brought you this afternoon.
07:50I would like you to examine it.
07:51Make sure it's solid.
07:52Make sure there are no openings, no trapdoors, no invisible slits.
07:55Go ahead.
07:56I want you to make sure that is exactly what it looks like.
07:59Yes.
08:00We're both very reserved.
08:02It is exactly what it looks like.
08:04Yes.
08:05You also have three coins.
08:06Good job, Arnold.
08:07Number one, number two, number three.
08:10Now, do you both believe in destiny?
08:13Yes.
08:14Of course.
08:15Yeah.
08:19Now, they say that once in a lifetime, someone comes along that you're absolutely meant to be with.
08:26Time stops.
08:27The planets align.
08:28The universe feels perfect.
08:31For Fanny and Arnold, that person's me.
08:35We're all going to perform a very special illusion for you.
08:38It involves three coins, a pane of glass.
08:41You'll all be able to see it, to hear it, and in your case, Fanny, feel it.
08:47I hope you enjoy it.
08:57Solid glass.
09:00Solid metal.
09:02Can you please check the coin one last time before we start?
09:05Make sure it's on top.
09:06Is everything the way it should be?
09:08Yeah.
09:09Yes.
09:10Now, everybody watch.
09:11Coin number one.
09:25Second coin.
09:29Fanny, watch closely.
09:30There's one right here.
09:31You can examine them because that's going to be yours, Fanny.
09:32One solid coin, one solid pane of glass.
09:33The other two coins are right here.
09:34You're going to take your hand, hold it underneath like a little table.
09:38We're going to put the first coin on top of Fanny's fingers.
09:39You're going to take your hand, hold it underneath like a little table.
09:40We're going to put the first coin on top of Fanny's fingers.
09:41The second coin.
09:42The second coin.
09:43You're going to take your hand, hold it underneath like a little table.
09:46You're going to put the first coin on top of Fanny's fingers.
09:47The second coin.
09:48Right here.
09:49And you press your hand against the glass.
09:50You're going to take your hand, hold it underneath like a little table.
09:51We're going to put the first coin on top of Fanny's fingers.
09:53The second coin.
09:54Right here.
09:55And you press your hand against the glass.
09:56Tip it forward so you can all see the coins.
09:57And now, for the skeptics among us, Fanny, may I ask you to lower your hand one last time.
09:59Lower your hand, show it right here.
10:00You're going to take your hand, hold it underneath like a little table.
10:03We're going to put the first coin on top of Fanny's fingers.
10:08The second coin.
10:11Right here.
10:12And you press your hand against the glass.
10:15Tip it forward so you can all see the coins.
10:19And now, for the skeptics among us, Fanny, may I ask you to lower your hand one last time.
10:25Lower your hand.
10:26Show everyone the coins.
10:27Can you all see them?
10:28Bring it back up.
10:29And now, whatever happens, don't worry.
10:32Coin.
10:34Number three.
10:38Coin number one.
10:40Number two.
10:42And number three.
10:48Let's give it up for Fanny and for Arnold.
10:52Coming up, Trino does the world's smallest load of laundry.
10:57We also have this laundry basket.
10:59Anthony, that's for you.
11:01And later, a magical science lesson from Adam Blunt.
11:04I don't know if you know this, but rubber bands are not a solid.
11:07They are actually a liquid, which means that they can go straight through one another.
11:13Masters of Illusion is just getting started.
11:16Now for a magician who has been wowing audiences with his unique mix of humor, charm, and high-impact magic.
11:29His modern approach to the ancient art of illusion is as entertaining as it is mind-blowing.
11:48Please welcome the one and only Trino.
11:57I have Nicolette and Anthony here.
11:59And recently, I found out that a lot of students graduating from high school, going off to college, out in the real world,
12:05they don't know a lot of very basic life skills.
12:07You've probably seen this as well.
12:09And it's really not their fault, because we took that class out of school for them to learn those things.
12:14So I wanted to illustrate that.
12:16Today, we are going to do the world's smallest load of laundry.
12:20Now Nicolette, I don't want to put you on the spot, but do you do your own laundry?
12:23Yes, please.
12:24And Anthony, you do your own as well.
12:26Now there might be somebody out here who's sitting who does not, and that's okay.
12:30If you don't know how to do it, I'm going to teach you how to do it.
