00:00Fondation was your first big role and Gala has been with you for years now.
00:07How has she changed over the seasons and how has your approach to her changed, if it has?
00:15Yeah, I mean, I've watched her grow.
00:18I've been doing this for six years now, so it's been, I've grown too, a lot in this process.
00:25She really has evolved.
00:26I mean, she starts off being a bit naive and kind of a deer in headlights, like not really knowing what's going on,
00:33but kind of taking, rolling with the punches to, you know, losing a lot of really close people to her.
00:40And now she's taken the role of being a leader and being in control and in charge and has become a woman.
00:46And I think my approach to the season was to try and make her come across as older and more mature because she is now.
00:54And I think it, you know, translates and it shows and it's really, really great because you kind of believe that she can take all this responsibility on if you believe that she's now, you know, grown into herself a little bit more.
01:08I think that the evolution of gal's looks is a reflection of her evolution as a woman and as a scientist and now as a leader.
01:21Did the costumes, the art styles help you to build the character through the all three seasons?
01:27Yeah, no, it really has.
01:29I mean, she was very cute and in her little like blazes in season one and her hair up and then season two, it's a bit more practical, but still, you know, kind of somewhere in between, you know, that and what she is now where, I mean, we chose to have her hair longer this season because of the time passing.
01:51And she just looks more lived in, like she just seems more comfortable in her body and more comfortable in herself and more confident, which is hopefully what we all do when we kind of evolve into being adults and being who we are and accepting who we are.
02:08Yeah, and Foundation is a sci-fi adaptation of the novels of one of the father of science fiction and as a reader and a spectator, do you like this genre?
02:25Do you like sci-fi and there is any difference between what do you like as a spectator, as a movie girl and as an actor?
02:32I mean, sci-fi has always been something, and fantasy and, you know, all of that, those genres that are, you know, beyond what you would call something more realistic, I suppose, are things that I've always enjoyed.
02:48I mean, I'm not like a super, super into it that I follow it in great detail, but I do enjoy watching these kinds of genres.
02:57There's part of it, as an actor, it's amazing, it's super challenging, and being on these massive sets and with these amazing costumes and hair and makeup is, I feel very lucky that I get to do that.
03:09And I guess at the same time, when I watch the show back, I'm watching it as someone who would be a fan at the same time, because I don't get to see everyone else's work.
03:20So when I finally get to see it as a whole piece, it really is brilliant and wonderful, and I'm so excited for this season to be out.
