Take a look at my three best things to do in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble next week.
Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddon and these are my three best things to do in Preston
00:06Chorley in South Ribble next week.
00:08First in Preston, a grommet model making workshop is being hosted by an Aardman animator at
00:13The Harris on Thursday, October 30th.
00:16As I'm sure you know, the beloved character grommet was created by Preston animator Nick
00:20Park and now you can learn to make your own grommet which you can then take home.
00:24There are three sessions throughout the day and tickets are £8 for adults and £5 for
00:28children.
00:29Second in South Ribble, Salisbury Hall is hosting a Halloween pumpkin hunt each day next week
00:34apart from Monday.
00:35Wonder the spooky rooms of Lancashire's most haunted house, not forgetting the witch's garret
00:40and the ghost room.
00:41Find every pumpkin and complete the quiz to be in with the chance of winning a night's
00:45glamping for a family of four in the Shepherd's hut hamlet.
00:48It's free entry to the hall and to park but costs £1 to take part in the hunt and quiz.
00:53Finally, the Andedon Centre in Chorley is opening its doors on Saturday, November 1st for what
00:58will be its second Open Day of the year.
01:01The Autumn Open Day is another opportunity for you to experience with the most popular
01:04land activities that regularly get asked for at the Andedon Centre.
01:07There are two sessions, the first being 9.30am and 12pm, the second being between 1pm and 3.30pm.
01:13Tickets are £12 with all proceeds going towards the charity Lancashire Outdoor Activities Initiative.
01:20So there are my three best things to do next week, but whatever you're up to, have a good
01:24one.