12:33And you'll be able to go home and do your own laundry now.
12:35Is that cool?
12:36All right.
12:37What I brought with me here is two very fun pairs of dress socks.
12:42And I also have this laundry basket.
12:44Anthony, that's for you.
12:45Make sure there's no tigers, trap doors, nothing in there.
12:48And Nicolette, I have two really fun pairs of socks.
12:51I'll give you those ones.
12:52If you would, there's a safety pin up top there.
12:55All you do is just unpin that.
12:57You can pull it out.
12:58Don't poke yourself.
12:59Give them a shake.
13:00Show that you got just two socks.
13:04Perfect.
13:05Put them back together.
13:06Stick that pin through.
13:07We're going to take these ones right here.
13:08Anthony, these socks are going to go inside of this cup right here.
13:11We're going to keep the toes sticking out just like that.
13:14Anthony, all you got to do is make sure no funny business happens.
13:17All right.
13:18Perfect.
13:19All right.
13:20Nicolette, we got these as well.
13:22Now, before, I would have pushed an entire washing machine out here on stage to do this one.
13:27But for all of you today, you got to use a little bit of imagination.
13:30This is the newest model that just came out.
13:34Nicolette, go ahead and drop your socks in there.
13:37You pinned them?
13:38Yes.
13:39Now, if you do your own laundry at home, you've probably had this happen in your homes on a weekly basis.
13:44I'm, of course, talking about the vanishing sock in the dryer.
13:48You've seen this?
13:49You ever wonder why you go in the dryer and you find money, but you're missing socks?
13:54It almost proves the existence of some sort of sock fairy, right?
13:57Yeah.
13:58Nicolette, here's what we're going to do.
13:59We're going to fold this bag down.
14:00I don't know if you have one of those top load washing machine or dryers.
14:04Yeah?
14:05No, mine's the front load.
14:06All right.
14:07Now, have you ever washed an entire load of laundry?
14:10Yes.
14:11Washed it, like, from up top?
14:12Oh.
14:13No, no.
14:14I didn't have a lot of friends in high school, Nicolette.
14:15That was it.
14:16Nicolette, if you would, hold out your pointer finger and thumb on both hands.
14:19I want you to hold onto the sides of that washing machine.
14:21Can you see your socks in there?
14:22Yes.
14:23Yes.
14:24Hold that as far from your body as you are comfortable.
14:26And, Nicolette, we are going to do the world's smallest load of laundry.
14:29Now, for anyone out here who doesn't know, after you throw your clothes in, there's one more thing you have to add, which is, of course, the...
14:34The soap?
14:35The soap.
14:36The soap, that's right.
14:37Uh, Nicolette, your soap's right up there.
14:38Go ahead and grab it.
14:39Yeah.
14:40And I want you to pour that in.
14:42And I forgot to mention, sound effects really help everybody kind of get in the zone on this.
14:47So when you put that soap in, that sounds like, shh.
14:50Yeah, that was pretty good.
14:55We'll give it up for that.
14:57That's great.
14:58And then it starts spinning around.
15:00It goes through a spin cycle to see how saturated it needs to get.
15:02That's great.
15:03Something else starts coming in.
15:05That's, of course, the...
15:06What is it?
15:07Water?
15:08The water.
15:09That kind of sounded like the soap, but that's all right.
15:12The water comes in.
15:13That sounds like the reverse of the soap.
15:15I like it.
15:16And then, usually, you said you're not sitting there looking at the laundry the whole time as it goes, right?
15:21Yeah.
15:22You're in a different room, and you hear a noise, and that signals it's done.
15:25Ding.
15:26Ding.
15:27Ding.
15:28Very good.
15:29Mine shakes the whole house.
15:30That's when I know it's done.
15:31Nicolette, go ahead and pull your socks out of there.
15:34Shake them open.
15:35Look.
15:38Nothing in the washing machine.
15:40Anthony, you've been holding these socks the whole time, right?
15:43Look, nothing in my hands, nothing up my sleeves.
15:47Anthony, I'm gonna take just the toes of the socks right here.
15:49Ready?
15:50One, two, three.
16:03Everybody keep it going for Anthony and Nicolette.
16:06I'll take that back.
16:07Thank you so much.
16:10Coming up, Jackson Ridd enlists Alyssa's help in finding the right key.
16:15Now your odds will be pretty good, right?
16:16Yeah.
16:17That would be if we're only using two keys, right?
16:20Okay.
16:21And later, Grace will put her life in Mike Cadeny's hands.
16:24Let this thing roll up over there, okay?
16:26Careful.
16:27Careful.
16:28See?
16:29That's a good way to lose an eye.
16:31Masters of Illusion has so much left up.
16:33Stick around.
16:46This act features a mentalist whose performances are a blend of science, psychology and pure magic.
16:59He has a gift for making the impossible seem possible, all while keeping you on the edge of your seat.
17:06Please welcome the one, the only, Jackson Ridd.
17:11All right.
17:12Now, what is your name?
17:13Alyssa.
17:14Alyssa.
17:15Alyssa, I have a question for you.
17:16If I were to tell you that one of these two keys right here, Alyssa, opened the doorway to your future, there's a pretty good odds, right?
17:31Yeah, let's see.
17:32Yeah.
17:33Let's see.
17:34Yeah.
17:35Choose one for me, please.
17:37Take this one.
17:38That one?
17:39Okay.
17:40Why don't you go ahead and try that key in this lock right over here.
17:47Turn it?
17:48Open?
17:49Oh, it does not open, does it?
17:50Oh.
17:51Darn.
17:52Well, now your odds will be pretty good, right?
17:54Okay.
17:55Yeah.
17:56That would be if we're only using two keys, right?
17:58Okay.
17:59We have a lot more to play with over here.
18:01So, what I would like you to do is I just sort of mix these around.
18:06I want you to focus on a place that can maybe guide you throughout this process, okay?
18:11A place you can picture clearly in your mind, and we're going to see if that leads you to the right place, okay?
18:16All right.
18:17So, Alyssa, here we are.
18:18We're shuffling the keys around.
18:20Go ahead and put your hand down on either side.
18:26Okay, those over there.
18:27Excellent.
18:28We'll get rid of these over here.
18:29And go ahead and lift up your hand.
18:31As I'm collecting these, I want you to take a look at those keys.
18:34Take a look at the way they're cut.
18:37See them.
18:38Look at their...
18:39Notice how they're all different, right?
18:40They're all cut differently.
18:41And, uh, which means they open different locks.
18:44Yeah.
18:45Because that's how keys work.
18:46But we are going to, throughout this process, hopefully be guided to the proper place, the proper key for you.
18:54Okay?
18:55So, let's go ahead and get these a little bit more lined up over here.
18:58And, uh, once again, place your hand down on either side.
19:04Yeah.
19:05So, like, we'll do these for these.
19:07Got it.
19:08Okay.
19:09So, we'll get rid of these.
19:10And throughout this process, let's just see if any of these are the right ones.
19:14Okay?
19:15So, go ahead and just, we'll place this down.
19:17You want to try this one?
19:18The ones that we didn't use.
19:19Go ahead and try that.
19:20Just make sure.
19:24All the way in.
19:30Perfect.
19:31Try it.
19:32Turn it.
19:33Does not work, right?
19:34Okay.
19:35So, so far you're choosing pretty good.
19:36Yeah.
19:37All right.
19:38Okay.
19:39So, here we go.
19:40Once again, we have three, we have six left so far.
19:43Okay?
19:44So, which side?
19:45I'll do this side.
19:47Yeah?
19:48Okay.
19:49Get rid of these.
19:50Now, Alessa, move your hand one more time.
19:53It can't get fairer than this.
19:56We've tried different keys.
19:57We know that not every key opens a lock.
19:59We've seen all the bidding on the keys is different.
20:01They open different locks.
20:03Choose one.
20:05Pick the middle one.
20:06You sure?
20:07Yeah.
20:09Let's see if this key opens your destiny.
20:12Go ahead and try it in the lock for me.
20:17Turn it.
20:18Give a round of applause, please, for Alessa Berry.
20:20Nice.
20:21Now, I have a question for you, Alessa.
20:22What's the place that you chose to be guiding you throughout this process?
20:38Tokyo.
20:39Tokyo.
20:40Tokyo?
20:41I never told you what's inside the box.
20:44Yeah.
20:45Because inside of here is just one thing.
20:49It's a little piece of paper, a little luggage tag.
20:54Alessa, I think this is your sign to go to Tokyo.
20:59There you go.
21:04Give a round of applause to Alessa, please.
21:07Fantastic work.
21:08There you go.
21:09Give a round of applause to Alessa, please.
21:11Fantastic work.
21:17Coming up, Grace will put her life in Mike Cadeny's hands.
21:21Let this thing roll up over there, okay?
21:23Careful.
21:24Careful.
21:25See, that's a good way to lose an eye.
21:28And later, a magical science lesson from Adam Wiley.
21:31I don't know if you know this, but rubber bands are not a solid.
21:34They are actually a liquid, which means that they can go straight through one another.
21:40Plus, Feral Dillon gives a master class in magic.
21:44Now, an optical illusion, according to the internet, is a visually perceived image that differs from objective reality.
21:51Masters of Illusion has wonders in store.
21:54Stay tuned.
22:01Prepare to be amazed by a magician whose career spans over four decades of performing, writing, and preserving the art of magic.
22:20Known for his innovative routines and classic illusions, he's here to bring you a show filled with wonder and history.
22:27Let's give a warm welcome to the extraordinary Mike Cadeny.
22:33Thank you, Dean.
22:36All go on.
22:38Don't...
22:39You haven't seen anything.
22:41Thank you very much.
22:42Great crowd.
22:43Thank you so much.
22:44I'm going to need the assistance of somebody to help me out.
22:47I should explain that being a professional magician, such as I am...
22:52Ha!
22:54I have a lot of spare time on my...
22:55That's what I'm trying to tell you.
22:56I have an unbelievable amount of spare time.
22:58But I'm always practicing.
22:59That's what we do.
23:00Practice, practice, practice.
23:01I spent the better part of this past week practicing a little trick shot with that bow and arrow.
23:06And let me tell you something, my friends.
23:08When this shot works, it's a real heart stopper.
23:13And that's where you come in.
23:14Round of applause for the lady.
23:16Come on up here.
23:17Come on up here.
23:18Here she comes.
23:19Very exciting.
23:21Look at you.
23:22Very nice.
23:24Hello there.
23:25Your name?
23:26Grace.
23:27Grace, I am Mike the Magnificent.
23:29Ha!
23:31Grace, let me ask you something.
23:32Do you happen to know the entire story of William Tell?
23:36No.
23:37Excellent.
23:38Grace.
23:39No, it's better that way.
23:40There's no sense of getting Grace all worked up over nothing.
23:44You have the easiest job of anybody here tonight.
23:46All you have to do is reach into this pack of cards and take out anyone you like.
23:50I even let you see the faces so you get the one you want.
23:52Okay.
23:53Fantastic job.
23:54Grace, there's one other thing.
23:56The management here at the network has asked me to ask you if you would just take this pen
24:02and write across the face, not your face, face of the card, if you would just write the name of the person
24:09whom we should contact in case of emergency.
24:12Nothing to worry about.
24:13Nothing to worry.
24:14Write across the face.
24:15Full name?
24:16Yeah.
24:17Yeah, that'd be great.
24:18Please, ladies and gentlemen, you too.
24:20Please keep in mind at all times, I'm an expert.
24:24I never miss.
24:33Okay, I missed one lousy shot once.
24:36The lights were very bright.
24:38Well, not this bright.
24:39Anyway.
24:41And Grace, please, please, keep in mind yourself at all times.
24:44Just remember, I am an expert.
24:46I never miss.
24:50Perhaps you could hold that card up, let everybody see which one you have selected.
24:53Perhaps whose name you've written on that card.
24:56Whose name did you put on that card?
24:58Starzakian.
24:59Starzakian?
25:00Yeah.
25:01Who's that?
25:03My mom.
25:04Your mom.
25:05Good thinking, Grace.
25:07Why call 911 when mom is in the...
25:11That makes perfect sense.
25:12I will take that card from you.
25:14Here's something else you may not have known, Grace, and that is that an ordinary pack of 52 playing cards measures exactly one half of an inch thick.
25:2452 cards, one half inch.
25:27Fascinating, isn't it?
25:28Yeah.
25:29Not particularly.
25:30Okay.
25:31If I were to place Grace's card at the 26th position exactly halfway down, that means that her card would be one quarter of an inch from the top, one quarter of an inch from the bottom of the deck.
25:47You might want to remember some of this, it could be important later.
25:50Okay.
25:52Now, Grace, are you right-handed or left-handed?
25:54I'm right-handed.
25:55Excellent.
25:57I was hoping you'd say that.
25:59I want you to hold the deck of cards in your right hand, and I want you to hold the cards over your heart, just like that, but leaving me as large a target as possible.
26:07Okay.
26:12Okay.
26:13Good enough.
26:14In your left hand, I want you to hold on to this tape measure.
26:19Really, some idiot left their pen in the middle of the stage.
26:22All right.
26:26Now, by using that tape measure, Grace, I have measured the distance from the end of this string to the tip of that arrow,
26:34and I can tell you that it measures exactly 10 feet.
26:40Now, in just a moment, I'm going to position myself one quarter of an inch less than 10 feet from that pack of cards.
26:50I will then fire this poison-tipped arrow into the air.
26:56It will flash across the stage.
26:57It will strike the pack dead-centered.
26:59The needle-like point will cut a path through the top 25 cards,
27:03and when it reaches the 26th card, Grace's card,
27:08the arrow will have reached the end of its line and stop dead.
27:12A feat that is so unbelievable that I would be a fool to even attempt it
27:27if I had not been the two-time winner of the Golden Quiver Award at the annual...
27:32Whoa!
27:38Thank you very much.
27:42Do not provoke me.
27:46I'm armed and humorous.
27:49Grace, I gotta tell you, you look a little worried back here, pal.
27:52Yeah.
27:53No, no, no, you're forgetting, you're forgetting the most important thing.
27:58I'm an expert.
27:59I never miss.
28:01Okay.
28:03I'll tell you what.
28:04Sometimes, when I'm afraid that I might be killed,
28:07I have a little something to help calm me down, settle my nerves.
28:11Would you be any more comfortable wearing a blindfold?
28:21It's up to you.
28:23Sorry.
28:24Huh?
28:25Really?
28:26Yeah.
28:27You should have thought of that before you came up here.
28:29This one's for me.
28:34Okay, Grace.
28:35Tape measure, tape measure.
28:36Where's that tape measure?
28:38Good, good, good.
28:39Alright, come up here, Grace.
28:40Take that tape, take that tape.
28:42Okay.
28:43Back up, back up, back up, back up.
28:45I'm gonna back up over here.
28:47Okay, don't let me walk off the edge of the stage, folks.
28:51Not again.
28:53Okay.
28:55Grace?
28:57Grace?
28:58Grace?
28:59Yeah, if you nod your head, I can't hear you.
29:02Alright, I want you to look at the tape measure at the 10-foot mark.
29:06120 inches.
29:07On the tape, you will see a black arrow written.
29:10You see that arrow?
29:12Yes.
29:13You do?
29:14Are you standing at the tip of the arrow?
29:17No.
29:18Well, it's pretty important.
29:21If I was Grace, I'd be at the tip of that arrow.
29:25Okay?
29:26Are you there?
29:27Yeah.
29:28Okay.
29:29Don't move a muscle.
29:31I'm just gonna sneak into you now a quarter of an inch.
29:35Okay.
29:38I got the tape.
29:40Now listen, I'm gonna let this tape go.
29:41Let this thing roll up over there, okay?
29:43Careful!
29:44Careful!
29:45See, that's a good way to lose an eye.
29:47Here's a better way.
29:50Perfect condition.
29:51Grace, I'm going to aim by listening to the sound of your voice.
30:03When you're ready for me to shoot, I want you to call out nice and loud.
30:06I'm ready, Mike.
30:07Shoot me!
30:08I'm picking up a little bit of an echo in here.
30:09What happened?
30:10Grace, all I could hear was your heart pounding over there, okay?
30:26You know, a little cooperation might keep both of us from dying up here.
30:29Come over.
30:30Can we just, can we just use our heads for 10 seconds?
30:34Okay.
30:35Okay?
30:36Okay.
30:37You think the management at this, at this TV network, you think they're gonna let me come
30:41up in front of all these people and fire this needle sharp arrow right at your heart if they
30:47didn't think I could make this shot like 90% of the time?
30:51Of course not.
30:52That would be stupid.
30:53I know shots a lot harder than that.
30:55You want to see a really tough shot?
30:57Sure.
30:58Folks, you want to see a really tough shot?
31:00I'm sure you're a tough shot right now.
31:02Grace, you can help me out too.
31:04Uh, 26th card down has got mom's name written right across the face.
31:09Pack of cards go right down to the bottom of the quiver just like that.
31:15And Grace, remember, I never miss.
31:20Yes, I have speared a single card and yet you folks act like you see this every night.
31:29What the hell?
31:33Come, come, come, Grace.
31:36Yes, I hit A card.
31:37But the question is, did I hit B card?
31:40Only Grace knows for sure.
31:41How'd we do, pal?
31:42You got it.
31:43I got it.
31:44It's a fairytale finish.
31:46Take that card, Grace.
31:48Take a bow.
31:50Coming up, a science lesson from Adam Weiner.
31:55I don't know if you know this, but rubber bands are not a solid.
31:59They are actually a liquid, which means that they can go straight through one another.
32:04And later, Nathaniel Siegel's magical juggling act will put a smile on your face.
32:10Plus, Feral Dillon gives a master class in magic.
32:13Now, an optical illusion, according to the internet, is a visually perceived image that differs from objective reality.
32:19Masters of illusion has so much left up our sleeves. Stick around.
32:24Let's go.
32:25Let's go.
32:26Let's go.
32:27Let's go.
32:28Let's go.
32:29Let's go.
32:30Let's go.
32:31Let's go.
32:32Let's go.
32:33Let's go.
32:34Let's go.
32:35Let's go.

32:48Our next magician is renowned for his engaging and innovative approach to magic,
32:52making every single show a unique experience.
32:56Please give it up for the phenomenal Adam Wiley.
33:01Thank you so much. I am here with Harry and Avery-O.
33:05Have you guys ever seen rubber band magic before?
33:09It's an awesome thing. Harry, what color do you like?
33:14It's a green.
33:14Great. Go ahead and hold out your hand. I'm going to go ahead and put the green rubber band right there onto my hand.
33:20Hold out your hand just like this. Now, I need you to make sure that that rubber band is, in fact, completely real.
33:26Is it real?
33:27Do you know how to make sure a rubber band is real, Harry?
33:30Stretch it.
33:31Yes, absolutely. You stretch it in different ways, just like this, Gabriel, like that, until it breaks.
33:36When it breaks, you have to put it back together. That's how you know it's real. So make sure it's real.
33:40Please do not break it. That was a trick.
33:44Okay. Great. Fantastic. What about you? What color would you like?
33:49Yellow.
33:49Oh, yellow is great. Yellow does even more interesting things. Could you actually hold out your hand just like Harry did?
33:55Fantastic. Yeah. Perfect. Just like the this, so that it goes off your hand.
33:59Why don't you put your other hand on there? Because then it goes back onto your other hand, which is pretty crazy.
34:04Make sure that those are for realsies. All for realsies rubber bands. We've got a green one, and we've got a yellow one. These are very important. Watch that little section, because I don't know if you know this, but rubber bands are not a solid.
34:17They are actually a liquid, which means that they can go straight through one another, just like the that. You see that? They can go through not only on one side, but actually on both sides as well, which is pretty cool.
34:31I'm going to take it off of one side because I'm a magish. That's short for magician. Not that I'm a short magician. It's both true. Could you please go ahead and grab the yellow rubber band and take it off the green one?
34:43Yes, that's perfect. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. But of course, Harry, if you can take it off, then of course you could put it back on. Could you go ahead and put the green rubber band over the yellow rubber band?
34:54Both strings?
34:55It doesn't matter to me. Whatever you'd like. It's your choice. And just let go. And that's right there. It does, in fact, completely link onto there. It's crazy. And all you have to do is take it straight off, and both of you can keep each color rubber band that you'd like. Thank you so much.
35:20Prepare to be amazed by an illusionist who takes magic to new heights.

38:23So, you guys have seen a lot of magic, but right now, I'd like to stop and speak for just a
38:29moment about optical illusions.

38:36differs from objective reality.

38:43optical illusions, the chair in the box.

40:52Oh, okay.
40:53Oh, yeah.
40:54Obviously, you guys have seen this now a couple of times.
40:56You probably realize that this trick is not about the fact that this chair flips over inside this box,
41:01and actually about the fact that this box is a TARDIS.
41:05Now, a TARDIS is any object that is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.
41:11It's a true impossibility.
